Feb 18, 2012Is intel hd graphics 3000 enough to run windows aero ?and will it run the metro ? I know itsnt enought to run the newest game ,but can it run the old games ?

i have searched everywhere and there are no drivers for 7 or vista
i have read that if i use recommended settings that it would work
i tried and it did not

its almost unbearable to look at this.
Increase Vram On Intel Hd 3000?

core i 5 2450 (2.5 ghz)
4096 mb ram ddr3 1333
and intel hd 3000
i have 1632 mb shared memory and 64 mb dedicated memory what i want to know is how can i change my dedicated memory size can i increase it? in the benchmark shows intel hd 3000 in low resolousion can run pes 2013 with 35 fps but when i install the game (pes 2013) it gives an error and say you need minimum 128 mb of vram. i only have 64 mb vram so i awnt to know how can i increase i more to 128 mb?
Accidentally Uninstalled HD Graphics 3000?
Dec 14, 2012So I was going to update my driver, but the installer was giving me an error. So I decided I should uninstall the driver and see if that fixed it. My screen went black. I tried hooking it up to my tv with HDMI because I have a GeForce GT 525M as well, but it did not work.
I am currently on my Linux partition and I have access to my Windows partition. How can I install a driver by pasting files or whatever.

Jan 6, 2012I have setup extended monitors, and when I close laptop lid video on TV stop playing and shows me desktop from laptop. Tried "do nothing" when lid closed but that didn't do the trick.
My old Vaio VGN-Z (Nvidia Geforce 9300GS) had no issues when closing laptop lid.

BSOD With Install Of Intel Graphics Driver Or Install Of Graphics Card
Jul 19, 2012I've completed a new custom build, but have had problems with BSOD from the beginning with any installation of Intel Graphics drivers or the installation of any graphics card.
When I first completed the build, the XFX-7950 Black was installed. I booted to BIOS without issue, but when I inserted the Windows 7 (64 bit) it would boot through the windows logo screen but immediately BSOD right after going to the first install screen.
I removed the graphics card, and was able to complete the full Windows install without issue. I updated Windows and the drivers on the system but as soon as I installed the Intel 3000 Graphics driver, it would BSOD on every restart. I recovered back prior to the Graphics driver install and installed all other drivers. I updated the BIOS to the latest version.
I have reattempted the XFX 7950 multiple times in different slots, but with the same results. I also attempted my Radeon HD 4550 from my old computer but it gave the same results. It always boots through the Windows logo screen, but BSOD within a few seconds of reaching the password screen.
I broke down and installed Driver Whiz, which did detect multiple outdated drivers that I had not caught, but none of these fix the issues.
I've attached the requested zip. I don't think all BSOD's are showing up, as I've had to use recovery points after installed drivers didn't work. The last .dmp on 19 JUL was a Intel Graphics driver install attempt that I pulled off in safe mode before recovering back to the pre-driver point.

I've updated my bios using gigabyte's @bios tool and I've tried installing th drivers from the disc, from intel's website and with automatic update in device manager. Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver
Aug 19, 2012Every 5-10 minutes my screen turns black, sort of flashes a bit, and then comes back on in different colours and the windows are all different sizes, but then it changes a bit and goes back to normal. Then I get a balloon message from the task bar saying "Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver for Windows VistaŽ stopped responding and has successfully recovered." (screenshot below) For some reason it says "for Windows VistaŽ but I am on Windows 7. When it has come back to normal again, Chrome goes all funny and the tabs won't switch. So if I try to switch tabs, the top thing is on the tab that I have switched to, but the main screen below stays on what the previous tab was. Also, sometimes the tab becomes unresponsive and I have to either restart Chrome or refresh the tab.
