I'm actually running 7 RC(7100) on my kids ECS 661FX-M7 mobo, and decided to run the 7 Advisor.. it came back with "Go to the mfgr website to d/l the latest driver.." for the SiS 900-based PCI-Fast Ethernet, and also should update the RealTek AC'97 audio driver. As I already have 7 running ok on this, what should I do about these recommendations?
I'm helping my friend fix up his comp, but he lost the drivers to his Ethernet port. He did a clean install of his computer without really talking to me, so all drivers are lost. We installed windows 7 for his main OS, but it doesn't seem to support this driver natively.
He had a 3com 3C920B-EMB integrated fast Ethernet controller for the last driver, but finding it now seems to be impossible. If anyone knows anything specific on how i could get the drivers again, or how if theres an updated driver that would work for the same card thats be great. Im pretty sure the Ethernet port is built on the motherboard, its an old hp computer, before they were really reliable IMO. He does not have any of the driver discs or anything, bad with computers .
Does anyone know a decent site with drivers ? I'm sick of those WiseDriver, DriverAgent, Pay us and you'll get nothing anyway Driver Specialist my ***. I want know if there's any Windows 7 x64 driver for Surecom EP-320X-S Fast Ethernet Adapter. My onboard lan got thunderstruck and I really need a fast connection.
When I find the driver, They want to download Driver etc. I need to save this so can burn to disk for install on another computer in order to have internet access.
I dont really trust what they say because when I checked the review.. its not that good.. so finally i plan to ask from this forum instead, hoping to get answers..What are the best VCD burning program you guys ever used? I want the one that can accept all types of video and convert it on its own and burn it... Easy to use is a must...I have tried the latest Nero but its not good at converting Mp4 files... because when i burned them... the video moves so fast as if they are fast forwarded but the voice lagg behind... there goes my CD wasted...And i have tried Ashampoo as well but they did not recognize mp4 files, only mpeg... i have video converter but what i want is one program to do it all.. drag the video to the program and all i have to do is wait til its done..hoping to get your replies soon.. any software will do... i prefer the simplest and easy to use.. it can be free or paid.. but if paid make sure its worth it
Since 5 days random BSOD's occured. I know it is something with my drivers and tried many ways to fix it. I have run a sfc /SCANNOW and i will add the log.og was to big so I uploaded it on this webpage Download CBS.log from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
Does anyone know if there is a Vista / Windows 7 compatible driver for this device?
Windows 7 Action center tells me this. If I use the Windows XP driver that came with it, it causes a blue screen of death if I insert my wireless lan card (I assume its having an IRQ conflict or something like that with the Wireless card) - If I uninstall the XP driver the machine doesn't blue screen.
Address a problem with Winbond WEC0510 Fast Infrared Controller (DMA)
Winbond WEC0510 Fast Infrared Controller (DMA) is not compatible with this version of Windows.
Because this device isn't compatible with this version of Windows, and there are no solutions available for this problem,
They have it under private beta apparently. But, it seems to be available on this post.
I've tried to sign up with no luck. Does anyone have the alternative way I could get the driver? Does it even work? I'm hearing conflicting things. Anyone have a modified version. I could really use it for S/PDIF.
It's happened 3 times now in the past 2 days, I have no guess as to whats causing it.My windows is a 64-bit home premium OEM, It's about a year and a half old now. Haven't reinstalled the OS.The BSOD folder and system health report are in the zip,
my laptop is hp pavilion g6 notebook pc >> my problem is with the ethernet controller driver and the network contoller driver >> after i had install a windows 64 bit i couldn't find these drivers.
Preparing to custom install Win 7 but "adviser" recommends downloading a IC Plus Ethernet Adapter 10/100 for Window 7, and it seems one is not available, closer examination of the mini disc reveals a CNET driver (for XP) (and works) but again, no Win 7 driver available at CNET or on mini disc.
And I keep getting directed to some driver all inclusive salesmart, I am upgrading O/S to avoid them in the first place.
My D-Link router is not working virgin want me to connect my laptop to the router with the ethernet cable, but it appears I do not have an ethernet driver. I need to download one but from where? I have tried system restoring but it hasnt brought it back and they say they cant fix my router until the driver is there. my other driver are realtek and I am using windows 7.
Yesterday I completely wiped my computer down to the bone, and found out that my ethernet driver was removed. I am currently connecting with a rosewill wireless usb, although I do want my ethernet card back. The usb gradually makes my internet slower and does occasionally make my computer crash. I am currently using a HP Pavilion Slimline s5710f PC and it is running on Windows 7.
I've installed the original Windows 7 Professional x64 on my desktop and it doesn't install the ethernet controllers!!! i've tried everything, even installing the ones on GIGABYTE's website. Btw, my motherboard is a P35-DS3L rev. 2.0, tried a lot of drivers, no one seems to work! what am i possibly doing wrong???
i downloaded a new version of nvdia drivers but it is not compatible. so iuninstalled it..now my pc arising a problem that "current ethernet driver doesn't support -nvidia forceware network access manager"
laptop can not connect with Internet because of accidentally uninstall of some programs.it shows network cable unplugged.when i try to scan from Device manager it says."Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"
I just installed Win 7 and I can't go on the internet Ther Network Controller, Ethernet Controller Universal Serial Bus Drivers all have yellow exclamation mark, Where do I get these?
I want to build an inexpensive but not junk computer. AMD was suggested to me and it sounds good but I have no source of information except from you folks.Could you help me find an inexpensive motherboard for this CPU? On board audio and video would be ideal and USB 3.0 and maximum of 8Gb of memory is a must. What confuses me is that the CPU calls itself AM3 but when I do a search I only find AM3+. I'm not a computer dummy but I'm not up on AMD.
I recently installed windows 7 on my computer and attempted to install my computer drivers package which has always worked without problem when I installed windows xp pro. For some unknown reason windows 7 does not recognize the Ethernet Driver.I cannot connect to the internet and when I go to Device Manager it says there is no Ethernet Driver installed. When I put my Shuttle Driver CD in and ask the Device Manager to find the necessary driver it comes back saying it cannot find a driver.Everything else installed perfectly.I of course cannot access the internet on my computer and therefore cannot use any known software to determine exactly what driver I need and download it. I am using my laptop to try and find a solution.
i having problem with my Dell Demension 3000. after i installing clean Window Xp sp2 2002. i,m missing Ethernet Controller driver! without that i can't connect to internet. not i,m using my bro laptop.
i recently bought and installed windows 7 ultimate, i reformatted my PC and when i started it everything was ok, but then there was no Ethernet Controller aswell as Audio but i'am more bothered about the internet acess
recently I downloaded and installed Spybot S&D, MBAM, and Comodo firewall on a computer of mine and shortly after(1 or 2 days) My Internet connection ceased. I assumed it was something Comodo was blocking so I tried disabling it and then un-installing it and neither changed anything. I tried pinging www.google.com and it failed. I tried pinging my router and it worked. and I tried having my router ping www.google.com and that worked. I also checked the device manager to see if anything was odd and I had a yellow "!" for my ethernet controller. So I whip out the cd for my motherboard and reinstall it and it is successful. I check the connection to the web and it fails. When I check the device manager it still shows a yellow "!" for the ethernet controller. I tried getting the latest set of drivers for my motherboard on another computer and the same results. My motherboard is a gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 nvidia nForce 570 sli. It has a Nvidia nForce 10/100/1000 MBPS ethernet on-board adapter.
There are two entries in my device manager: ethernet controller (which has the "!") and nvidia nForce 10/100/1000 mbps ethernet (which displays fine in the device manager) The current driver package I am trying to install is this link. That is what nVidias drop down boxes give me when I enter in my information.I found some forums of people with similar issues but all the solutions tell them to use the device manager's tools to update the drivers but I haven't had any luck with that so far. I may be doing it wrong because those options never seem to work for me. Does anyone have any ideas on what can be going on here?I'm running windows 7 x64 and a AMD Phenom x4 quad core 2.2GHz
First post here. ~~So I recently dealt with a virus, and I reformatted my PC.Everything is working fine, however I cannot connect to the internet via direct connected through cable to my router.Manufacturer: Cyberpower Inc.Processor: AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor 3.60 GHzRAM: 8 GBOperating System: Windows 7 service pack1 64-bitI saw another post about the same issue that was fixed by getting a motherboard specified driver. I don't know if I can use those drivers seeing as how I don't have the same motherboard. Atleast I don't imagine. I don't know how I'd go about finding out what motherboard I have. I'm a bit of a noobie here.
My pc is an Advent DT1404. Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.Norton security suiteCPU is Intel(R) Pentium(R) G620@2.60GHz.Graphics card: Intel(R) HD Graphics.Motherboard: Foxconn H61MXL/H61MXL-K.In device properties it says for ethernet controller: no driver for this device. Code 28.Location for device is given as: PCI slot1(pci bus 2.device 0. function 0.)I have no idea what any of this means.I've read elsewhere that I need a chipset driver before controller driver. When I try to access Intel site I have no idea which drivers to download. The pc is playing up. it freezes very often and the mouse works erratically.
