Increase Vram On Intel Hd 3000?
Oct 29, 2012i have a laptop with following information:
core i 5 2450 (2.5 ghz)
4096 mb ram ddr3 1333
and intel hd 3000
i have 1632 mb shared memory and 64 mb dedicated memory what i want to know is how can i change my dedicated memory size can i increase it? in the benchmark shows intel hd 3000 in low resolousion can run pes 2013 with 35 fps but when i install the game (pes 2013) it gives an error and say you need minimum 128 mb of vram. i only have 64 mb vram so i awnt to know how can i increase i more to 128 mb?

Dec 14, 2012So I was going to update my driver, but the installer was giving me an error. So I decided I should uninstall the driver and see if that fixed it. My screen went black. I tried hooking it up to my tv with HDMI because I have a GeForce GT 525M as well, but it did not work.
I am currently on my Linux partition and I have access to my Windows partition. How can I install a driver by pasting files or whatever.

Sep 22, 2009i just got windows 7, and i love everthing about it, exept one little thing...
i cannot install my microsoft lifecam vx-3000 driver software on it....
i have tried to download it of the microsoft website. but it would not download for me. i do not have the disk that came with the cam, because i got the cam with a monitor that i won used on ebay... so i am either asking for an alternitive download for the driver software, or for an alternitive way to install the software.
the windows 7 machine is not currently hooked up to the internet, but it will be by the end of the week for sure... so, any suggestions?

Screen Resolution Problem On Dell Dimension 3000
May 2, 2009I just installed Windows 7 RC 7100 (a fresh install) on a Dell Dimension 3000 PC (33 GB HD, 2.8 GHZ processor, 1.25 GB SDRAMM) which I bought used. I believe the PC is a few years old. I always set the 23 inch CRT screen to a 32 bit, 1024 X 768 resolution.
The Screen Resolution window has no drop down menu, as shown in the help screen shots -- its frozen at one setting (around 468 X 600). When I go to Advanced Options, then Monitor settings, I can get a choice of resolutions, but all except a 468 resolution at 16 bits horribly pixilate the screen image.
I've never had any problem with desired settings from this PC when using XP. I also found that the PC's hardware doesn't support Aero -- could the video card or a driver be the problem?
Any suggestions?

Dell Dimension 3000 No Sound But Everything Installed Correctly
Oct 26, 2012I bought a second hand Dell Dimension 3000 running Windows 7. I have no sound. The drivers are installed in Device Manager (Realtec AC'97), and also (Uniplex Half Modem) both under sound, video controllers. There are no exclamation marks in device manager. All drivers are up to date. Dell diagnostic and Microsoft Fix it both say everything is ok. There is no sound from internal speaker. I tried external speakers via green jack at back & front of machine but there is no option to select these speakers. If I try to play music then nothing happens. When I access the sound option there is a green 'equalizer bar' which goes up and down to tell music is playing...but I can't hear anything. I have checked and mute is not selected-volume is set to 100%. I opened the machine and behind the jack plug seems to be closed with no removable parts. I downloaded the latest Audio Driver from Dell but it says its not compatible with my OS.
I think I've covered everything I've done.

My WEI with 4 GB RAM was 6.6 and after upgrading to 8 GB of Crucial RAM it was 6.6. I knew the difference from 4 to 8 would be negligible but I thought I would see a better score. The system does see 8 GB RAM by the way.
