Photos Attachments To Mail
Aug 4, 2009Do you know how do I attach more than one photo to my message in one go?
I can't seem to attach more than one photo at a time.
What should I do?
it is also limiting me to 50 photos per one mail.

When I send a mail all the pictures are embedded in the mail when I only want them to be attachments. Problem is greater in that the pictures fill the whole mail making them difficult to see anyway. I either need the pictures removed from the text or made about half the size.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am sending emails to Iraq and my friend has been unable to open them. He has not had this problem before. He is using gmail. I have been able to open his but only 1/2 the message is coming through and I can't open his photos. We have been trying to work it out to no avail. Is it possible that Windows Mail may have anything to do with this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI would like to be able to attach photos to my hotmail email message like I formerly was able. by clicking on attach and pulling down "photo" from the choices. photo or file. This resulted in a box with thumbnail images of the photos in a folder I had chosen. My option now available in hotmail simply allows me to browse for a file to download, so if I want to attach 10 photos I have to choose each separately and the download is very much slower than it was with the other arrangement.
I looked on another desktop computer I have and I'm guessing I need download Microsoft Photo Upload Control on my laptop (Windows Vista). My desktop uses Windows XP. However, my laptop used to work fine with how I like to attach photos. I don't know if I updated some software that made the difference or what. I recently started using Mozilla Firefox, also. I can't remember if the photo attachment problem existed before Firefox was used or not.
My laptop broke. It no longer has any power to it...without spending money to confirm, I believe the motherboard is bad and all is lost. I know I can get an external HD to retrieve my photos & files from the computer buit what about my Windows Mail? I had 200-300 emails on it (and no, I didn't save a copy on the server 'cause I didn't know better). Do I understand correctly that there is no way for me to forward them into Windows Mail on my new computer?
View 9 Replies View RelatedFor the last couple of weeks when I receive mail with attached pdf files, if I try to move or delete the mail Windows Mail hangs. Sometime it recovers but otherwise I need to kill it. I can open the attachment by clicking on the paper clip etc and everything seems fine so I don't think it's a security thing.
View 9 Replies View RelatedStarting about 2 weeks ago, I can't open attachments in Windows Mail. Message says "command failed to execute" I have been reading the posts and still don't know what to do. How do I know if IE8 has been installed as an update? I'm inexperienced with technical stuff. I don't think I installed it, could it have installed on it's own as an update? Tried saving them to desktop but don't know how to separate them from the e-mail, so they still don't open.

Lately I have found that my Videos sent as attachments in my Windows Mail on Vista are failing to open when I double click. What occurs is that they play, but in the backround with the original e-mail still in view. To see the attachment video I have to click on the icon (i have now on the taskbar) to view the video playing. The previous video attachments, those, which I had save on hard drive are also doing the same if I want to view them. This has just began, for before, once I double clicked I could view them right away.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm running Vista, and I've recently ran into a problem. I've always normally been able to open up my attachments that are videos by the usual double click, a futher window pops up to Open, indicating that it'll open up using Windows Media Player, I clicked on Open and it would begin. Now when I do the aforementioned and the window comes up and I click on open, it begins playing, however to view it I have to click on the icon Windows Media Player before the actual e-mail will disappear and the video is able to be viewed. Why would this have just occurred, has it something maybe due to their recent updates etc.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have opened an attachment (word doc) from an e-mail, worked on it in Word (2007), and saved it. I then forward the e-mail and before sending it, open the attachment to check it, only to find that he changes I made are not there. Where does Mail/Word save the copy of the attachment I saved? Does Vista have temporary folders that it saves these files to similar to XP and, if so, where can I find these?

View 7 Replies View Relatedmy dodgy mail issue is back. Any HTML emails sent to me from Outlook appear as plain text and attachments are missing. I know for a fact that the gateway server they go through does NOT turn them into RTF or anything... It was all working fine and then it stopped. I am beginning to assume it's a problem intermittently caused by Norton AV (360 v3.0 I'm running). I have disabled email scanning but no dice.
View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently bought a Dell Inspiron laptop from Future Shop and having a
couple of challenges:
1. Regarding standard text signature at the end of an e-mail: I set up
going through tools, options, signature and want it to appear at the end
of each originally created e-mail and the end of each reply or
forward...in Arial and font size of 10. Works fine when I create an
e-mail, but for a reply or a forward appears as Times New Roman.
Anything I can do to ensure always shows as Arial?
2. Regarding attachments received with an e-mail: often unable to open
when I click on. Someone suggested saving the attachment to the desk top
and then opening...generally works but a pain to save. Someone suggested
the problem is that I don't have full Microsoft Office suite on the
laptop just what came with it-Microsoft Works. Attachements being sent
are not unusual...generally Word, Excel, PDF or PowerPoint. Any
suggestion so that I don't have to save to desktop?
3. Last question...laptop came with a webcam, the workings of which I
am new to. Doesn't always open/work when I click on its icon...window
opens and says " please plug in a supported webcam". Sometimes when I
unplug from internet and reboot computer the webcam works.

ALL email attachments are blocked. I made sure the -Do not allow attachments-.... is unchecked in the Security tab. I'm running AVG Anti-Virus and checked those settings as well. I do see the paper clip indicating an attachment in mmy Inbox but when I opent he email there is no attachment.

View 9 Replies View RelatedJust configured Windows Mail on my new laptop, and I can send and receive messages okay, but I cannot receive attachments. There isn't even any indication that the attachment was blocked; it's just not there. Also, I cannot receive HTML formatted e-mails (I get a news headline service); I can just see the hyperlinks. I have unchecked (cleared) the box that blocks .exe files, etc, but I'm only trying to send Word docs (to myself at this point to see if everything is working).
