i am trying to download drivers for hp laserjet 1320 printers. i went to hp website and and when i try to download it, it tells me the file is not available. can someone help me to get this drivers for my windows 7 pc?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HP Laserjet 1320 connected to a Mac. I'm trying to get it working under Windows 7 x64, but HP seems to be playing with the Windows 7 drivers for this printer. Yesterday, there was a link for Windows 7 x64 drivers on this page: HP LaserJet 1320 Printer series*-* Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center But clicking on the link got you a "File not found" error.Today, there's no link at all.In the past, I was able to get this printer working with a generic Postscript driver (Apple Laserwriter 600 PS) under XP 64-bit. However, I've tried a couple of other basic Postscript drivers (Lexmark and HP), but can't seem to get the printer to print anything more complicated than a test page. When printing to the shared printer with a non-specific Postscript driver, the output just vanishes (except the test page, which came out OK with the Lexmark, but not HP driver).basic Postscript driver that will work with CUPS (the Mac printing system?) Or better yet, have a link to a 1320 Postscript driver? I'm pretty sure the PCL driver won't work with CUPS...I'm using the Bonjour printing software from Apple to find and setup the printer.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi can't get a HP LaserJet 1320 to work on Windows 7 64-bit. It is a printer connected to an XP machine on the network, when i add the printer, it says, that the driver can't be found on the network, then i can pick a driver from disk, but the 64-bit driver package, that HP offers on their page for this printer doesn't work.
There's also an install.exe in the package, but it just says Installing for too long and does nothing.
Have you encountered this issue?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased a Dell computer (vostro 1320), with Windows 7. Everything was working just fine, when I started to get those blue screens errors. I seeked help from Dell, which told me to install WinDbg, to find out the problem.
After analyzing what caused the error, this program pointed the error was in a driver from Dell touchpad.
I contacted Dell, which said the problem was in the software, which was conflicting with windows, and then they told me to format the pc.
I am very reluctant in doing so, mainly because the pc is brand new, and every time I formatted my old pc, it never was the same, and the old problems always returned.
So, my question is: is there another solution for my problem? Maybe an alternative driver, which can substitute the one from Dell and does not conflict with windows!
