View 2 Replies View RelatedSuddenly Windows Live Mail has gone erratic in saving emails in Sent Items. Problem just cropped up in the last few days. The option to save-in-Sent is checked.
Doing several tests of a series of three emails sent to the same address, it generally does not save the first one but DOES save the subsequent emails. Have run this test several times with the same result. For some reason, it skips the first one sent to an particular address but then saves others sent immediately. However, after an interval of time, another new message to that same address will not be saved the first time it's sent.
The messages are being sent -- I have received those that I sent to myself (to another account) and friends tell me they have received messages that I know were not saved to Sent Items. No changes were made to Windows Live Settings prior to this problem arising. It was working fine a week ago.

View 3 Replies View RelatedUntil last week I used the operatating system windows Vista and accessed my e-mails via outlook express. I transfered a copy of my e-mails onto an external hard drive (saved as EML files). I had my computer cleared up and Windows 7 installed instead. Is there anyway that I can now put the e-mail files into the windows 7 Outlook so I can read them. I can only open the eml files in notepad at the moment which isn't very good. I have managed to import my contacts into windows outlook but I cannot import the e-mails.

It doesn't stay on the outbox, it stays on the sent items. All the recipients doest receive the mail. And i'm having <rx> Mail queued for delivery. on outlook log.I tried it with another computer with same setup, same email account, same email, same recipients and number of recipients. 1 BCC entry went through and was received ok and i was also able to send with 3 or more BCC entry and email was received properly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI try to print an email from outlook, and it just goes into a wait loop. The circle spins, and the title bar says outlook is "not responding" - I'll say! I've tried copying the e-mail and pasting it into Word. That works, but when I try to print, I get the same "not responding" situation. I've tried this with a couple of different e-mails, but the problem is the same. This is a new failure in Outllok (and Word). The only thing I've tried is rebooting my PC which didn't help. I would use the Office self-fix, but I can't find it in the 2010 edition.
