I'm having trouble with CS 1.6 . The game would only run in Software Mode and whenever I try to run it in OpenGL this error message appears:The specified video mode is not supported. The game will now run in Software Mode..Mobile Intel(R) 945 Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation Pre-release VDDM1.0) is what I have. I think that maybe the problem could be that it's a Microsoft prerelease driver version or somewhat. I've tried checking on Intel's website but I've only seen either Intel 945GM or Intel 945GMS or something like that.
I need to know how to enable my accelerated gpu drivers through Command prompt in safe mode. Please don't tell me that there's no such thing, or that Safe mode is for core drivers only... Blah blah blah. I have already enabled my sound card drivers, and Windows installer, so I know it's possible to enable my graphics card with command prompt. The reason I need to do this, is to run certain programs that require OpenGL in Safe Mode. My computer's hard drive is dying, so it doesn't run in normal mode, only Safe mode. I don't plan on replacing this computer too soon, so to have my everyday usage, I need the command.
Driver windows 7 x64 opengl for onboard video card. how can i make CS 1.6 work if i don't have a video card...i have a Gigabyte motherboard G31 series.
The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the Windows Time-Out limit and is unable to continueError code: 7I keep crashing, is thereI tried the W7 fix, that did not work. I installed older drivers, after installing the newest ones[CODE]
I have a computer with pentium 4 processor. I upgraded my OS to windows 7. Now I cannot install the drivers. Can't play games it says open GL is required. Cant hear sound. What should I do??
windows7 has dx11 installed which can run directx9 games too because it's backwards compatible, but the problem is that due to better looking graphics in dx11 supporting games,dx11 decreases my fps also(just an hd 5670)...how run them in dx9 mode so that i don't lose performance?
when i start some games or whatch movies on Internet my computer shuts down and it says sleep mode on the screnn if i restart the computer once iit says no video inpt and if i restart it twice then it works like normal until i do one of these things
I tried compatibility mode. I tried turning on data execution prevention with that game. I don't want to play it with virtual os like vmware. Is there anyway to play this game on windows 7. Its la street racing and made 2007 and other older games
I have really bad lag when running any application that requires full screen mode. I've got the latest AMD drivers that supports my GFX card (Asus Radeon 4850). I used to have a Nvidia card and I would just change one of the settings to get rid of the lag. I changed the Graphics card and reformatted the computer so it shouldn't be a driver issue. I have Service Pack 1 and all the updates for Windows installed. The lag is unbearable for games, so I can't play any games that require full screen, no issues when it's run in windowed mode. I've used FPS monitors while running games (Fraps and MSI afterburner) and the frame rates readings are normal (above 60 always) but it always looks like 20-ish no matter which game I play.
For videos there's always some kind of problem. Used various media players, and different browsers for flash videos but sometime the video skips to the end very quickly, or won't continue playing and halts immediately somewhere along the way. Used MSI Kombustor to stress out the GPU, and it maxes at 70 at 100% load. Directx 10 stress test seems to be blurry, every other test seems fine to run but would have the lag from being in full screen.
I have discovered that the XP mode under windows 7 does not support the use of game controls becasue they are HID devices. Would love to play these old flight simulator games again without having to format another drive into XP.
So basically I'm trying to see if my netbook can play a certain game.
I've installed and ran it. on the firs run it gave an error that it could not detect hardware configuration, and it needed a gpu with generic opengl 1.4 drivers. the gma500 is capable of opengl 2.0.
when i am playing Cs zero the video quality is very bad,it seems that i am playing game of 2 bit.i have just installed windows 7 on my dell inspiron 1525
I am having trouble getting openGL to work in cs 1.6. It works in d3d and software but I need it to run in openGL. I am using a laptop asus n53s in device manager it says 2 display adapters.
Intel HD graphics family and NVidia Geforce GT 540m

I want to play BulletStorm, i'm playing like 2 min and it's minimizing the game all the time (I get back to the game and it's still minimizing). In Battle Field Bad Company 2 it just changing the game to window mode (I know it because suddenly I can see the bar where's the start/clock and name bar where's the game's name shown + I need to click the game window to go back to Full Window mode ( I can't play when it's window mode I have to click it)In the Google Chrome/Firefox I can see it when I type (like now) the flickering line of typing disappear suddenly and I need to click the browser again to see it and obviously writing again.
I need a driver for an LG 32LG5700 LCD TV. Its easy enough to get Windows in the correct resolution, but if I load an older game (Civ 3 on Steam, for example), it switches the display to over 60Hz and the TV can't display it.
Is there a driver, or a way to limit the refresh rate to 60Hz?
quite recently, i noticed that there were little black box flickering in my games. gpu is an ati 4870 hd 512 mb. i did not overclock this gpu. first, it came when i got myself shogun 2 total war, and then in all my other games that i played after that. it flickers on for a split second and off and keeps coming back. i did notice though that when i alt-tabbed for a few seconds, and then came back, it took a little while before they came back.also, this has nothing to do with heating because the max temp that my gpu will ever hit is 50c and on idle it's 38c with a accelero heatsink.i thought this had something to do with the latest 11.6 update i installed, so i uninstalled and driver-sweeped my ati driver and installed 11.5, but no luck!
along with that, i noticed that on Internet, when i went into full screen mode, the screen would be black but playing but then flash on and continue the video from where it flashed on. also, when i got out of the Internet full screen, the video would be playing but the image on the video would be what i saw before i went into full screen for a few seconds.i tried reinstalling flash in chrome, but to no avail.
The autostart function is not working properly. When introduced a CD Rom into the drive, it has all the autostart functions for movies, pics, documents, but instead of starting the games directly, It allways ask me to open the file, movies or pics, but the game never starts automatically as It used to do in the past Windows versions, and in Windows 7 BEFORE SP1. It's imposible to play games that require the insertion of the disc into the CD Rom Drive, for the same reason.Im running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and have a LG Super Multi RwDVD +R DL Light scribe multirecorder.
