i want to use a jig saw to cut out a window in the side of my phantom, the hole will be where the 230mm goes. i wont be able to get c chanel to fit because the angles are very abrupt, 90, 90, 45, and 135 degrees. the edges will be rounded, but not more than about 1/4-3/4 of an inch.
I have intel Pentium 4 631 cedar mill processor on my desktop, so is it possible that i can run new fresh installation of window 7 64 bit on it and be able to run it?
I bought window 7 home premium with Micro Center coupon. After I installed it on my main desktop, I got myself one more copy of Window 7 from digital river though my student account. I didn't know that these guy were giving away window7 professional for same price with home premium. Now I need to get professional install on my main desktop for XP mode and plan to upgrade my laptop with home premium I currently installed on my desktop.
I am just wondering if it could be possible to just swap the CD key to aviod reinstalling over my desktop. I talked to Microsoft tech and support said each key is tied to each DVD. So I can't just swap my Desktop key with digital river version and then install home premium in laptop.
I wanted to install Movie Maker but it comes packaged with Live something or other, and it includes Live Mail, the newest version. Now, I do not have Movie Maker, don't even ask! But I have a newer version of Live Mail which I dislike -- that ribbon! Can I uninstall the Live software and reinstall the old Live Mail? This install window that pops up is very annoying and if I click cancel it still loads Live Mail. I saw a similar case some time ago when I opened MSN Messenger.
I was using the drivers from AOC on my e234Fk LED monitor when i first purchased it 6 months ago, not sure what happened but windows 7 now is using the generic pnp monitor drivers from Microsoft dated 6/15/2006 and will not let me update to the latest drivers from AOC, i get "window encountered an error while installation".
I have a legal (semi) fresh install of Windows 7 and when I open this PNGfrom Wikipedia my computer plays games. Task manager reports that when I just open the image and don't edit it at all that it uses almost 400MB of RAM.
Copying the image to clipboard uses another 400MB in the same thread. The image is only 3MB. I had Windows ask for more RAM (4GB DDR3 1600) when I had the same image open twice and had copied the image from one Paint to the other. Paint works fine normally:
is there a way to turn my desktop into paint? as an example, i want to draw something or write a note, i can just pick my tablet and paint on wherever.
I have win 7 home, but xp in my work. I do a lot of screenshot and then paste them in paint to modify. I hate win xp paint and love win 7 paint. How can i get it for xp

In case you didn't already get the memo, Dream Machine 2011 is going to be unleashed on the world at the beginning of next week. We've given you some hints so far about what you'll find in this years rig, but we haven't given out any specific spoilers so far. Well, since you've all been so patient, we'll give you the first one right now: Dream Machine 2011 has an unbelievably kick-ass custom paint job. What's it look like? Who did it? You'll have to wait to find that out, but for now we're going to tease you with 30 amazing custom paint jobs we found around the web. One last thing: one of the paintshops whose work is featured in this gallery did Dream Machine 2011--can you guess which one?.
Recently Paint will no longer save any pictures I re-size. I can find no explanation and I have no idea how to go about fixing it. Would a simple re- install of the software work? If yes, where would I get it? I have looked but it is dreadfully confusing.
win 7 Paint just doesnt cut muster for editing. i need something that can edit .bmp pixels like XP Paint used to be able to do.(there's this lamp-post i could not avoid and would like to get rid of / old cracked picture needs the cracks doctored)Looking at an expired thread, both Paint.net and Gimp were mentioned.
I can't locate the executable for paint. I typed paint in search while in C: (system drive) with no success. Instead, it could find hundreds of files matching odd criteria, like if "paint" appeared in the name of the containing folder or in the file description, which is too advanced for a basic search.
And guess what -- the file with the actual name wasn't found. I checked in Organize > Folder and search options > Search > When searching non-indexed locations > Include system directories but in vain. It happened with files created by me as well. So, 2 questions arise, as simple as they can be:
1. How can I check the options to search for a file regular/hidden/system in regular/hidden/system directories? 2. Options for input words location: name/content (not interested in others), regardless of indexations (I don't want to change location indexations for these options to work).
I work with Paint Shop Pro and i have a lot of fonts. When i minimized them icant see it in the program. I only see a big blue A and i cant used the font
Whenever I search in Windows 7, I want to have the ability to open found folders in a new window. If I r-click, that option is not there. Is there a way to add this to Windows 7?
Also: When I go to 'open file location', the file's folder opens in the same window - highly annoying. In Vista, it opens in a new window. Anyway to change this behvior in Windows 7 to act like Vista, so the file opens in a new window?
I am running into an issue where I can open a window/program with my mouse however once the window is open I cannot click inside of it. The window becomes inactive. I also have noticed I cannot right click on my desktop to bring up the properties. I can right click on the window in the task bar to close it but not in the window. Since this is happening I am limited to command prompt. I ran sfc /scannow with no errors. I tried with 3 different mice. I booted the computer into safe mode with command prompt and brought up the device manager to show devices not in use, and when the device manager window opened I could click inside it! since I could use the window I uninstalled all mouse drivers, and reinstalled my microsoft wireless usb mouse driver.. while in this safe mode I changed my mouse properties to system default as I read somewhere that can reset things. Next I booted the computer in safe mode (without command prompt) and still the same thing. I was trying to do a restore point as well however my Kaspersky antivirus 2012 is preventing that as i cannot find a way to kill the program through command prompt.
I'm Running Windows 7(64bit)Each time I boot into Windows 7 Prem (64) a open window apears requesting my username at the top of the open window to specify a a program to open it?I've clicked on note pad and I get the following information that apears, each time though it requests, or looks for a program to use to open.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit .I have ticked in Folder Options to open windows in same window but it won't work, the windows are opening in new window!
I am installing Windows 7 (Custom installation initiated from Windows XP) but I get the following error message when the installation is on the "Installing updates" step of the installation:
"Setup cannot continue due to a corrupted installation file. Contact the vendor of your Windows installation disc or your system administrator for assistance."
Do you have any idea what the problem may be with the installation? Is there a way to see what file that may be corrupted?
I have tried to burn the DVD in low speed, but the error appears anyway. I have a MSI K8T Neo2-Fir mainboard and the Windows 7 upgrade advisor application says that my hardware is okay for upgrading.
