has anyone tried to install windows7/8 using this mp3 player? I tried to google it but didn't find anything relating this topic. The idea came up suddenly when I thought about reinstalling the os.

I insert my movie via Insert > Movie > Movie From File. I found out that if I right-click and Preview the movie, it will play fine in my slide, however when running the slide show it will play only audio.Notes: It will play audio only either when asking it to start automatically or on click. It is listed as MS Compatible files (WMV). The movie is located on the PC locally in the same folder as the PPT. The movie plays fine in Windows Media Player. I've read through "Compatible multimedia file formats" and "My movie doesn't play" articles on MS website regarding version 2007.

It can either take a directory full of photos and videos and play them in a slideshow type loop, or can combine photos and video in a single file, movie, .exe, etc for playback on a computer connected to a TV for a trade show. I'd also prefer free, if possible.
We have a week long trade show coming up, and would like to put new photos and videos in a directory each night, and have the software start to play all of the content, like a slideshow, in a continuous loop. Then, each night, we could stop the software, update the content, then restart it...or replace the single movie file or exe with an updated one.
I installed Windows 7 in this old PC of mine, with 64MB GeForce2 MX 200/400..

I am running Office 2003 Pro. My husband deleted a few folders and long story short I had to reinstall Office to get it to work but I still get an error when I try to use clip art in any of the programs. It says:
Clip art cannot complete the operation
No such interface supported
Error code 0x080004002
I have compacted and run detect and repair but still no collections and I can't add any clip art to it. I have searched microsoft support but the only answer I found did not work and seemed to be for XP or earlier.
I would like it to fade in from black and fade out from black.I know I can split the clip and fade in the first half and fade out the second half but there is always a little 'skip' in audio where the split was made.

The security software on the laptop will not work because Windows 7 SP1 has not been installed on the laptop. I can't seem to download SP1 from Microsoft. The local office of Geek Squad diagnosed the problem being that there is a problem with Windows 7 and it will need to be re-installed. I would like to see if forum members agree or have a different diagnosis. Its going to take me quite a while to re-install windows 7 and I would like to get a second opinion before I devote that sort of time.

I didn't want to nuke it in case of an emergency. That was a good call because Win7 went bad. C: now runs fresh install of Win 7 64x Pro. I bring up the fact about Vista so you know this was not a native Win7 machine. After the OS re-install & a million window updates & reboots later I was left with some questions.-I have just some basic programs installed so far. My work Outlook (several gigs), office 2010, firefox, chrome, skype, teamviewer, iTunes (fresh install no music). I looked in C: in Computers & I'm using 59G of a 100 G HDD! Does that sound normal? I think I saw right after the Win7 install & all updates it was just over 40G used! Should Win7 & all needed updates amount to 40-50+ G of space? If not what have I done wrong?
-So far the system seems to be running fine. I'm just not sure if i have all the needed drivers for my laptop. I've noticed when I use the volume buttons no icon displays on the screen. It always showed up in Vista & the old Win7. That make me think I might be missing some drivers after the re-install. How can I find out if I have all the needed & up to date drivers?

52.6GB 'C' 0 6.75GB free
727GB 'D'
151GB 'E'
D and E have plenty of space on them.
To install windows on the new SSD lets call it 'F'.
I need to unplug the 1TB HDD, plug in the SSD and load from CD (I know how to install windows) Just install it, won't bother with partitions on it. I will now plug in the 1TB. Once installed I have to do all the driver updates (I'm sure I'll miss a few out somehow). Then programs etc and good to go.
What can I do with the 'C' drive on the 1TB? Should I just delete the partition? I only use up 45.85GB so far on my C drive, so should have 34GB to play around with.. maybe put like WoW on there which is 23GB I think. Then leave the rest free?

So I was wondering if there was away to get a genuine copy of Windows 7 onto a brand new laptop, without having to buy another copy of it from Amazon or somewhere. If I wiped the drive in the old laptop and then either clean install Windows 7 on the new laptop or use windows system image to transfer it to the new one.Would either of these methods leave me with a genuine copy of 7? My Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop's hard drive recently crashed. I have ordered a new 320GM hard drive and installed it, and I am trying to get Windows 7 Ultimate installed. After the initial installation, I saw that the video card was not getting the proper driver, so I downloaded what seemed to be the right one, and the problem that I am having is this: After Windows finishes installing and I log in for the first time, any updates or changes I make cause the "Startup Repair" Window appears, saying it will try to fix problems. It then either says the problems are fixed or can't be fixed, tells me to click "Finish" to shut down the computer, and no matter if the problem was fixed or not, the "Startup Repair" comes up automatically again. It i like I am in an endless loop. Also, it seems for some reason that Windows was installed in the D: partition, rather than on C: drive, even though I told the software to install it in the one large partition that was visible when installation began. The bottom line is, I seem to get Windows 7 installed fine, but as soon as I run Windows Update or try to install updated drivers, it ends up in this "Startup Repair" loop.
