BSOD While General Use And Playing Minecraft
Mar 22, 2012I have been having BSOD for a while now. It happens during extended general use, or when playing games (really only minecraft). However, when I turn the power settings to "Power saver" I do not usually get a crash (not as far as i remember anyhow). But I would rather not have to use that mode, because it makes using more than one window at a time slow, and severely impacts game performance.
Here are the Sys Specs:
Windows 7 x64 Is the Original Install (however it is dual booted with Linux mint 12, but I was having the same problems before then as well);
OEM version
4 gigs RAM
500gig HD

Feb 25, 2012i was playing minecraft as usual and then the screen frezes for 10 seconds then goes n normaly then the screen becomes black then the BSOD i havent read much because it restarted but i was having this eror from christmas i replaced my hard driver and reinstal my windows a few times.Then somebody told me it was an overloading problem then i stoped playing like 24/7 hrs on minecraft and it was good no more BSODs and i started playing 24/7 again for about 2 weeks but now i got it again just a few minutes ago i downloaded and instaled and used BSOD veiwer and the here is it:

Apr 17, 20121.Problem describing: So i am a 13 old boy who was playing about 24/7 hrs on mineacrft in 1.8 beta and then the 1.0.0 udate camed not very far from christmas and i was playing the exactly time as mentioned before then about 2 weeks later i got A LOT of BSODsand before this with like a month i replaced my GFX card because it was completly ruinedand then after a time i replaced the HDD driver with a better one of 500gb then everything gone wel from new year until yesterday i was used to play minecarft and other games untl my comp hits 28-29 grades no more and from a time i was againplaying mineecarft 24/7 and to prevent hiting i lower my minecraft setings but the temperature was growing each day i didnt know why untl it was hitin 29 when i was playing i didnt cared to much and then i was playing and the screen stops for about 10-5 secs then going on after that i decided it was nothing and after 20-10 secs a blue screen apeard and the sngle thing that i was able to read was KARNEL_DATA..... . Jan 6, 2012My system had BSOD in the past but I managed to fixed it by dusting out the computer. Since then it has been running pretty smoothly with no problem. BSOD came back several days ago and I have no idea what is causing it. This usually happen when I'm playing WOW but also when I'm sleeping, woke up in the morning and the computer restarted (wow wasn't on). I have attached the dumps and the necessary files.

Jan 3, 2012I've recently just built a new rig and have experienced several BSOD's when playing BF3. The strange thing is I can sometimes play the game all day and experience no issue and then sometimes just have constant BSOD's when playing BF3 - especially when it is loading the map!My screen just goes black with an infinite sound loop and I am unable to alt + ctrl + del or anything, my computer is literally dead until I restart it..My CPU and GPU temps are fine, I mean.. I can play for up to 5 hours and the temps are still good.For instance, I was just playing the game with Fraps (see the FPS) was playing at 58 fps on ultra.. and as soon as I press F9 to start recording.. Apr 1, 2012Alright, basically whenever I play a game I have some type of problem. I usually play Starcraft 2 and it's fine, but occasionally I'll get a BSOD or my display driver will stop working. When I'm not attempting to stream my games to twitch.tv this is pretty rare, but it still happens occasionally. Whenever I run xsplit and dxtory combined with starcraft 2 and stream, I get crashes constantly. My GPU doesn't ever really go above 53c, so I don't think that's what's causing it, but I could be wrong. My display driver stopping happens with most games that are pretty intense on the computer, but, like I said, my temps don't usually get too high. I'd love to solve whatever is causing me these problems. Feb 15, 2012I have been having random crashes / restarts on my computer for the entire duration that I have had my windows 7 installed, before this I used windows xp which was on the same hard drive. I thought I managed to fix the issue but it happened again today and once yesterday as well.
What happens:
-Playing random game or browsing internet
-crash for no reason (Doesn't always BSOD)
-computer restarts says windows did not shut down cleanly etc..
-start up what I was doing again
-no crash
Search and Destroy along with Malwarebytes says that I am clean along with my AVG My dump settings are properly configured to produce dump files, although when this happens I do not see one being produced
My Windows 7 computer:
- x64 bit
- not the original OS
- retail version
- What is the age of system (hardware)? - 3/4 years at most
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 1/2 years
EDIT: I was looking through some other threads and managed to actually get some dump files and I reattached the information

Apr 8, 2012Sometimes I get random BSOD's, it's not something that happens every day however it's getting irritating. The last time it happend was today in Counter Strike 1.6 with the "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION" error. So I followed your Verifier Driver tutorial and got 2 BSOD's with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL caused by aswTdi.sys (Avast Driver).. However I just installed Avast yesterday, and as you can see in my dmp files, I have had BSODs before with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and others, so I don't think that's the main issue.Sometimes I also get BSOD while watching a movie or something with XBMC, it happens randomly, but not often.I have thought maybe it's the ATi/AMD GPU (some BSOD ref.), and I have been checking temps, it's about 60C - I have changed the thermal paste and cleaned it - but still sometimes BSOD. I have played a lot of BF3 without getting BSOD, and that's a heck a lot of more strain on the GPU than CS 1.6.

Random BSOD Playing WoW On AMD Quad Core System

The dump file shows ntoskrnl is the driver causing the BSOD. Another dump file says ElRawDSK causes BSOD. Both offcourse are drivers.

I would get a random black screen while playing an online game on my laptop (this happens randomly but usually 15-30mins after starting Windows and start playing the game). After the black screen appeared, it would automatically reboot to this windows error recovery page with options to go into safe mode (networking/command prompt) or just boot windows normally.I chose to boot Windows normally but after getting into Windows 7 and started playing a while, a random BSOD would appear. It has happened for 2-3 days straight. The attached is the mini dump.
Note: I did not install anything new to my laptop, I have ran chkdsk and sfc /scannow and found nothing.I have no idea what caused the black screen and the BSOD.

Dec 24, 2011I got a random BSOD while playing League of Legends on a new custom made gaming computer, which rapidly disappeared as the computer restarted. I selected to restore (as recommended) and got the same screen but it stayed. The only information provided is an error code of 0x000000F7...I attempted to start the computer in safe mode however I still got the same BSOD.Now the computer refuses to even start with no signal output to the screen. After a long time being off (I was out helping a family member out) I came back and tried once again and it logged on fine.
