When I virus scan on norton internet security, my PC blue screens with the error: kernel_data_inpage_error, each time with a different error- I have done this twice, and it comes up relating to ntfs.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. The error code is 0x0000007a. Is the problem related to my OS installation or hardware?

I used to get intermittent BSODs, maybe once every 2-3 weeks. Now I've gotten 4 in the past 24 hours, all with different errors. I can't think of any changes I've made to cause this, and 3/4 times it's happened while playing a game, watching something on VLC, and with ~15 tabs open on Chrome. The game is different every time too. The other blue screen was just after restarting after a blue screen.

I've been getting these blue screens that occur while I am away from the computer almost exclusively. It happens occasionally while in use, but if I leave it I can be sure it will have crashed when I return.[code] Read our privacy statement online: Windows 7 Privacy Statement - Microsoft Windows..If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:Windowssystem32en-USerofflps.txt.

Ok i got one of those store bought laptops that comes with vista basic and a whole bunch of mess and non-needed partitions. So i decided to just install windows 7 over the top.
I started the install app, deleted all the partitions and created a new one using all the unallocated space. Then i installed windows 7 to the new partition.
It installed fine, booted for the first time, i was tired so i shut it down and went to bed.
The next morning i turned it on it looked like it was booting fine but then it went straight to start up repair, the start up repair went for about 30 minutes and said no solution could be found. I tried a couple more times, every time the start up repair would take longer to say the same thing, until it simply started blue screening shortly after "Starting Windows".
So i decided to try reinstalling over the top, i put the installation disk in started the setup it loaded files and said "Starting Windows" shortly after it blue screened.
So now i had no clue what was happening, i managed to get into start up repair somehow, don't remember, and got into command prompt, from there i formatted the partition deleting all files on the disk. I then tried to boot to check if the format was successful and it said no bootmgr etc was found, so i determined the hard-drive was now clean.
So i put the installation disk in and booted from it, same thing loaded files, "Starting Windows", blue screen. I have no clue what is going on here and would appreciate any help, i am beginning to think it is a hardware error og some sort.

I have been experiencing very frequent BSOD recently for about the past month or two, increasing in frequency over the past week or so.
It seems to occur mostly during the times that I play games like tf2 on steam, but it has occurred simply during times when I was using steam or closing it.I have installed a program called Blue-Screen View so I have all the information for my crashes, the BSOD that seems to occur the most (7 out of 15 times) is Memory Management.
Bug Check String: Bug Check Code: Caused by Driver: Crash Address: Times Occured
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT:0x0000001a:ntoskrnl.exe:ntoskrnl.exe+7efc0 (10/21 times)

BAD_POOL_HEADER:0x00000019:ntoskrnl.exe:ntoskrnl.exe+7efc0 (3/21 times)

I just today managed to get a program to read .dmp files, and have my two most recent .dmp files for you to view. I had a blue screen from avast's self-protection driver so I removed avast and put on a different antivirus(I used avast's official uninstaller). I still am getting blue screens, but now they are staying the same (IRQL ones).

I haven't been able to get my system running stable since a clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 a few months now. The computer is about 3 years old. Local pc tech shop installed 7 64 Pro on a brand new hard drive (2 months ago) that was tested prior to installing the OS.I've included required reports. I believe my memory has been thoroughly tested and is running well. The only thing I haven't done is uninstalling Avast though not sure why it would be a problem software.

I just built a new machine and did a clean install of Windows 7 RC last week. For the most part it runs like a dream, very much up to par.
However, there are occasional Blue Screens and game crashes that happen while putting little strain on the PC, in my opinion.
I am typically running Firefox, Ventrilo and World of Warcraft when the issue occurs. Occasionally I get dips in my frame rate from around 60fps to 15-25fps. I received a notification that it was in relation to my video card and that I should update the driver, however I installed the 185.85 nvidia driver when I assembled it all.
Is there anyone that has experienced similar issues? if so what was your fix?

I ran windows rc for 6 months without any problems, and right now I'm working with a system that is not overclocked. I've had three occasions where I got a bsod before the login screen and I had to do a system restore to get into windows. However, I never get a bsod while I'm in windows.
My memory is running at the maximum recommended voltage, and I ran a checkdisk but it didn't do anything. Again, these are seemingly random, but once they start occurring they continue until I do a system restore. I know i'm not providing much info to help diagnose the problem, but it's all that i can think of. Any diagnostic/fix suggestions?

The problem is, Windows 7 gives me errors when using programs such as IE, WoW, etc. Blue Screens. Often when I startup it blue screens to a dump screen. Problem is resolved by just rebooting. This issue seems to have been coming up when I installed a Galaxy GT 240 video card. Using CRT connection to my 42" LG LCD. Motherboard is Biostar G41-DVI, processor is Pentium D 820 which is set to 220 which gives me roughly 3.1ghz.
The fan is around 3k rpm and the temp levels are steady at around 31c. Could the issue be with the video card? It started actually the first time I installed it. Could there be a setting in bios I'm over looking. I have not tried to update the drivers for the card.

I have an Asus A53S Laptop. It's about 2 years old and is no longer under warranty and I am now getting the Blue screen of death. This started occurring after I had just opened a slot in the back that only had access to the ram but didn't modify anything. I can post a picture of that if needed. It seems to occur when I put the computer under a small amount of load. It will happen if I run maybe 4 programs max. Skype, google chrome, microsoft office, etc. I manage to get a picture of the screen when it blue screened. I read about a "A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated" error.

It doesn't actually show a blue screen, but it automatically restarts and says windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown. After looking at the details I get these error codes.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name:BlueScreen
OS Version:6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
[Code].....
It all started after I clicked on a bad link and tried installing some software. I virus scanned and removed two trojans. Nothing has been detected and I've full scanned with both microsoft security essentials and Malwarebyte antimalware and nothing comes up anymore.
