Blue Screen Constantly And May Be Caused When Watching Movies
Nov 18, 2011
I had this computer for a little over a year and since the beginning had this blue screen problem. I later on formatted the computer but the blue screen problem will not go away.
I updated from window vista 64-bits version to the windows 7 ultimate 64-bits versioin a month ago. The first few days, I had the same problem but it went away. Now, a month later, the problem came back and gotten worse. I constantly got this blue screen telling me that there is an error and the laptop has to shut down. I tried starting in the safe mode, same thing happens. What do I do? I copied down the log. Thanks in advance.

Alright so a couple months ago my computer crashed and I was told it was a hard drive problem. So I got a new hard drive and installed it myself reinstalling windows and everything else. After a bout a week my computer would randomly shut off the screens image would become jumbled with dark lines running horizontally across and then it would either shut off or give me the BSOD. The BSOD flashes fast so I can't write down any information from it. This has happened repeatedly for about 3 months since every couple days. Usually I leave my laptop alone for about 15 min and then I can start it up again. The problem seems to happen mostly when i watch videos or go on sites with a lot of media going on. I think I've installed all the drivers i need to. I'm hoping it is not a hardware problem because i just bought this hard drive. I never had this problem before when i had the old hard drive. If any one could give me some help that would be awesome. I also ran check disk and it came up with nothing. My laptop is an HP G72 Notebook running windows 7. Hard drive is a western digital 250 gb.
Running a Dell Inspiron Zino HD. Constantly crashes, get either a blue screen, black screen or stripes. Usually says something about a crash dump but goes blank before I can read.
Recently I have been receiving a BSOD, most of which has been while watching videos on my vlc player. I have on the occasion received this error while listening to music on spotify. Below is the error message i get after my computer performs a memory dump and restarts. I am running windows 7 enterprise, service pack 1, with a 64 bit, i have 2 gigs of ram, and a 2.4 ghz processor
A few days ago I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits. Immediately I had big problems while watching tv and videos of any kind. If I make any action with the mouse or the keyboard while watching a video there is a very high probability that Windows freezes and then restarts. This is the content of one BSOD file (they are all identical):
I'm abroad and have only my company laptop wich I have administrator privileges. It has Windows 7 installed and the HDD is encrypted with some software and I'm not sure if I have BIOS access to change boot options. So when I was watching a streming match of football the pc crashed and I forced the shutdown. When I restarted it a BSOD shown up with the message Unmountable Boot Volume. As I'm used to deal with some of this problems but it is my first time on Windows 7 the first thing I tried was normal start up. When windows starts to load, there's no logo on the "starting windows" window and then when the bar starts to load it stops in the next sec and BSOD is shown. Next step was to start on safe mode but the same problem was shown, first the windows "STARTING WINDOWS" with no logo, then a grey window saying "LOADING WINDOWS FILES" then the window where the bar starts to fill but it only takes a sec and the same BSOD appears. Next try was the repair option but the same problem as in safe mode. So as it was now, windows is not starting in any mode.Next step was to try to boot ubuntu from a usb pen I always carry on my trips, but since the HDD is encrypted the first thing to boot is the disk and the password for hdd access, so I cannot boot from the usb with the HDD connected. I then used the laptop with my usb to continue watching the game on the stream channel, but then I really need to have my PC fixed with Windows 7, since I'm not returning home the next days and need to have my home company laptop working because I need to be 24h available to connect me. What I'm thinking is download and burn a Windows 7 DVD from M$ servers and try to access the command prompt while booting. Then try the check disk command and see if it works. I'm also downloading Hiren's boot cd or partedmagic to try different things.Next problem will be to boot from CD but since I didn't tried yet I cannot tell you if I can or cannot, but with the HDD connected I think it will be difficult since the first screen to be shown is always the encryption hdd software asking for password.Since the hdd is encrypted I think I will not be able to backup my files which can be a problem too.Do you have any suggestions? How can my windows 7 not start in safe or repair mode?Remember I'm abroad and that laptop is the only thing I have to work with at home, so no desktop to connect the HDD, no backup HDD to save files and no recordable DVDs (that I guess I'll need to buy to boot from Windows 7 CD). The only thing I have is a 4GB usb pen with ubuntu and a 16GB pen with work documents that can save some files
My Thinkpad X201i is running Windows 7 system with Nortel VPN and Lotus Notes. When I connect to VPN and run Notes.exe, the system may meet a blue screen and says: tcpip.exe error. This really drive me mad.
my computer automatically updated on the 8th of may of this year, and now wont completely start up. Once the windows logo appears it restarts and goes through the process all over again, i've been dealing with this all day
this BSOD problem has been getting worse and worse , i dont know if its a virus or not ive used multiple different anti virus and malware programs and they come up with nothing . Well basically whenever im playing my games my entire OS crashes at random times and the other times it will go straight to the BSOD and memory dump , ive loaded the DMP files on the attachments just the three latest DMP files from my crashes
I have strange freezing problems on my Asus N82JQ laptop. When playing most games and watching movies their will be freezing and/or audio problems with audio cutting in and out. Whats truly strange is by running a scan on malware bytes the problems seem to go away and then immediatly return after the scan completes. I have updated my drivers, ran countless different anti-virus programs and searched throughout google yet I still have no solution.
Built this rig almost 2 years ago, AMD 965 BE, 4gb ocz ddr3 1600 (had 8 but 4gb were corrupt), Win 7 Home Premium x64, Asus MB Just started getting random BSOD in the past week or so while playing SWTOR, watching vids on internet.
I've built this PC a week ago (first time) I installed windows, all the windows updates. I could get and drivers from my manufacturer(s) sites. However, when I'm downloading a file, or watching a movie, playing games it suddenly BSOD, I looked through the crash files, and almost every crash has been a different error.
My PC: Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z77 CPU: i5-2500k GPU: EVGA Geforce 670 2gb PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 600W RAM: 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit retail.
Everything built and installed a week ago. Also, no overclocking has been done.
My desktop keeps stuttering every few minutes or so. I have all of the drivers up to date and I cannot figure out what is wrong. The problem occurs the most while watching Netflix and playing games, but happens pretty regularly in general.

I just built this computer a couple of months ago, yesterday I turned on my computer in the morning, and it ran fine, did my usual morning website raid on soccer etc, turned it off went out to do some errands, came back and turned it on and it kept hanging on the "Windows Loading" screen, read around about a couple of things it could be, i think I narrowed it down to my secondard hard drive (WD 500G Caviar Blue) which i use for storage and downloads, all my games and OS are installed on my solid state.
So whenever my secondary hard drive is plugged in, my comp hangs on "Windows Loading". If i unplug it, it loads up windows quick and easy like always. I turned on hot swap, and if i plugged in my HDD after my computer was already loading into windows, it would be fine than once it recognized it, it would start crashing my windows explorer etc constantly. I tried switching SATA ports, now it goes into windows with the hard drive plugged into another SATA port, the HDD is recoginzed in Disk Management, and is also recognized in device manager, but I cant access it.
These are my specs.

i have got windows 7 ultimate 32bt 6.1 build 7600 and i have got a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5355.
I have just installed Civilization 4 and when it loads the screen flickers blue while the movies are playing and then when its on the main menu it flickers but not a blue screen just its all weird.
I can remember last week Windows Update updated my SIS mirage 3 graphics driver and i have had windows 7 installed for about 2 weeks now.
I have bought and used Biostar hd 5670 card for a few week ago. I got many experience about this card because it always go blank while I try to play the videos like .mp4 .mkv and HD movies. It also on media decoding assesement and watching videos online. This problems blow up after close the player or done watching. I tried a lots of solution like update adobe flash player, update AMD Catalyst to Version 12.10, Test with other motherboard, change PSU+more. Finally it still the same. Or it need to configure a crossfirex to work?. It still works well for gaming just video problems.

It work on the old system which spec: Asus p5kpl am-se,intel pentium 4, 1gb ddr2, but when ram upgrade to 2gb the problem back again. i don't understand why?
I have just upgraded my pc from an E8400 cpu with 8gb ram to an i5 3570k with 16gb ram.I have a MSI Z77A GD65 motherboard and using that I ebayed myself another Gigabyte GTX470 SOC to run a SLI setup.Nothing is overclocked yet, having heat issues in my new corsair 550D case which I will solve when the wife lets me spend again. Now, my old dual core with a single graphics card was awesome, overclocked and I never really had any issues with it until the other day. I found myself playing Anno 2070 fullscreen, and had the wife watching a movie via windows media player on my big tv.Windows media player lets you choose a sound output device, so my home cinema got an output from my old motherboard's spdif socket. My game's sound output was via the speakers on my desk, set to low else I get shouted at!Both screens are 1080p, and one had Anno 2070 set to fullscreen and the other playing movies in fullscreen. My dual core would play the game fine, but the movie got really jerky to the point you couldn't pay it close attention.I upgraded my pc to a quad core, with another 8gb of ram and tried to play Anno 2070 and watch a movie at the same time to see how awesome my new setup would be. That was the plan, Anno 2070 was smoother but I had a black screen instead of a movie. I could hear the film, and if I alt tabbed out of the game the movie would appear again and disappear when I went back into the game. All my drivers are up to date, I just got my first SSD (LOVE IT!!) and have a shiny new copy of windows 7 professional installed on it.I have not had much luck with that lucid mvp rubbish, and have installed and reinstalled the drivers for that. Due to tearing in Skyrim and Deus Ex not as good as the first one Human Revolution, I swapped the SLI bridge over from one set of sockets to another. Now, that is the back ground covered, my set up, new copy of Windows, latest drivers and a bit of messing around trying to get rid of tearing in games resulting in Lucid MVP hatred (another long term plan, but I think this is like my old power vr card, good in plan but rubbish so I think Lucid will fade away. Now my Question! Phew! What causes windows media player to go black whilst gaming full screen? I get a little bit of movie time, then it corupts and goes black.I have tried a few things, but google power is failing me and I am scratching my head. I get a feeling that there is a conflict somewhere and before I just wipe my SSD to reinstall, I thought I would see if anyone else has dealt with this before.
This will happen to me every once in a while, I'll either be watching a movie on Blu-Ray or I'll have a movie in iTunes playing, and after about an hour it will turn the screen saver on, and I've looked everywhere in the control panel for an option to turn it off selectively, and I cannot find one, is there a way to do this?
I've had my asus eeepc 1001pxd running at 16 bit ( just changed it)and my internet keeps freezing up especially when I im watching video. When i check the task manager it shows that I'm using a load of cpu when I open new page I've changed my browser from chrome to mozilla and finally now to Opera which seems to work better but whenever I'm online it seems to freeze up. I've had some other little glitches too. Once in a while the keyboard just stops working and also once in a while arrow keys just start turning the screen upside down out of the blue. I've tried to figure everything out. but to no avail. It even froze up (not responding) when i started the event viewer.
Here are the details from my eventvwr from the last week. Code:

My PC's display just went off while I was surfing the net...first I thought it was the screen, so I plugged in another screen, windows booted and same happened after a few minutes after startup...screen just goes off...Now to my knowledge it can be 2 things:
1. graphics card
2. RAM. Notes: I do not get any beep errors...
I would like to know, what are the best software available for testing RAM issues? Also, I am using AMI BIOS(american megatrends v7.4, 2009), how do I do the startup memory diagnostics? I know there is a shortcut for it...
Also, I'm typing on the PC now that is giving me issues, don't know how long until display goes again...
I have a problem with the screen brightness constantly dimming itself...it doesn`t matter which power setting I try or which route I go down...whenever re-setting,the tab just moves itself back down to the lowest setting...sometimes it stays bright for around an hour and then once again will revert. I have installed a new hard drive and so this is a new installation of windows 7 32 bit...but prior to this new hard drive I had the same problem.
I have a brand new dm3t series laptop. There are two issues that I'm having with the laptop that no one can seem to figure out. I literally had an HP tech remote access my laptop and spend an hour trying to figure out what was wrong.
I have tried system restore, recovery, re installation of drivers and really everything else they've asked me to do. I turn to the forum to see if anyone is can help, thanks much.
1) First issue is very annoying. When I awake my computer from sleep the mouse is very sluggish and doesn't hardly respond to the track pad. Furthermore, the mouse is a magnify glass and when I do try to move the mouse via track pad it just zooms in and out. Oddly enough, after a few minutes of sitting there the mouse starts to work again. It's almost like the mouse has to warm up. It is very frustrating.
2) Second issue is the display on battery power. When on battery power the screen CONSTANTLY is dimming and brightening itself. For instance as I'm typing this thread the screen is brightening and dimming for no apparant reason. I'm not sure why and i'm sure it is wasting my battery. I've tried all sorts of power management tips/ticks and still nothing.
Any help would be appreciated, should I just return it? What can I do?
