when opening Windows Live Mail on my laptop it started diectly receiving mail. a few days ago, I noticed that i couldn't send and receive anymore. Windows Live mail is trying to connect.... constantly. After 60 seconds a little window appears with: The server SMTP did't react for 60 seconds. Do you want to wait for teh server another 60 seconds?

setting up windows mail on new hard drive and can't seem to figure out how to get it right. I am using a live.com email adress. I have already tried getting rid of antivirus stuff and fiddling around with security things. My old computer is connected as a small network. When the problem initially occurred on 7th June it said "Receiving 1 of 8" but never did and after a while (1/2 to 1 hr?) June the first I thought? Why June 1st? I asked on the forum but they could not explain why.

None of them will complete without errors and I can't send or receive emails in outlook. I realize I have to have correct user and passwords and those I have.
