I am using Windows 8. Is there a way that I can make a shortcut for Chrome that will open multiple URL's at once? I know how to make one that will open a single URL, but is there a way to open several? For example, can I make a shortcut on my desktop that will open google.com, facebook.com and twitter.com all at once.

The Photo Album option still exists but where has the Single Photo option gone?
I need this because I insert a lot of photos in my emails.....
Is it possible to have multiple outlook accounts come through your mail application on Windows 8.1? I can't seem to make it happen. It will only display the messages from the Microsoft account I am signed into. For example: On my iPhone I have 3 different outlook accounts linked in my mail app to come to my phone.

Anyway, I have a real bugbear with the mail app. e.g. I receive an email with an attachment, I click on attachment to open it, it opens in desktop (why?), once attachment has been read/filed or whatever and I close/delete it I'm stranded on the desktop (again why?), I then have to go through several button pushes (start/Mail app/mail account/open email) just to get back to where I was when I opened the email originally.
Surely there must be a simpler solution, am I missing something, is there a way to set it up so that when the attachment is closed it takes you straight back to where you were in the mail app?
Or is this just one of those Windows8 'quirks'......
Every time I click on a browser it can take anywhere from 5-30 seconds or more to open now.Before you ask my computer is a gaming rig and has WELL beyond any normal hardware. When I click the browser icons on the task bar they light up like they normally do when they open. But after a few seconds they slowly fade away like they were closed.
But then after a sporadic number of seconds they open. No other program on my PC does. My PC boots pretty damn fast and everything else opens smooth as butter.I defrag and optimize it once a week and I clean it daily.
1) Why the resolution is so bad.
2) Not sure why there is a censor bar the first few seconds.
I've configured multiple accounts in the Windows 8.1 Mail App.
I haven't found a way to rearrange the order that the accounts are listed in the bottom left corner of the mail app window.
I have used Google Chrome browser for years. Suddenly, it crashed. I uninstalled and reinstalled. No luck. Uninstalled with RevoUnistaller and deleted registry entries and leftover files. Reinstalled several times. No luck. IE, Firefox, etc. all work fine. Have 64bit computer with Windows 8.1 fully updated. Tried stable versions, beta, etc. Crashed when I try to open.

I'm trying to remove/delete the " Chrome app launcher ".
Iv'e goggled it and have tried everything that I've read about deleting the app launcher,but with no joy ,its still there.
Gone to chrome flags disabled app launcher its still there

I realize that when I click to download a file and get the "do you want to save or open this file" dialog, I can press "Alt+O" to open, or "Alt+S" to save.
But to reach "Save as" I have to click the down arrow.
Is there a shortcut key for "save as" ?
I have a HP Laptop Pavilion Windows 8. Recently I caught the Highlite App. I finally was able to remove it, after trying every malware and adware remover I could think of. After I finally got rid of it, and all of it's annoying pop ups, the laptop and browsers work great for about a day and then the internet started freezing and I will get a "Google Chrome (Not Responding). It will also do the same thing with IE and Mozilla, but Chrome seems to be the worst of the three. Sometimes it's so bad, it's not usable. I updated Flash Shock wave yesterday, but it hasn't seemed to work.
I'm on Mozilla now. I got lucky.
We bought a new computer for my granddaughter. Since non had Windows 7 on it, (which I know how to use). We had to buy one with Windows 8. Learning to find out how to remove All the ads and non needed programs has been an ongoing challenge. Right now she only wants to go to very few sites. but Ads along with false java download keep poping up on her browser even thou I tryed hunting down anything that might call them up
She has Mccaffee virus scan and regitpro (I think its called that , she is using pc at thistime so I cant check.)
Is there a way to block a url? These popups do not show up on my computer when I go to the same page as she is on. ITs like an online ad program it adds more ads to websites you visit that are not on the actual website.
I downloaded the latest Internet Explorer and now everything on the Start screen is opening on the desktop. How do I get them back to the Start screen?

Just now, I opened Firefox to do a Google search for somewhere, and - it shut down. When I reopened it, it opened on the page that had crashed. Google search.

View 4 Replies View RelatedGoogle Chrome opens fine when I've just started it. If I close it accidentally or forgot something and have to reopen it after I close it, it will not open. It's almost as if it isn't closing properly but when I check task manager it does not show it running. I have to wait 20 - 30 min. to open it again. I've reinstalled and it still does this. View 5 Replies View RelatedEver since I switch to windows 8.1, I usually get random black bars in chrome when i switch to other apps. The black bars goes away when I move my mouse over it. This doesn't happen on windows 8 or windows 7. I have HD 6970 gpu and the latest video card driver.
Also, I notice that in windows 7 and win 8, when i right click the chrome icon on the task bar, it would have options like new window and new incognito window, but in window 8.1 it's gone.
I am using windows 8 in virtual box and having problem in IE.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a Dell with Win 8 and touchscreen. It was fine for a couple days. A half hour ago when I started it again I am unable to send email using yahoo mail in either of my browsers. I can check email fine and if I click the email in the inbox I can read it fine. When I click the onscreen right or left arrow to go to next or previous email nothing happens. When I click compose I go to the draft screen and all is well until I click Send. Nothing happens. I can send fine through my hotmail account. I can't get it to work clicking on any of the other folders in yahoo mail either.
So, is this a temporary issue with yahoo or something I need to figure out about Win 8? I've been in Mac land for the last 3 years or so. Also, the touchpad is way too sensitive. I turned palm rejection to the highest setting but it still jumps all over and does things I don't want it to do.
