Lexmark X8350 Cartridge Not Recognized / Not Printing
Jun 2, 2012
why i have been able to use my printer up until about a week ago. first i got a message telling me print cartridge is not recognised and then the printer either wont print at all or prints incorret size or wrong font or something else intirley.
i have window 7 and a fast computer. i have uninstalled and reinstalled i have changed the cartridge and i have cleaned the senors.
My HP OfficeJet 6500 is only using the black cartridge and not the color cartridges, which are brand new and I performed a head cleaning. The issue appears to be at the printer level and not from the PC, since even a copy in color will use only the Black cartridge.
I have an HP 6000 officejet printer and would like to know how I can tell when the cartridge needs replacement. There used to be some kind of chart to measure ink levels?
i have a kodak esp.c310 and i get this problem when ever 1 ink cartridge is out i cant print anything even if the black and white one is full and i want to print in just black and white it wont let me is there anyway to get past this?
I have a Zotac 570 gtx connected via HDMI cable to my Asus VE258 LED monitor.I've had this video card and monitor setup working before with the exact cable, card and monitor.Something changed in my system where the monitor is no longer recognized for what it is. When i go into my Nvidia control panel under change resolution 1.Digital Display, 2. DVI-PC Display - Resolution 1080p 59 Hz. There is no DVI cable plugged into the computer and the monitor is set on HDMI input. When i go to my Audio playback devices, the HDMI connection does not show up at all, even as disabled or disconnected. When i go to play a game (Diablo 3, Skyrim, Farcry2) The game either doesn't open (skyrim) giving me the error that resolution is not recognized (but then does not give me any resolutions to choose from in the options menu) or will play (Diablo 3) but is stuck on extremely low resolutions with only 2 options.
Here's what i've done. Contacted Zotac and had them send me the most recent drivers for the video card. Uninstalled originals and re-installed the new ones. Contacted Asus (they say its not the monitor as long as its set on HDMI input) I am unable to find a driver that will make my computer (Windows 7) recognize the monitor for what it is. Zotac failed after their attempt with the driver and told me to RMA the card. So i did... i waited a month.
System is HP desktop running W7-64 bit. Printer is HP Photosmart 7350, old but working perfectly until 2 days ago. Driver is Deskjet 5550 (closest one for this printer).
I've reinstalled the driver, plugged and unplugged the printer, and tried to print from different programs. As soon as the print button is selected the error condition shows in the Devices & Printers section. This happens whether the printer is turned on or not.
Anyone find a way for Lexmark drivers to work for Windows 7 x64? I can install just fine with the different compatibility modes but when I try to print I get a "Communication Not Available" error... and the printer is connected.
I recently installed Windows 7 7000/7022/7048, and also installed the 64bit drivers for my Lexmark X5150. The problem is i can't print sometimes, it comes in the printing dialog or It prints but when i send a second set it keeps saying deleting the first set. Or it does not print until I restart print spooler, and it starts printing the one that was "deleting". Its seems like Lexmark never learns.. I had this problem too in Vista.
My office printer, HP Color Laserjet CM6040mfp, prints nicely when I just print "normally" from Word or Excel. When I try to automatize it with a .bat file, it doesn't work. I have x64 Windows 7. Another computer has x86 Windows 7 and it works nicely.
The error I receive is: "Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000705). Windows cannot locate a suitable printer driver.Contact your administrator for help locating and installing a suitable driver." So what do I need to install? The actual thing I'm trying to do is to print out test pages from several printers using a VBA script. This CM6040mfp happens to be the closest one to my room so that's the one I begin with.
when I go to print a document, sometimes the save window opens up and no matter what I do it will not print. I have a document save in a certain font size and when i try to print it the font increases by itself and its too big for the page.
I have Epson LQ-1150 II Printer. My computer is named GIR and my printer is shared as EPSON.I used commandNET USE LPT1 \GIREPSON /PERSISTENT:YESI used my printer with this command for 1 month then my my machine got infected with VIRUS and I had to format it.Now I am unable to create a batch file and also when I enter this command the computer asks user name for "GIR". When provided with any user name whether existing user id or fake id the computer askes for password. I do not have any password on my PC.
I have been struggling for days to find a solution with an annoying printing problem on my new Windows 7 (64bit) HP Laptop. I can not print from my HP Laptop to any printers on my older XP Desktop wirelessly over my home network. I can open files from my shared folders on my XP desktop from my Windows 7 Laptop, etc. I can see all of the printers when I "Add a Printer" - but it tells me that:
"Windows can't find a driver for Canon iP4300 on the network."
I cannot find a driver manually and have installed a Windows 7 compatible driver for the iP4300 on my Laptop, etc. - no luck.
When I connect the same XP Printer directly to my Laptop by USB cable - it prints find. But, I can't seem to find a solution to my wireless problem.
All of a sudden my printer isn't "connected" to my laptop...it says "it's offline" I've NEVER worked "offline" and I need to print some important information out to FAX to my ins. co. asap
Whe I map LPT1 as follows from the DOS prompt:NET USE LPT1 \computernameprintersharename LPT1 remains available for a short while whether used or not after a short while is becomes Unavailable.
I recently install Windows 7 Professial x86 on my computer and I would like to install my Multifuctions Lexmark X5150.So I browse on this forum and I find out about compatible mode. I try with windows vista driver but only the Scanner work the printer driver does not connect.I uninstall everything and try with my CD and run with windows XP compatibility and the printer driver connects and the scanner too I can use the scanner but when I try to print anything with word or a test page or a page from internet, or anything the printer don't print, so I went to device and printers, open printer status and when I send something to print the printer said it's offline and doesn't print anything.
When I install the drivers for the Lexmark X9575 AIO printer on XP or Vista (x64), it also installs a Lexmark FAX printer which I can use from Word or other programs to automatically send a FAX from my PC. I now have Win 7 x64 RTM installed and there's no Lexmark FAX printer listed.
I tried ubinstalling and reinstalling the Lexmark software quite a few times, I tried Compatibility mode, I tried running as Administrator all with no luck. I tried the Lexmark driver from the Website, still no luck. Is there anyone here who does have the Lexmark FAX printer installed with Win 7? If so, how did you do it?
I have this product but after updating my computer to Windows 7 ı have a problem with it. The original cd refers to Xp , 2000, 98 but now for Windows 7 it says " it ' s not suitable for your system.
