Whenever I add the Yahoo Toolbar to IE9, close the program and re-open it, the toolbar is gone. What can I do to prevent this? I also use the Google Toolbar with no problem. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 with 4gb RAM.

Firefox seems strange i don't know why also Can't install Yahoo! Toolbar because yahoo toolbar website can't recognize windows 7
also when playing any movie wit .srt subtitle files i can't see subtitles at the movie i tried K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and Shark VistaCodecs and still have the problem
also where is the Quick Launch or it's replaced by Pin Icons to Taskbar
can't run Gadgets also and don't know why ??!!
My Yahoo home page and related yahoo pages won't display ads, does anyone know how to fix this. I have uninstalled IE8 reinstalled it, restored advanced settings and reset internet explorer it worked for a short while after i did this now its playing up again.I get the usual diagnose internet connection and of course ther is nothing wrong with it. I forgot to say its windows 7 pro I am running, I would update to IE9 but I hate it if only they kept the layout the same as IE8
View 4 Replies View Relatedi unable to signin my yahoo messenger, skype and even cannot load to yahoo mail website. but i still can surf other website normally. i noticed that some of the page that required password are unable to load. the will be an error that ask to check the intrnet conection. im using LAN connection. i tried to login yahoo mail, and signin skype and ym by using my friends pc in my home and i can login/singin without any trouble. we using the same internet connction.i already reformat my laptop cause i thought there is laptop problem. but there is still no luck. same problem still occur. i scaned my lappy with updated antvrus (btdefender) but no virus detected. i also tried unable the firewall in my system but no changed.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI changed via the dialog the TEXT SIZE via the screen resolution in the control panel to CUSTOM SIZE.With one of the newer "Cinema" or Very Wide screen (1680 X 900) displays after I'd increased the text size to over 160 % I didn't get the possibility to SAVE any documents any more via the SAVE AS button. The SAVE dialog would appear but the SAVE button was missing.The effect was noticed in Office 2007 (all programs) Notepad etc etc.Seems to be a Windows fault as this should not be allowed to happen.on more traditional "Squarer" type monitors -- no problem.

It makes no sense to default to a single folder and have to browse through to the desired folder for every single download, so I assume there has to be an option somewhere.

I had entered the proxy address a few times and have read on the web that this is server address. Can someone please let me know if this is normal or should i be concerned because i didn't change any of my yahoo settings.

I have been googling it and no one seems able to get rid of it. You just keep getting pop ups of new people all the time and I cannot find anywhere to stop it. View 1 Replies View RelatedI had had the Firefox browser and never had a problem copying and pasting a previously written e-mail in Yahoo Mail in a New Message. Now, however, since I ditched the Firefox browser and downloaded IE 9.0 (which does seems to be much faster in every respect), when I copy a previously written e-mail and paste that message into a new e-mail, all the HTML with color text and everything is gone! It seems like IE doesn't like to be copied in Yahoo Mail. It's a "bear" for me, for in my business it's necessary for me to write a letter using the same information I had typed previousy, and it's been a tremendous time saver to just copy and paste it. Now, I can't. Has anyone else experienced this same problem ???

I changed password for the new account ... now when I clicked on my Yahoo acct. profile I was said "You are FORBIDDEN to access this page". What the Hell is going on? I was on online support chat with ATT yesterday, ge a pw in the sub-account, and I think after that I got that "Forbidden" message. I found out after I quit the session.Aghhh......Problem #2 - I can not log in Yahoo Messenger any more. I entered a new password and the same User ID (was not changed) but it's dead to me. Editing to say, I am not sure if these 2 problems are connected or not. Messenger says that Yahoo server is not responsive, or something like that, about the server.

I have IE8, Firefox's latest and Safari and none of these browsers will allow me to access my Yahoo email, except in "classic." I spent several hours on the phone with Sony (I have a Vaio and the Windows 7 upgrade was free), and they couldn't understand why this was happeneing in each of the browsers. I sent an email to Yahoo, but I haven't heard back from them. The tech I talked to at Sony said that quite a few people had called in with the Yahoo issue. Any thoughts?
