Windows 7 :: Drivers For Hp Printer 895 Cxi And Scaner Mustek 1200ub Plus?

I use Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. My problem is: Whenever I try to print something (word, pdf, or any other file); printer spooler stops working and when I check the Devices and Printers all the printer drivers seem to be disappeared. I checked the Print Spooler" in the Services tool; and set the "Recovery after subsequent failures" option to Restart the Service�. Therefore all the printer drives coma back after 1 minute. However the spooler stops immediately again when the uncompleted printing job starts; hence I can not print anything more than a page. Earlier in this forum, someone posted that Microsoft issued a hotfix for this problem ( hotfix 2388142) which can be downloaded from article: [URL]. I downloaded this hotfix and tried to install, however it gives an error message of: The update is not applicable to your computer� and quits installation. I did uninstall and reinstall all the printer drives, but this did not help either.

Is there a windows 7 driver for mustek 1200 cp scanner ?

Download the newest XP drivers from this german site:

http://www.mustek.de/eng_/html/treiber/scanner_scanmagic_usb.htm

You will need the SN ofyour scanner (it is on the scanner).

Get the one file instalation.

You will not be able to install the drivers but you can trick them to work.

The procedure is simple:

Do not plug in the scanner, start up the

Empty your systemrootwindows emp folder

Srart the instalation and when it asks "Select Language" stop there. Then copy the all contents (files and folders) of WindowsTemp to another folder (e.g. systemroot1)

Then plug in the scanner and windows should be able to find the drivers there if not guide it to that location and let it install Mustek Twain drivers.

Enjoy your scanner.
