Nov 2, 2009I have done a clean install of Windows 7 Homepremium and my battery life on my Vaio TX3 has gone from 6.5 Hours to only 3 hours. I cant find the power management drivers. Also I can no longer use the keyboard hot keys to adjust the screen brightness.

Dec 2, 2012I have a 3 month old Del XPS 15z,I charged the battery and used it till it was drained I plugged in the AC adapter and i noticed as soon as i plug it in the little green light on the adopter goes off and the battery wont charge,my battery is drained and i can noteven turn the laptop on,does anyone know what i should do ? any one from Dell ?By the way i tried the AC adopter with another laptop and it works,so it should be OK.

Jan 10, 2013I have just purchased a new battery for my Fujitsu Amilo pi 3660 notebook.
I have tried so many times to charge it. I have fuilly discharged it and recharged it. I have installed and reinstalled drivers. No matter what I do, it stops charging at exactly 45%.
I know the battery is sound and the problem is a software issue. Does anyone know how to change this cap on the battery. BTW The new battery has slightly, (very) more capacity. This has not been a problem in other laptops, but this Fujitsu certainly caps the charge at 45%

Nov 6, 2009I have had problems once or twice with my battery, but not for a long time. I installed Windows 7 a couple of days ago and twice today my battery stopped charging even though it was plugged in. The first time it said it was plugged in but not charging. The second time it said nothing. Both times, I rebooted and it resumed charging.

I tried to restore to the last known good configuration. Dec 2, 2011My vaio 2005 computer allowed me to view and edit video from my sony digital video camera using windows xp. After a bad virus, I had to install windows 7. I used roxio software to try and edit and record my video but the computer didn't recognize the camera. In trying to use windows media player, I was told that I needed a driver for the camera, but in searching the computer and the internet for one, none was found. After contacting Microsoft, they couldn't find a driver.

When I press 'start windows normally' it starts up with vaio logo and sometimes windows logo, but then stops and redirects me to a page that is blue to check for problems, but stays on this for hours, never resolving the issue. I have tried taking battery out, booting in safe mode (which doesn't work) and using last known working settings, but still can't get to log in page.
