I just downloaded LightScribe on my Windows 7 32bit and everytime I put a disk in upside down for it to work the disk just keeps spinning like its trying to read it over and over and thats all it will do. How do I get it to stop this so I can use this program?
View 9 Replies View RelatedHas anyone had a problem loading the software for lightscribe. I have tried to install ver 1.17.90.1 but says that it is not compatable with this version of windows.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIn one of the other threads it was suggested that a solution was available. I have already send an E-mail to the Lightscribe team itself but no answer....
Can anybody help me, I have found part of the solution but am still unable to install the Lightscribe system software.
Help is extremely welcome, I would hate to have to go back to Vista because of this simple issue..
I just installed Windows7. Everything works great except lightscribe.
If i want to install LS-HSI driver from Lightscribe web I'm reciving this:
"The operating system is not
adequate for running LS_HSI"

I recently installed Windows 7 Professional 32 bit on my computer. I actually installed it clean, because I had Ultimate on it; unfortunately, the copy I obtained was not genuine, so I got a genuine Professional in its stead. This problem started in, but I figured when I got a genuine copy of Windows, it would be fixed. No such luck.n is pressed; I have to stick a paperclip in the manual eject hole. The Device Manager doesn't even show that a CD Drive is installed, neither does any other program. I tried editing the registry myself and deleting the "upper filters" line, or whatever it is, but that didn't work. I have been attempting to find drivers, tools, or anything else that could help with this, but nothing seems to be working. Here are the specs for my computer: Product Specifications HP Pavilion dv2945se Entertainment Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday I wanted to use my HP laptop with my TV so I connected it using an hdmi cable. Everything connected fine and I opened up my cyberlink youcam software to adjust the camera settings. I got up for a minute to do something and when I came back the computer had gone to the blue screen of death (displayed right on the tv screen). The error was SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. This is the first time this happened so im not sure what to think. According to the HP website all of my drivers are up to date so I don't think that would be the problem.
I attached the dmp file and screenshots of my system specifications.
I have a red x over the speaker icon and the message says audio service not running. my laptop is an acer

Now when I start the computer up it says "the user profile service service failed the login, user profile cannot be loaded". The computer starts up in safe mode and won't let me do a system restore because it says it is shut off. When I look at User Profiles in Windows 7, it states that the users profile is as backup and the default profile is the local profile. How can I fix my computer to get my user profile back up and working?

when i try to create a new user profile ~ with or without a password, it shows up on the main login page, but when i click on it to open, the message "UserProfileService_service failed the logon_user profile cannot be loaded". i have searched microsoft support with little solutions listed. and the ones that are listed seem too technical for me to be trying on my own. there are many posts there with this problem, but they all seem to be several years old.
i am using windows 7. i have never been able to create any accounts other than my administrator account & the one account i use for all my general computer use. i have been using norton 360 with no problems. i have resorted to just using any "log in/log out' links on all the sites my husband wants to use.i am really not all that confident doing anything super technical to fix this, since i don't have a real understanding of different extensions or types of files. i am afraid i could really mess everything up really bad. but, it would just be SO MUCH EASIER & FASTER if i had my account & my husband had his own account.
My wife's Dell desktop (after a nighttime thunderstorm) will not permit her to log on. When she enters the password she gets the following message: "The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded". Has anyone encountered this issue and is there a user fix, or should we take the computer back to where it was bought for service?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a new computer about 7 months ago and it ran very well. I was extremely happy with it. Especially how quickly it would boot up. I eventually noticed, however, that the start up of my pc was getting extremely slow. I opened the event viewer and noticed that at the time of my computers startup, the superfetch service wouldnt be able to start. It said: The Superfetch service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. After doing quite a bit of research, i ran a hdd integrity test through the command prompt, emptied the prefetch cache. and even upgraded and re-installed the operating system. The service superfetch still fails to start. Occasionally, it did however start after i emptied the prefetch cache and my computer instantly, started up very fast. Like new again. But the next time i booted up my pc, it failed to start again. I want the service to be reliable and start every time.
View 2 Replies View RelatedService pack one refuses to install. My computers specifications are available in my profile. I had service pack one installed fine before but I was forced to do a clean install and now it won't install, I've also tried the standalone installer for the service pack. Auto update just doesn't download and standalone installer stops about halfway, around the area where it should ask to restart. Internet explorer 9 won't install either plus any other update from windows update.I'm using Comodo internet security but before I was using MSE and the problem still occurred then.

I've been getting notifications for Service pack 1 for the last 2 months, so about 2 weeks ago I decided to install the update. The first time of trying it didn't install and after 3 other attempt it still hasn't worked. The update runs and downloads all the components then restarts. As soon as the Laptop goes to boot up it says configuring. It then goes to 10% and stops and aborts. The Laptop restarts again and configures back to default setting and starts normally again with a box saying Service pack installation was unsuccessfully. After a bit of research I found out that I may need to install System Update Readiness Tool. This programme will not install on my pc either for some reason?.
