i have a fresh windows system and i noticed when i put my usb broadband dongle and connect to the internet with it, I always get a BSOD 0x0000000A after it connects dunno whats the problem.
I'm a 3g dongle to connect to the net, I previously set up the ps3 to connect through same via the wired connection. That work fine for a bit, until I updated the firmware, Since then the PS can't seem to obtain an IP address and after setting a static IP it gives me a DNS error. On the flip side, my LAN is giving me a no internet access problem(ipv4) and also an unidentified network
I've changed the cable, released and renewed and reset the ipconfig and also flush DNS. I'm having the same problem with my laptop. Both were able to share the connection with the PS3 before.
My mother's laptop has recently starting suffering frequent BSODs - having started to look at it, it seems to mainly happen when connecting to the internet.I haven't been able to run many of the suggested software as connecting to the internet causes it to crash.I attach one of the desired files. It is a TOSHIBA laptop, running WINDOW 7 Home Premium SP1. It has a Celeron Dual-Core CPU T3000 @ 1.80 GHz, with 2 GB RAM.

I recently purchased an HP Omni 120; it doesn't have a VGA port but plenty of USB ports, and I found a TRENDnet USB/VGA KVM cable and I attempted to attach it to my computer an external monitor, but an error message popped up saying that it doesn't recognize the driver.
I learned that KVM is hooking up multiple computers with the same keyboard and mouse, but I wanted to know if I could use this cable for simply extending my display onto a second monitor without purchasing a KVM switch -- is there a driver or alternate method that would work? Or is there recommendations for a good, cheap USB/VGA cord?

I have just bought a new computer with windows 7 but when I switch it on it does not connect to my orange livebox. If I switch off the livebox at the mains leaving it for 30seconds before switching back on it connects with the computer after booting up. I leave the computer switched on during this manouvre. If I do a restart then it will connect up ok. If I switch off and turn on again it does not connect.

I have the Acer Aspire 5741Z and it has HDMI connection on the side. I plugged in the cord to the laptop and then to the TV. Sometimes (depending on the model of the TV) when I set the menu to HDMI the TV will search for the connection and signal and connnect automatically. Then with other TV's is doesn't.What am I doing wrong or does to laptop has to be configured someway?

Canon camera has firewire port but computer only has USB. Is there a cable that has firewire connection on one end for the camera connection and a USB connection for the computer?
I attend college full-time via online and on of my courses requires(!) using the VM (virtual machine) to complete the assignments. I connect fine, but once inside everything is unbelievably slow. Everything loads in blocks visually, like puzzle pieces, and will kick me out of the console if I do not input every minute or two. I am told it is the result of using a wireless connection vs "hard-wire." What can I do to "bring it up to speed"?
My sound card Xonar D1 doesn't work properly and i wrote to ASUS and they told me to connect the "HD audio" or "speaker" cables from the front panel of motherboard to the sound card's front panel. Is that safe to do? weather it will work or not, is it safe to try?
