While holding down the right click button on my mouse and moving it(at games such as wow,lineage) it gets sticky.I've tried holding down the right click button on the desktop as well and it periodically right clicks.I looked into the settings of my mouse without any luck.
View 2 Repliesi am having a very hard time getting my mouse to work.it keeps slowing way down, to a crawl or moves and then freezes for a second then jumps like an inch at a time, very frustrating.ive tryed 3 mouses, a corded and 2 cordless both microsoft, one a wireless moblie 6000 ive tried with and without the drivers, ive reinstalled windows 7 ultimate twice, i formatted and installed linux ubuntu 11...still it keeps sticking and freeezing. oh yah also, its not the batterys but thats exaclty what it feels like, dead or dying batterys.ive read a ton of forums already i think i have tried everything. [code] also i had another ati 4670 that i tried did not work, and i just got a brand new harddrive, still the same problem..i just installed windows 7 fresh now and before i did anything i waited for a half hour or so and i started up again,does anyone think its possible somethings wrong with the mother board or cpu? ive tryed each usb port all of them have the same problem eventually.

I consider myself simi-pro and have been competing in competitions locally on console for the past few years and want to go back to PC due to BF3 crapping out on me.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo, the problem is that when I play games (tested cod4 and cs 1.6) my mouse randomly skips. Its not often, if I wave my mouse right-left it happens like 1/7 times. It happens when I also press some buttons from the keyboard at the same time.
I've tried with two mouses, MS IE 3.0 and razer diamondback, both with windows 7 drivers and the result is the same.
Does anyone have same problems?
Changing usb-port did not help.

bought my pc a few days ago. After installing all the drivers I decided to play Splinter Cell Conviction and the graphics ran perfect on max settings with max AA and AF, except the mouse felt like it was delayed a quarter/half second. So basically it became impossible to aim. Decided to try Quake Live - exactly the same, but it got fixed after turning vertical sync off. Checked on world of warcraft, at some areas it's more, at some less intense, but it definitely is there.It feels like the cursor on the screen is delayed half/quarter a second compared to how I move the actual mouse.In world of warcraft there in an option in video settings 'reduce input lag'. When turned on everything is perfect, but fps drops from ~60 to ~40.It's the first time I use windows 7 x64 so I might have missed something, or maybe even installed some wrong/old drivers, or just don't know something.then trying to fix it for the past 2 days. Checked some topics on this forum, but didn't find any fix either. Really could use a hand.
I am having stuttering Issues while playing any game, occasionally my mouse does this laggy thing on the desktop but rarely, but when in game about 5 minutes into it the game starts acting like im having lag spikes, but it does it when playing non online games as well. Mainly Metro 2033 (most noticeable when a bomb goes off) and Counter Strike GO after 5 minutes or so.When I originally had this problem I had used a program called ToolWiz which I would not recommend, it changes way to much and deleted things from windows. In any Case I reformatted my computer hoping it would solve the problem. [code] Have a Hyper 212 on the CPU 4 great case fans. Idles temps are CPU: 29c 39c under load.... GPU 30c 47c under load.I used FRAPS when in CS GO to check FPS and normal I get about 120fps, WHen the glitching stuff started the fps never went below 90fps, so given for changes in enviroment, I would say FPS isnt an issue.All drivers are updated. Going to run Memtest tonight, but doubt that I will see any issues.
Im trying to get Memtest to boot from disc, but cant seem to get it to load at start up, (had similar problem when I installed fresh OS, had to do it inside OS) But was looking through BIOS settings, and saw some things that somehow got changed, switched it back into Ganged mode, and set Voltage on DRAM to 1.55 from 1.51. Didnt have an issue before with it this low but we will see, still trying to figure out how to get that darn memtest disc to load.
I am experiencing mouse lag/stuttering in a few games recently, however this only occurs when looking around in a game. The two games that currently do this, are Borderlands 2 and BRINK, however I believe more do which I have not found. I know this does not occur in Skyrim and also Protype 2. This does not occur when "aiming down the sights" in these games, only when looking around normally. I have all drivers updated, tried different mouses, mouse acceleration, mouse smoothing, v-syncs, dropping all graphics to low, looking around for other issues, but nothing seems to be quite the same. I'm using a GTX 670 with a Razer Naga, complete specs in my profile.

The os is updated and all the settings of the os are on default. The settings of videocard are in performance/balanced.
The problem was found in counter-strike 1.6 and Urban Terror 4.1 (its a quake3 mod).
In desktop, without gaming or something else, i see that the mouse has some kind of delay (almost nothing here).
During the gameplay i get lag and slow fps...
I disabled the "DESKTOP COMPOSITION" and the problem was not solved but its better with this crap disabled.
I wanna know if you can tell me if there is some config, drive issue, or something else to make it works without this option disabled.
Im thinking in some option on regedit to make desktop composition stop lagging the opengl games.
Does anybody knows how to solve it without disabling the desktop composition?
I like the face of windows 7 and don't wanna loose it for a game too old.
New computer running Windows 7. I was delighted to discover sticky notes in the gadgets bit, started using it sucssfully then all of a sudden they are gone! No longer show under gadgets and they are not on my desktop any more. Anyone out there have a clue what's gone wrong and how do i get them back,

On my desktop, "Sticky Notes" have a weird little "frame" around them...
If I move a "Sticky Note", the frame goes away...
- only to return a couple of seconds later.
I wondered if any of you had the same "problem", and if so - does anyone have a fix for this?

Can´t find a answer so decided to make this post. Using Sticky Notes on Win 7 is really nice, but sometimes I would use my tablet to write/draw manually to a note.
The problem is if I make any mistake or just want to delete, erase, part of what I wrote its no possible (i think).
I can at any time delete/modify etc my text but not what I drawn. The only way I found was delete the note and start over. There is anyway to get around this?
Is there any way to change the font? All I can do is change the background color.

if I keep ctrl button pressed and then click and drag with left mouse button (selecting text or using photoshop) this drag is sometimes "sticky" - when I finally release the mouse button system does not stop dragging. It behaves as I would still hold the left mouse button pressed... To release it I need to click again.

I'm one of those who just doesn't care for nearly any system sound, no matter how engineered or cool-sounding, and I really hate it that every time I change my desktop, my sound profile is changed back to a Microsoft default. I have my personal, minimalistic, profile saved, so I can pick it fairly easily, but having to take the extra step each time is a real step backwards for me functionally.
Are there any registry edits I could do make my own sound profile sticky?
