Ive just completed a format/reinstall of Win 7. Before the wireless was working absolutely fine, afterwards I cannot even detect an available connection. I can connect to the internet on the computer via an ethernet cable though. If I go to control panel and look at the hardware, there is a 'network controller' with a yellow triangle indicting a problem. Upon searching for drivers on the internet I am informed that a driver is installing but then I get a message saying that the issue was unable to be fixed. The issue is identical to this thread Help: Network controller doesn't have a driver. except that my hardware id is different. On that thread some nice person indicted the correct driver based on the id's he posted, but I have no idea how to do this. In properties, my hardware IDs are:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had to re-install my windows 7 home after it froze up on me several times. I then changed to windows 7 ultimate but still have the same problem minus the freezing. "NO AUDIO OUTPUT DEVICE INSTALLED" I have done all that I can think of including re-installing drivers checking with tech reports from others and so on all I find is for vista or XP. In the device manager I have an exclamation point on "HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO CONTROLLER" and the red X on the speaker symbol in the system tray. I've tried everything I can find to no avail. Also my USB ports no longer work as well. My Toshiba is model L505D-LS5007
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got the "No Audio Device is installed" message for the second time, and my Sound, Video, and Game Controller section on my Device Manager pulled a Houdini on me. I can't remember what i did last time to fix it, but I've tried everything that people have suggested on multiple threads concerning this. It was literally working last night as i was listening to music, today when i turned it on it said i had no audio output installed. I have an HP Pavillion dv9500. I upgraded from Vista Home 32-bit to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, but never had a real problem until now. I tried to find the driver on the HP site, but the driver didn't work. I've even tried to restore my computer to a week ago when i got a system update, but it keeps failing. There is also an exclamation mark on the Coprocessor under Other Devices in the device manager.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to do a fresh reinstall of my OS recently and ever since I did I have not been able to connect to the internet to get my others drivers running. In my device manager their is a Yellow triangle next to the Ethernet controller.I have downloaded and tests both the modem drivers as well as the LAN ASRock drivers directly from this site http://www.asrock.com/mb/download. [...] 4&o=Win764 the ASRock drivers had a notification that you do not meed the required specifications or similar and neither of them solved the issue.

I have an old Gateway windows xp that I upgraded to windows 7 the upgrade works fine except for the sound there is no sound device so I click the the speaker which has X on it and I tried windows update. did not work. it says I am missing a mass storage controller driver. I can't find this on the gateway site and have not found this on any site.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI Installed Windows 7 on my Toshiba P205-S8810 and I see in the device manager 2 missing drivers :
- Mass Storage Controller.
- Multimedia Controller.
I checked Toshiba website but there are a lot of drivers.
I did a windows 7 clean install on my HP Mini 210 4051 nr as part of creating a dual boot with Ubuntu. In Linux the internet works fine, but in Windows 7 it does not. In the device manager I see yellow flags over the ethernet and network controllers. Code 28 (My model does have an ethernet port).
Because the machine cannot connect, I downloaded all the related drivers (everything from the network tab) from the HP website for my model with another computer and then put them all in a folder on the Mini's desktop via USB. When I try to install the drivers through the device manager, and direct it to that folder, it says it finds nothing usable.
Here are the IDs
Ethernet Controller
PCIVEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_338D103C&REV_05
Network Controller

I have a Dell N5110 with a failed hard drive. I bought a new hard drive, reinstalled Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I then downloaded all the drivers from dell. I followed the Dell recommended install order. After all the drivers are loaded, I go to Device manager and it says I am missing a network controller driver and I am unable to access wireless. I press function + F2 and I can turn on the wireless, but I am unable to add a wireless network. I have tried numerous network drivers from the dell site - doing a win reinstall before trying a different driver, but none are working. I have reformatted the machine again (for the 5th time) and I have no drivers currently installed. Where do I go from here?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got a computer for free, a Dell Studio 1555. When I got it, it would try to boot, then come to a screen that said that bootmgr.exe was missing. Sometimes I got a message that said something like mpio.sys was corrupted or missing. I have a Win 7 disk, so I put it in and tried to repair the installation. Each time I ran it, it said that the repair had failed. I tried to reinstall windows 7, and It made it to the first restart in the process. It showed the "Starting Windows" screen, but the colors of the windows logo never appeared, then I got the missing bootmgr screen. I decided to install Ubuntu and see if that worked, and it did (I installed it alongside the Windows installation). It was Ubuntu 10.04. I thought, "OK, so i'll just use this as a Linux machine"...and I decided to go back and reinstall so that I could use the entire hard drive. It never worked correctly again. Each subsequent time that I installed Ubuntu, I was told something along the lines of "Gnome Power Manager did not install correctly" and got a slow and choppy Ubuntu installation.Tried to install 11.10, and it failed completely. I opened the Ubuntu live from my usb drive, and opened the disk utility. I now cannot format, reformat, partition, or delete partitions on the drive. Is all of this just a case of a hard drive on its last legs, or is there something else going on here?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOk i have windows 7, Recently i have found out that i have a full list of errors that happened pretty much overnight:Here's the list 1. I can't go onto Control Panel It say's " This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" I AM THE ADMIN.. I am the only account too. 2. My Task bar is missing, When i go ctrl-alt-del i see no option to open up my task bar. [FIXED] 3. I cant RIGHT click on anything on my desktop, as well as my folders and stuff. Although i can right click while playing games or browsing the internet, so my mouse is definitely not broken. So u must be thinking, this guy has a virus for sure... Well if i do have a virus it must be made by ******* Bill Gates. Because i can't find it.I have the FULL version of Trend Micro Cillin as well as Norton 360, I've just recently downloaded Malvare Bytes, and that couldn't find anything as well. I've done a full system scam on both anti-virus programs, i see no viruses. I did get a virus a week ago, but Norton quickly picked it up, I'm thinking it may have changed a few settings in my computer before i managed to delete it.
