Driver Webcam Acer Aspire One D270-1824?
Dec 22, 2012Accidentally (and stupidly) deleted the acer web cam from the hard drive. Went to the acer site, but was having to go through a bunch of other stuff, it seemed, just to get my answer. Anyone know how I can retrieve it or find it and redownload?

Jun 11, 2012I recently purchased a new Acer D270 netbook and observed that its fan is continuously running. Although fan was not making any audible noise at all i thought of using Acer Aspire One Temperature Monitor and Fan Control software even though it mentioned to use the software at your own risk I installed it on my netbook.Now as soon as I ran it my fan speed increased 2 to 3 times the original speed. So, I uninstalled it and restarted my netbook. Now I am observing that even after uninstalling it my fan is running at a `faster speed(may be 1.5 times)` than when I had not installed it. why am I observing this behavior in fan speed and what can be done to reverse the effect of the software.

Sep 27, 2012I have recently purchased acer netbook d270 and for changing desktop background I have done several registry change. Due to which my netbook starts slowing and sometimes crash. I cant undo my registry change. As I don't know how. But the problem is now I don't want to undo the registry. I want to do factory reset. It doesn't have any recovery management neither alt + f10 at startup shows option for factory reset.

May 25, 2009I have an Acer Aspire 1800 that I installed Windows 7 RC onto. I was completely impressed with the ease of the installation and how it seemed to find a driver for everything on my laptop. Well almost everything. Apparently the Os can't find a driver for my wifi and the manufacturer doesn't seem to want to help.
Has anyone else used this particular laptop and ahd any luck? I hate that the only thing not having a driver in the Device Manager is the WiFi.

I have been able to find drivers for most of the hardware. The only ones I cannot locate are a Windows 7 x64 driver for both the Alps Touchpad and the Bison Crystal Eye webcam. I am an adventurous one, and have a solid backup, so I am going to try it anyway. I was just looking for any assistance in locating those two drivers.

Jun 20, 2010My sister just got a Acer Aspire One 5032H, which came with the crappy windows 7 starter on it, and all WAS working. I installed windows 7 ultimate, which I got through my company and have installed on over 6 computers before with no problems. After installing the new operating system, the wifi card (Atheros) does not find our home wifi network. The other computers in the house pick up the wifi fine. Ive installed the newest version of the driver several times and tried the uninstall stuff as well. Ive updated a few other drivers as well by plugging the computer into an Ethernet cable.The orange light is on under the wifi symbol (no sure if it should be blue), the computer says that the card is working properly, and that it is enabled.
