I have tried to install all ati catalst control software so that I can use my tv out. I am useing Windows 7 7100 this feature worked when I used Windows 7 beta but I keep get the error install package failure can any ont come up with a fix for this.
I have tried all methods of trying to install these drivers as admin from safe mode by deleting the drivers in compatability mode and nothing works. Tried with all ati drives upto 9.6.
I have recently ordered a powercolor hd3450 512mb agp.I have a am2nf3-vsta motherboard, wich has a nForce3 250 chipset.I currently have a ati radeon 9250 128mb agp, with no official drivers for windows 7, but I downloaded a modded version here a few moths ago.It didnt have acelerated 3d because of the nforce3 chipset + ati card + dual core processor (Athlon 64 x2 3800 2ghz), but I didn't mind.Yesterday I talked with a man that solved this compatibility issue, but he has a nvidia card.But I tried the same method as him, that was install nvidia gart drivers v5.10 for win xp 32bits(Its the year 2004 version) (the actual version is 5.11, year 2005)Now my 9250 works like before in win xp (Although in the device manager still says that my card is pci xD), and it has accelerated 3d textures.My question is, will this fix work with my future hd3450? Is there any new solution for the nf3 compatibility problem? I will have to install win xp?I havent paid the card yet, should I buy it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedOkay so, my laptop's system is unable to boot, so I just tried to format it since I have to do that for a very long time, and when it asked me in which partition I want to install windows there was nothing, although when I clicked "Load Driver" I could access the hard disk's files, the hard disk IS listed in the bios normally but windows does not recognize it, I tried using Kaspersky Rescue disk(the only CD I had along with the recovery disk)and when I used the File Manager, the hard disk still didn't show, are there any drivers I have to install?I have burned both fujitsu9that's my laptop) and Seagate's websites and can't find anything, I have searched forums but the only answers were "check if your hd is listen in bios".So, i IS listed in bios but I can't reinstall windows nor access it

I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely?

When I run the driver test on the nvidia website it says I need the Notebook Release 186 but the 9400 is not listed under supported devices. Again, I'm 99% sure that I need the GeForce/ION Driver Release 190 but I don't want to screw anything up.
A few days ago I did a clean install of Windows 7. Now I have a problem. The computer is a wireless 'client'. It has a Realtek RTL8168D/8111D PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20).
When I bring up Device Manager and expand 'Network adapters' I see "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller".
When I expand 'Other devices' I see "! Network Controller" (Note the exclamation point.) Double click on that and I see "The driver for this device is not installed. (Code 28). When I click on Update driver I get a message Can't find a driver. I have tried many times with different source folders and files and nowhere is a driver found.
I have gone to MSIs driver web page and downloaded the Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Driver for Windows 7 32/64 bit "realtek_pcielan_7_nb.zip", extracted the files and still no joy. (M/B is MSI G41M with Intel E7400)
There is a wireless icon in the tray. I click 'Open network and sharing center". No matter what I choose Windows 7 ends up telling me to plug in an Ethernet cable. No, this is a client not the server. I have verified that the NIC can connect to the computer with the Ethernet cable by using the old XP hard disk.
Any suggestions?
