ATI Radeon R9550 256mb 128bit AGP video card inquiry, drivers with an ATI Radeon R9550 256mb 128bit AGP video card for Windows 7/Vista. Can't seem to connect to the amd site since early morning here in Asia.Has someone used this agp card for Windows 7? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have windows 7 7600 x64 and using the newest official Catalyst drivers from ATI for the Radeon 4890 1GB video card I own.
However I have noticed some little issues in games. Two games Im currently playing Trine, and Mass Effect show what I call a tear (its not anything missing) but when your running around you see a visible line move its way up the screen like your watching a fast refresh on PC-Anywhere or something.
It does not effect the game at all, or slow it down and its not 100% of the time its when your running or moving side to side etc. Always while in motion.
I thought maybe it was a vsync issue so Checked that in the graphic settings for Mass Effect but no difference. Does anyone know what Im referring to if there is a proper name and how I can go about reducing it or eliminating it in games?
In Trine it does it as well when IM running and jumping around (side scroller).
So just upgraded my system from Vista to W7. now everytime I unplug the monitor from my rig and reconnect it the video in WMP is all distorted and dark. I have to uninstall the video card and then load the drivers again..

I'm currently using xp home edition and I just bought the SAPPHIRE RADEON HD 4650 1G AGP. The current version of my driver is 8.620.0.0. I found out that there was new updates for the driver. When I tried to make them a bug came in my system. I tried manually to locate the files for the update but still didn't work.
Anybody could pls have any clue about that?

It is the AGP type of card.
I am running Windows Ultimate 7 64bit.
I googled it but there seems to be nothing out there that will work 100% for a 64bit version of Windows 7.
I really just want the graphics portion of it to function fully. The tuner would be a bonus. I just emailed Ati/AMD and they responded with this email:
The All in Wonder 2006 is a legacy chipset. There are currently no announced plans for drivers for any of the legacy products to be developed in any operating system including Windows 7.
The legacy All in Wonder cards are supported up to XP SP2. They have no support in any operating system higher than this from AMD Customer Care. In Vista drivers where released for the card and input features. This is not the case for Windows 7, there will be no drivers for the video card or input features of the card in Windows 7.
Currently the Theatre 750 TV tuners are the only tuners with drivers from AMD for Windows 7, Theatre 650/600 tuners should have drivers released in the first quarter of 2010.
PCI Express based Radeon HD2400 series and higher Radeon based cards have drivers and support in Windows 7 from AMD.

That and ati just put that card in legacy support Model HD-485X-ZDFC rev.2.1 if you all want to look up the specs has double lifetime warranty one of the reason i bought it, Had it replace by xfx once when capacitors started leaking in an older revision of the card.

I take out both of my different videos cards and use internal video and it does not crash. The problem is this is my living room movie file player and the video cards make a huge difference....I also need explorer as well....now Chrome works but that is not what I want..

I have tried AMD fo poor graphics score, they suggested downloading their latest Catalyst driver suite. I followed their instructions to the letter and, no change. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having this problem 2 days ago and it's a bit frustrating. I was just playing some games when it suddenly restarted automatically. My device manager doesn't seem to acknowledge my graphics card anymore for some apparent reason. I've tried plugging my monitor in my graphics card and it just seems like on a standby mode with the blank screen showing nothing.
But when I plug my monitor to my motherboard port it shows up fine and is in the device manager. I've tried cleaning my drivers with "Driver Sweeper" then reinstalling the lastest driver for my graphics card, but that didn't do anything. I was hoping if anyone knows what's wrong with my graphics card . Thank you.

View 7 Replies View RelatedHad a frustrating afternoon trying to get my triple-monitor setup going again; I had WinXP for years with two video cards: a single, simple VGA / PCI card, and a recent Radeon HD 4670 card with two outputs. Under XP everything was recognized without incident, first repeating all three monitors and then able to extend windows to this monitor under Display Preferences.
Now under Windows 7 RC, I did a fresh install with both cards inserted, and only the single VGA card would drive its monitor. The HD 4670 drivers are listed in the Device Manager, I removed and installed the ATI 9.9 version software several times, and the single VGA output is the only thing I get. I even tried the 'F8', selected the unsigned drivers, and still it didn't bring the Radeon to life.
I pulled the single VGA card out, and bam the two monitors off the Radeon come alive. I install the CCC and it works just fine. And then I shutdown, add the VGA card back, and get the single VGA output again.
My graphic card is the lowest score for my WEI and I'd like to make it a little higher. I have a 305w power supply so I'm not sure what card/s I could run before needing to upgrade my power supply.
Right now I have a Radeon X600 graphic card in my computer. I don't know much about it or any of the better cards out there.
I currently have a VGA and a DVI monitor. In the future (hopefully near) I would like to get a LCD TV and use HDMI. I don't need a VGA port as I have a supply of various connectors/adapters/cords to get VGA.
I can´t find de hardware ID of my graphic card (ATI readon 9200 series). The sistem no recognaize the graphic card. It's impossible catch de ID strings. It was the last oportunity to make windows seven recognize the graphic card. Any solution?

I've tried reinstalling the drivers several times using several different versions of the driver (win7beta, vista32, mobilitymodded, unmobilitymodded).
Whenever I try starting up with the card enabled, the screen goes blank. After reinstalling the driver, everything but the wallpaper goes away. Can anyone help?
