Leaked: First Office 14 Screenshots

Jan 15, 2009

It didn't take long this time, either. Earlier this week, testers received alpha builds of Office 14, the codename for the successor to Office 2007. One tester from Russian site wzor.net has now leaked the screenshots of the applications included in the productivity suite. While he didn't screenshot every application individually, we do now know that the list includes: Access 14, Excel 14, Groove 14, InfoPath Designer 14, InfoPath Filler 14, InterConnect 14, OneNote 14, Outlook 14, PowerPoint 14, Project 14, Publisher 14, SharePoint Designer 14, Visio 14, and Word 14. Aug 10, 2009

I installed the HD Realtek Driver (rebooted) and went to set it as Default, but can't find it. It's definitely installed... see... So, I went to CP > Sounds > Recording .. and made sure to look for Hidden Devices.. so I could set it as Default. Not there! Remember (way back when), when it used to look like this?? This is what I'm trying to do in Vista.....

Uninstall Folders Located?

Jul 22, 2008

under XP I always deleted the $uninstall. folders under c:windows after a couple of reboots to save some disk space. I don't seem to find those folders under Vista. I've googled, but no results. I made a custom light version of Vista via vLite, and after installing all of my soft (and that's not that many) there's still 17GB taken on my OS partition. Not that my 500GB harddrive is that cramped for the moment, but it's a matter of principle.

Is The Vista Ultimate User Account Passwords Located In A Different Place As Compared To Other Versions Of Vista

May 27, 2010

A friend of mine has been locked out of his Dell laptop and cannot find the password for the single account that it has. The laptop has Vista Ultimate installed on it and I am unable to activate the hidden administrator's account to get into Vista. Other investigations using other software shows only 2 accounts, Administrator and Guest but not the actual user single account that shows up onto the login screen. ( I have managed to blank out the Administrator and Guest passwords ) I have a standard Vista Recovery Disk , but I am unable to either repair or re-install Vista from the Dell hidden partition , and the only alternative is to install a unused retail version of Vista Home Premium that my friend has been given awhile ago. I have 2 questions

1) Is the Vista Ultimate user account passwords located in a different place as compared to other versions of Vista?

2) if I install this retail version of Home Premium on the Dell laptop, will I have problems with the propriety hardware that is on the Dell laptop and would I need to find all the Dell drivers for the laptop?
