Which Driver For Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Graphics Control
Feb 21, 2011
I have installed Windows 7 (32-bit) on a Samsung X20 laptop computer with a Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS,910GML Express graphics controller. Obviously there is no Windows 7 driver for this controller, so the standard VGA driver is installed instead. The Windows XP driver for the graphic card first installs under Windows 7 without any error messages, but when restart the machine the system tells me that it can't install the graphics driver. What is the best way of using the 915GM/GMS,910GML graphics controller under Windows 7 - stick with the standard VGA driver?
So I have Windows 7 in my computer, and I can't just use the Aero features (including the theme), because it says that my video card driver is not WDDM compatible.
My Video card driver is: Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family
Graphics memory: 128MB
Should I install one another driver? If so, which one? If I try to update, it says that I'm using the latest version of the driver and it's up to date. But it says that I can't use Aero because of my WDDM incompatibility. What should I do? I am REALLY tired and bored with the basic theme (light blue).
Guys, I think that there must be a solution because the Windows doesn't say I can't use Aero.
"The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Contact the manufacturer of your computer or video card for a WDDM-compatible driver".
basically I am unable to open the Intel control panel on my Alienware M14X R2. Whenever I try to open it I get the following error: GfxUI.exe - .NET Framework Initialisation Error Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application. So far I have tried uninstalling .NET framework and re-installing. Changing administrator rights to the appropriate files (now changed back to normal as this didn't work). Re-installing the intel drivers.I'm afraid I'm gonna have to re-install windows but before I do I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this issue?
Recently I bought a Notebook and I want to change my display settings. I got Intel HD Graphics Family installed on my computer. When I got to the system tray and hit the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel icon it should open the Control Panel window but nothing happens to me. I have read all the instructions that Intel has but nothing of these worked. Graphics — How to open the Intel Graphics Properties window
I recently got a new laptop: HP Pavilion dv6-6b12ed
I have a Control panel from Intel where I could change the colors of my screen and other stuff, but I can't get it to open! Here's my weird problem: It shows in the system tray but when I click it I see this: [URL]
When I try to click on it, or anywhere else, it disappears and the program won't open. I've even tried ALL methods in this following link: Graphics — How to open the Intel Graphics Properties window
I think the problem will be solved if I can re-install the driver, but I've no idea what to (un)install. If you need any additional info on my system specs, just ask me or look up my laptop specs.
A new Intel driver for GMA 500 graphics has been released for the Sony Vaio P with noticeable improvements in video viewing, Aero performance (enables 3D acceleration) and web browsing. I have been advised that it Works only under Vista and Windows 7, no XP.
Apparently you have to install under Windows 7, use compatibility mode and select Vista as OS. Can someone please guide me on how to install using compatibility mode ?
I've completed a new custom build, but have had problems with BSOD from the beginning with any installation of Intel Graphics drivers or the installation of any graphics card.
When I first completed the build, the XFX-7950 Black was installed. I booted to BIOS without issue, but when I inserted the Windows 7 (64 bit) it would boot through the windows logo screen but immediately BSOD right after going to the first install screen.
I removed the graphics card, and was able to complete the full Windows install without issue. I updated Windows and the drivers on the system but as soon as I installed the Intel 3000 Graphics driver, it would BSOD on every restart. I recovered back prior to the Graphics driver install and installed all other drivers. I updated the BIOS to the latest version.
I have reattempted the XFX 7950 multiple times in different slots, but with the same results. I also attempted my Radeon HD 4550 from my old computer but it gave the same results. It always boots through the Windows logo screen, but BSOD within a few seconds of reaching the password screen.
I broke down and installed Driver Whiz, which did detect multiple outdated drivers that I had not caught, but none of these fix the issues.
I've attached the requested zip. I don't think all BSOD's are showing up, as I've had to use recovery points after installed drivers didn't work. The last .dmp on 19 JUL was a Intel Graphics driver install attempt that I pulled off in safe mode before recovering back to the pre-driver point.

I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely?
Every 5-10 minutes my screen turns black, sort of flashes a bit, and then comes back on in different colours and the windows are all different sizes, but then it changes a bit and goes back to normal. Then I get a balloon message from the task bar saying "Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver for Windows Vista® stopped responding and has successfully recovered." (screenshot below) For some reason it says "for Windows Vista® but I am on Windows 7. When it has come back to normal again, Chrome goes all funny and the tabs won't switch. So if I try to switch tabs, the top thing is on the tab that I have switched to, but the main screen below stays on what the previous tab was. Also, sometimes the tab becomes unresponsive and I have to either restart Chrome or refresh the tab.
I've been having problems updating my Intel Graphics Media Accelerator driver, 8.15.10.2119. It is the version that prevents Win 7 SP1 from showing up in WU. I read a thread about this very issue from 2011, but the link provided to go to Intel to get the latest driver leads to nowhere. I cannot find a place to go to update the driver. I manually downloaded SP1 and installed it and it is working fine. My question is: do I still need to update the driver, and if so, where do I get it from? Neither HP nor Intel is any help here. And would this driver cause IE9 to crash? The computer came with IE8 on it, but I installed IE9 in Nov. 2011. Shortly after, I was getting a message like "Internet Explorer has stopped working". I uninstalled IE9 and went back to IE8, but I had the same problem there as well. IE8 worked fine until I upgraded to IE9. Then I uninstalled IE8 and changed to IE9, where I still have problems. I have contacted MS Support about this, and one option given was to reformat the hard drive, which I really don't want to do. They were concerned about the fact that SP1 was not offered and hinted that the computer would be more vulnerable to problems without it installed. My firewall and anti-virus have turned up nothing. I use Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security.
The Intel Accelerated Graphics Driver (Version 8.15.10.1930) is not working properly. I clicked for my computer to apply the fix but it keeps giving me the message to "make sure I'm connected to the internet and to try back later." I am connected to the internet but the fix just won't apply!I thought of removing the driver and then going onto Intel's website and reloading it however I'm afraid that if I uninstall it I'll have even more problems.
Anyone know where I can get the Intel 915G graphics controller driver for a Dell GX280 system? The driver for XP will not work. I am running Windows 7 Pro on the box.

I am using a Dual core system and windows 7 professional i am unable to install Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver it is showing " This computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software " .My System specs are:
1.Dual Core 2.Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit 3.500 Gb HDD 4. 4 Gb RAM 5. Nvidia Ge Force GT 520 1 Gb
I'm having trouble installing the drivers for a Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller in Windows 7 on a Gateway/Motion Computing M1300 tablet.
Before you say "DriverMax" please note that Windows 7 is the only operating system installed on the tablet. I hope there's another way to get it working.
Here's the thing that strikes me as odd: I have gotten it to work perfectly, but as soon as I restart it goes back to its old ways (default VGA controller driver, etc).
Here's what I do to get it working:
1) I run the setup file that came with the driver I downloaded from Intel (version 14.19.50), either natively or in Windows XP compatibility mode,
2) The setup software asks me to restart, and I comply
When the computer boots back up after those steps everything is working just fine, BUT then a Windows prompt appears telling me that I need to restart in order to complete the driver configuration. When I restart hardware once again has trouble.
My real problem with not having the correct driver installed is not that display functions are lost (though they are), but that the Hibernate and Stand By modes are disabled.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a way to keep Windows 7 from reverting to the old driver?
Everytime I use explorer on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, my screen turns black and then displays the the intel graphics accelerator drivers has stopped responding and has recovered. Im very frustrated with this as to it is really causing my pc to not work properly. Any input would be very helpful.
my system shows repeated blue-screens, restarting as many times, whenever you-tube gets opened systems gets stopped, ten often shows display drivers stopped responding and recovered successfully after a blink.
