Auzentech X-Fi Prelude Driver
May 25, 2009Anybody knows where can i get the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude driver for Win 7 ? I can't get the Vista drivers to install on Windows 7 & i have no sound on Win 7.

AuzenTech Prelude X-FI Card
Jan 9, 2009I am using W7B1 with an Auzentech Prelude X-FI Card, connected to Z5500 Logitech Speakers and I have a problem since installing X64 Windows 7. Basically WMP will only play sound if I go into the control panel and click test sound, to which it then says it will disconnect the device, and then I click no, sound returns until the media stops playing and then I need to repeat.
Anyone got any ideas how I can resolve this?
Auzentech Prelude Dolby Digital 5.1 Not Working
Oct 23, 2009I only can get my front 2 speakers to work with Auzentech Prelude.
Previously Auzentech worked successfully on XP with all features working correctly so there is some compatibility issue with Windows 7.
I have followed the Install instructions as posted on the Auzentech website. I will copy and paste this for reference.
1.Install the Driver in the CD first.
2.Reboot PC
3.Download and unzip the R4_patch driver
4.Double-click "setup.exe."
5.Check “Overwrite existing shared Creative audio driver files”
6.Click OK
7.Reboot your PC after completing the installation.
The error message I get when checking the Dolby Digital box is "The Creative Audio Service is not started. Please Reinstall the application".
The 5.1 test sound pattern from the Auzentech volume control does not emit any sound.
The SPDIF properties also has a sound test pattern which displays and plays only 2 channels of sound (Front left and right).
There are no error messages in the Device Manager.
Has anyone here discovered what is preventing the Dolby Digital from working?
Restore Auzentech Driver
Jul 30, 2009Does anyone know how to recover one of the original Windows 7 drivers, from those that were included in the original installation (I use RC1).
I installed an Auzentech Forte soundcard a while agao and Windows 7 had installed some version of the driver that it had in its database. Auzentech has recently released a beta then a final Windows 7 drivers. Unfortunately they cause static. After I installed the beta driver and experienced the static, I rolled back to the original Windows 7 driver and it was cured.
This time, while testing a new driver version, it seems that I have deleted the original Windows 7 driver and cannot roll back to them (no restore point old enough). Unlike the first time(s), Windows 7 is no more able to reinstall its own driver by default after I remove the current one.
I'd like to know if anyone knows a way to go back into the Windows 7 installation DVD, or some other way, and get back that original driver.

AuzenTech X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema Drivers
Jul 26, 2009Well, AuzenTech released their Windows 7 drivers and are currently in RC-1 stage. The problem is that they don't even work. After I installed them (tried with and without UAC enabled) in a fresh install, no program or application will open at all. It's like a complete system hang up on applications (including their own control panel), therefore leaving me with the only option to completely uninstall it to be able to keep using my computer.
Unfortunately now I am left without my sound hardware acceleration and will probably need to switch to onboard audio.
Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to solve it?
I'm running Windows 7 RTM.

Jan 7, 2013Okay so, my laptop's system is unable to boot, so I just tried to format it since I have to do that for a very long time, and when it asked me in which partition I want to install windows there was nothing, although when I clicked "Load Driver" I could access the hard disk's files, the hard disk IS listed in the bios normally but windows does not recognize it, I tried using Kaspersky Rescue disk(the only CD I had along with the recovery disk)and when I used the File Manager, the hard disk still didn't show, are there any drivers I have to install?I have burned both fujitsu9that's my laptop) and Seagate's websites and can't find anything, I have searched forums but the only answers were "check if your hd is listen in bios".So, i IS listed in bios but I can't reinstall windows nor access it

Sep 22, 2012I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. Oct 3, 2009I just installed Windows 7 to my Apple iMac (latest generation from Apple) on a Boot Camp partition. The solve PC issues window says I need to update my driver and includes a direct download but I prefer to get the update directly from the source. I think that the GeForce/ION Driver Release 190 is the graphics driver I need.
NVIDIA DRIVERS 190.62 WHQL
When I run the driver test on the nvidia website it says I need the Notebook Release 186 but the 9400 is not listed under supported devices. Again, I'm 99% sure that I need the GeForce/ION Driver Release 190 but I don't want to screw anything up.
