Everytime I use explorer on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, my screen turns black and then displays the the intel graphics accelerator drivers has stopped responding and has recovered. Im very frustrated with this as to it is really causing my pc to not work properly. Any input would be very helpful.
Every 5-10 minutes my screen turns black, sort of flashes a bit, and then comes back on in different colours and the windows are all different sizes, but then it changes a bit and goes back to normal. Then I get a balloon message from the task bar saying "Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver for Windows Vista® stopped responding and has successfully recovered." (screenshot below) For some reason it says "for Windows Vista® but I am on Windows 7. When it has come back to normal again, Chrome goes all funny and the tabs won't switch. So if I try to switch tabs, the top thing is on the tab that I have switched to, but the main screen below stays on what the previous tab was. Also, sometimes the tab becomes unresponsive and I have to either restart Chrome or refresh the tab.
Just put together a new machine and running 7 ulitmate x64 machine randomly hangs/freezes and after an undefined period starts again.i am getting a message.Display driver Intel graphics accelertor for windows 7 (R) stopped responding.

I am using a Dual core system and windows 7 professional i am unable to install Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver it is showing " This computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software " .My System specs are:
1.Dual Core 2.Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit 3.500 Gb HDD 4. 4 Gb RAM 5. Nvidia Ge Force GT 520 1 Gb
i have upgraded my pc from xp to 7. I scanned my pc with windows 7 upgrade advisor and the result was possitive. but when i tried to install my motherboard drivers the intel graphic, media accelerator failed to get installed.why?my motherboard is intel DG41RQ, i have a 2 GB ram on 500GB hard disk & my processor is intel pentium (2.6 GHZ).
i am using windows 7 in my PC, Intel dg41rq, my processor is Intel Pentium and have a 2GB ram on 500 GB hard disk..why Intel graphics media accelerator failed to install in my windows 7???when i tried to play chess titans game in windows 7 suddenly my monitor was off.
my system shows repeated blue-screens, restarting as many times, whenever you-tube gets opened systems gets stopped, ten often shows display drivers stopped responding and recovered successfully after a blink.
I have installed Win 7 32 bit O/S, have installed Ati Radeon Hd 4350 driver and control suite for pci-e video card, trying to install. Intel Graphics media Accelerator driver installer, get error. This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software Set up will exit.
I have an Acer Aspire 7741z-4433 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) p6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB 1.3 cache). This only happens to me while I am playing The Sims 3. I have the game set on the lowest quality settings, even though my laptop "claims" to be HD LED, etc. This issue still happens. As you may know I cannot replace the graphics card as it is apart of the motherboard, and to buy a new motherboard with a better graphics card would cost more than a new computer. I have been the my manufacture's website and tried installing an update of the graphics card, and that didn't do the trick either. I am at my wits end, and I just want to play the game without it shutting down and freezing my computer. The reason I know the error is because I do Alt + Tab to get back to the desktop. The way it acts up while I am in game is the screen blacks out but I can still see the software's mouse, and then it blinks a couple times and then freezes completely?
"Intel has a series of ‘pre-production’ drivers for its graphics chipsets in Windows 7. It’s a clear attempt to avoid the incompatibility problems which plagues Vista.
Though the next edition of Windows isn’t even at beta stage yet, Intel has announced:
Intel is making available for testing its preproduction WDDM1.1 graphics driver, enabling the full Windows 7 experience. The driver is the result of an ongoing collaboration with Microsoft to provide OEMs and developers with drivers that deliver all of the required WDDM1.1 features for Windows 7. As a result of the collaboration, OEMs and beta users can stay in step with Windows 7 prereleases for smooth product development.
To explain the jargon, drivers are the link between hardware and Windows, while WDDM is Windows’ Display Driver Model, the overall system for graphics drivers that was introduced in Vista and continued in Windows 7.
OEMs are Original Equipment Manufacturers: in other words, firms which make computer parts (or entire machines) that are then usually sold on by other manufacturers.
In short, the announcement means Intel is taking serious steps to make sure its chips work properly in Windows 7. If there are any problems, it wants plenty of time to sort them out before the official release.
The announcement is also a sign that Microsoft promises to do a better job of working with hardware firms to ensure driver compatibility are being followed through. Many manufacturers complained that they didn't have enough notice of driver requirements for Vista, which led to incompatibility.
And while a few such problems might have seen the device producers blamed for shoddy work, the Vista issues were so widespread that the operating system itself bore the brunt of most public discontent. So Microsoft has as much, if not more motivation to avoid such problems this month.
Of course, Intel is such a major player that Microsoft has to keep it happy (witness the debacle over Intel chips which weren't ‘Vista capable). The real test is whether Microsoft gives the same level of timely cooperation to smaller manufacturers."
Intel already has Windows 7 drivers - VISTA.BLORGE
n an effort to avoid compatibility problems that plagued the launch of Windows Vista, Intel is giving developers a jump on its Windows 7-based product line.
The company has released a pre-production version of Windows 7 drivers for graphics chipsets. The WDDM1.1 graphics driver is designed for "enabling the full Windows 7 experience," Intel said, noting that the driver is the result of ongoing collaboration with Microsoft.

My Device Manager does not show any drivers as missing but I get a very low graphics score on the Windows Index Experience; it is 2.0.
I think that this may have something to do with the "Media Graphics Accelerator Driver" which will not install ("OS not supported" when using setup). I tried the install for Vista (No.7) from this page:- Download Search Results!
I've read posts here and elsewhere that describe migrating drivers with a driver backup util from Vista and pulling them into Windows 7 via Device Manager but I don't have a Vista installation to be able to do that.
I'd like to have a WIE of 3 or more in order to run Aero but my WIE figures are 3.2/4.6/2.0 (graphics)/3.0/5.9. and I can't see that low base-rate of 2.0 disappearing unless I can install the Graphics Media Accelerator (Intel replied to my query with the standard "not our policy to support future technology etc. etc". (ha ha! nice one Intel)).
Satellite A10 Model PSA10A-3V1KK Graphics Driver.Im trying to run win 7 on this relic and so far so good except the graphics card is a freaking nightmare to sort and toshiba are useless in most areas of support, does anyone know where i can find non proprietary drivers for the Intel 82852/855 GM Integrated graphics chipset.
I recently rebuilt my pc with a gigabyte ga h77m d3h and core i3 2120 with 512m dedicated to on board graphics. The computer will start fine after you do the fresh install of windows 7 prof. 64 bit with the default video driver from windows. I've updated my bios using gigabyte's @bios tool and I've tried installing th drivers from the disc, from intel's website and with automatic update in device manager. Could a corrupt windows install file cause this issue? I downloaded the ISO from the Microsoft website when I bought the product key.
Why the screen will hanged and closed my game automatically when I'm playing maple story? After my game closed, the right bottom of my deskstop pop out the warning or something, the warning message showed Display driver intel graphic accelerator for window 7 stopped responding and has recovered. This will happen when I move my character of Maple Story to a place that complicated and the place that have many people there.
I get an error message saying "Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows XP(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered." I do, however, have Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. The screen turns black and then flashes white. I can only resume use of my computer if I close out all my chrome tabs multiple times and reopen them.
I've completed a new custom build, but have had problems with BSOD from the beginning with any installation of Intel Graphics drivers or the installation of any graphics card.
When I first completed the build, the XFX-7950 Black was installed. I booted to BIOS without issue, but when I inserted the Windows 7 (64 bit) it would boot through the windows logo screen but immediately BSOD right after going to the first install screen.
I removed the graphics card, and was able to complete the full Windows install without issue. I updated Windows and the drivers on the system but as soon as I installed the Intel 3000 Graphics driver, it would BSOD on every restart. I recovered back prior to the Graphics driver install and installed all other drivers. I updated the BIOS to the latest version.
I have reattempted the XFX 7950 multiple times in different slots, but with the same results. I also attempted my Radeon HD 4550 from my old computer but it gave the same results. It always boots through the Windows logo screen, but BSOD within a few seconds of reaching the password screen.
I broke down and installed Driver Whiz, which did detect multiple outdated drivers that I had not caught, but none of these fix the issues.
I've attached the requested zip. I don't think all BSOD's are showing up, as I've had to use recovery points after installed drivers didn't work. The last .dmp on 19 JUL was a Intel Graphics driver install attempt that I pulled off in safe mode before recovering back to the pre-driver point.

A new Intel driver for GMA 500 graphics has been released for the Sony Vaio P with noticeable improvements in video viewing, Aero performance (enables 3D acceleration) and web browsing. I have been advised that it Works only under Vista and Windows 7, no XP.
Apparently you have to install under Windows 7, use compatibility mode and select Vista as OS. Can someone please guide me on how to install using compatibility mode ?
I have been looking all over the internet for my problem but did not find any solution.Hope you guys can help me. Before,to switch between graphics all I had to do was go to desktop, right click and select "Configure Graphics Properties".But the main problem is when i right click on desktop,I do not get the "Configure Graphics Properties".Please help me I reinstalled Catalyst Control Center but nothing happened.I recently bought Max Payne 3 but cannot play because I cannot switch my graphics.
I've been having problems updating my Intel Graphics Media Accelerator driver, 8.15.10.2119. It is the version that prevents Win 7 SP1 from showing up in WU. I read a thread about this very issue from 2011, but the link provided to go to Intel to get the latest driver leads to nowhere. I cannot find a place to go to update the driver. I manually downloaded SP1 and installed it and it is working fine. My question is: do I still need to update the driver, and if so, where do I get it from? Neither HP nor Intel is any help here. And would this driver cause IE9 to crash? The computer came with IE8 on it, but I installed IE9 in Nov. 2011. Shortly after, I was getting a message like "Internet Explorer has stopped working". I uninstalled IE9 and went back to IE8, but I had the same problem there as well. IE8 worked fine until I upgraded to IE9. Then I uninstalled IE8 and changed to IE9, where I still have problems. I have contacted MS Support about this, and one option given was to reformat the hard drive, which I really don't want to do. They were concerned about the fact that SP1 was not offered and hinted that the computer would be more vulnerable to problems without it installed. My firewall and anti-virus have turned up nothing. I use Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security.
I wanted to get Skyrim for my laptop but the one weakness with my Sony Vaio is that it uses Intel HD Graphics 3000 integrated graphics and I was wondering if it will be playable. Also, if it can play it will it be playable at my laptops screen resolution of 1366x768?
I run a Lenovo thinkpad r61 15.4' laptop with 1,256mb ram and intel x3100 graphics which says it can support up to 384mb of video graphics.due to having 1gb of ram in one slot and 256mb in the other slot. Is it just using ram from the 256mb slot ? So would taking the 256 out and falling back to 1gb ram improve the graphics ? I havent found any information on that issue and only know that having 2gb of ram can get the card to reach its prime. I just thought I'd ask, I've updated my card to the new driver and cant find any newer one that what I have already.
