Oct 22, 2013I'm running windows 8 pro x64intel i5 2400 @3.10 ghz ram 8gb
First i tried installing via store, but there's an error.. we can't connect to the internet right now so i tried downloading the iso version via (upgrade with a product key) made a bootable usb out of it.
Inserted the usb into a USB 3.0 hub while win 8 is running proceeds with the upgrade then after the setup restarts and says "Setting up" i get error 0x101 0x30018 searching the net i found some solution like update amd graphics driver, disable lan etc via bios, update your bios did all that... still same
Next: tried uninstalling tuneup utilities inserted the USB installer to a USB 2.0 Hub Somehow i got past to the stage "applying settings 99%" then 100% restarting and now i got the ....restoring to previous version ...

Nov 24, 2013I have installed windows 8.1 enterprise x64 in my Hp Envy m6-1102sa and i installed all my programs, when I was installing Eset Smart Security v 7 and i restarted system. I got a blue screen on it (kernel auto boot invalid lock release) 0% since 5 hours.
I have restarted many times, no way except system restore and lose my all programs, this is the second time...

Mar 21, 2014I have faced BSOD it says KERNEL_APC_during bla bla while booting into windows. i don't know what's the cause of this because it hapenned randomly (I mean sometimes I can go boot to desktop, and sometimes I faced the BSOD). I assume that maybe my realtekk driver is the problem .

Mar 15, 2014I have started having BSODs since last week. They seemingly seem to occur at random after using my computer around an hour. My computer is 2 years old, and I have never had problems with it, nor have I made any changes in the last weeks.
I have run chkdsk on both my drives, and they do not have any problems. I have also run a memorycheck (3 runs) and everything seems to be fine there as well.
After the first BSOD last week, my computer did not want to start up anymore, since for some reason my SSD was not the designated boot drive anymore. After changing this back it starts though, only to crash after a while again.
I have used the SF Debug tools, since my computer for some reason does not create dumpfiles in the designated folder.

Sep 15, 2014I keep getting blue screen all the time, its so frustrating, ive reinstalled for 2nc time now and this error doesnt go away. I dont know what to do, i dont know if it is a hardware problem or a software problem, ive run RAM and HDD tests and passed both. And everytime i get blue screen,the bios reverts to some old settings ive had.

Sep 15, 2014I've bought this computer before 1 month and started to having problems with BSODS when it had windows 7. It was IRQL not less or equal errors and so on. I thought it was hard drive problem with bad sectors.
What I did was completely format the hard drive (low level format), Installed Windows 8.1 with graphic drivers (other drivers were already included) and started getting kernel security check BSOD errors.

Feb 1, 2014I've been working on my mothers laptop and she has a HP Pavilion G6-1C51NR. She told me her laptop was a bit slow, so I decide to upgrade her to Win 8.1 from Win 7. I did a fresh install of Win 8 then updated to Win 8.1, now here is the weird part. Every time I boot the Laptop I get the Kernal Data Inpage Error once, then it restarts itself and it normally boots into the OS and I am able to use the laptop fine. This never happened when she had Win 7 on her laptop, and she had no viruses either. It started to happen ever since I installed Win 8 to her laptop, it happened on Win 8 and on 8.1. I have even re-installed the OS multiple times to see if it fixes it, but nope still has the issue.

Jun 4, 2014So a few nights ago I was on my computer. The power randomly went out in my neighborhood without warning despite the fact a storm wasn't present. I restart the computer and continue. Later that night I receive a BSOD Kernel System Check Failure and have to restart again. Now 3 days later, it does the same thing once a day. Except today was different. After my third blue screen I opened up chrome to research the matter when a message popped up to inform me that my chrome settings had become corrupted. This makes me worry that this has its roots in the bowels of my system's memory.
These are the files that windows suggested I send to microsoft:

Jul 9, 2014Since today my friend is being hit with some BSOD's containing the text: "Kernel Security Check Failure"
We have no idea where this all came from, my friend did not download some sketchy, unstable, downloads or something. We did some research and it apparently is an issue with drivers, That gets no bell ringing because his computer was running smoothly about half a year now, with no major changes like an OS upgrade. We have found that it's useful to read some dump files.
We found the dump file locator software on this forum and ran it on his computer, and the result you can find as attachments.

Apr 7, 2014Upgraded laptop from 8.0 to 8.1 couple weeks ago. Since then my system crashes every once in a while. Attached is the dmp file as requested.

Jul 10, 2014So for the past 8 days I've been getting BSOD's (Kernel Data Inpage Error) randomly about once a day, without any dumps or logs being created, despite the settings being right and WERS service running.
Two weeks ago my 2 year old SSD (Corsair Force GT) died. Bios would freeze at around 70% when trying to boot off it, other computers wouldn't recognize it, it was basically bricked (i suspect the controller, since I only had it for 2 years, and only used for OS). So I sent it back, and they ended up giving me a different model (Corsair Force GS).
I performed a fresh install of Windows 8.1 Pro x64 on the new SSD, and ever since then I've been having the BSOD's. At first I suspected a driver problem, but Windows says all drivers are up to date and there's another weird thing happening: after the BSOD, when restarts and tries to boot up again, the BIOS freezes at around 70% again (around the time when it communicates with the default boot device), and I have to manually shut it down (from the power button), and turn it back on again(this time it works fine, and writes the 'Event 41, Kernel Power' event to logs).
I suspect it's the SSD again, but I can't explain it. It's been driving me crazy for the past week, especially since I also use this laptop (Acer Aspire 5737z) for work.

Jun 7, 2014I built my current system about a month ago. Since then, I've had numerous BSODs, some caused by my graphics card driver. I updated the driver and the BSODs became less frequent. However, I still get them regularly, usually when waking the computer from sleep mode. I've had a couple at random times as well. I've tried to figure out (using WhoCrashed and WinDbg) what was causing these issues but to no avail. I ran Driver Verifier with all the drivers checked and have not gotten any BSODs from it. I have not yet run a Memtest since WhoCrashed said that the BSODs were not likely to be caused by hardware issues.

Sep 15, 2014About 2 months back i had a new pc build. Since then, either 2 things would happen. My computer screen will complete freeze, with a buzzing sound and i would have to manually restart or i would get a BDOS with a buzzing sound and the computer auto restarts. These crashes are completely random, sometimes it would happen couple times a day, sometimes i can go a week without one. i also notice about almost all of these happens when im gaming. and everytime i look at the event log, its always the same Kernel-Power 41.

Jul 27, 2014I keep getting blue screens and the last one said Kernel security check failure. I'm not sure if the other failures were with the same error but I would assume they were. The laptop crashes while getting shut down, during several hours of use and today when I turned it on it failed straight away. I hope I've correctly posted the zip file.

I'm getting Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error on almost every first startup. In addition, I often get a Page Fault in Unpaged Area BSOD when gaming (primarily Max Payne 3) - dxgmms1.sys has been referenced on more than one of these occasions.
