Can anyone assist with locating driver for HP ScanJet 4400c unsupported in OS Windows Ultimate x32.It would be great to have the use of this OS XP scanner working with OS W7 ultimate x32 if possible.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI need to disable driver signing on win 7 ultimate. The easiest way to do this I am told is push f8 on startup and disable from that menu. This doesn't work for me. During startup, I've tried pressing f8, holding f8, pressing f8 really fast, at any and all times, I was restarting my comp for like a half hour straight. Yes I am pushing it before windows loads. I have also tried opening cmd.exe in admin, and tried to turn on test mode or test signing.
(bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON)
This also does nothing. When I restart there is no watermark that says test mode and I cannot run an unsigned driver. I have also tried to run Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b. I am aware of the risks of disabling driver signature enforcement so don't bother.
I just upgraded from xp-pro to Windows 7 and all my sound drivers and my ethernet controll drivers dont work I looked up my driver's Vendor ID and it was 3Com (which is now owned by HP)
