i have a Epson lq 870 dot-matrix printer and i can't install it on a Windows 7 machine. is there a possibility to install it on a other way. On the Epson website i didn't find the drivers.
I thougt to install a virtual machine with my inventory software that needs the printer. I read somewhere that windows 7 has a modus to emulate winxp. does it work also for drivers or only for software?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Epson TX125 printer. This model is not available in the United States. I am retired and went to South America where I bought this printer. The driver was only in Spanish which doesn't help me. I know there is an English Version of this driver as I see it on the web. However, when I download it the file is really just a scanner driver for the TX125 which does work. But, I need the printer driver in English. Of course my XP operating system is English. Most downloads, even to get the download you have to submit to putting a bunch of garbage on the computer like search engines, etc.I contacted Epson and they e-mailed back with no help saying to contact the region I bought it. Well, try getting something done in South America, forget it. They say only the driver for Spanish. But, before my computer crashed I had the English driver because it was installed. But, I lost it. The Epson nx125 does not work.where I can get this driver or a compatible for the TX125.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried the suggested fixes but I cannot get Epson Scan to open. I have Windows 7 Priemium 64 bit and Epson Perfection Scanner V300. The software that came withe the scanner has no driver for windows 7 but I have the updated software from the Epson site for Windows 7.
I have uninstalled the driver in the device manager and loaded the updated software but Epson Scan still will not open.
Can guess I not doing something in the correct order.
I am running Win 7 64Bit, i have tried all the drivers available on the epson web site (XP / XP 64Bit / Vista / Vista 64Bit) in every different type of compatibility mode, has anyone got an idea how to get this scanner working?

Epson Stylus CX3200 All-in-one driver will run the scanner without problems!
1. Download the Stylus CX3200 driver here and expand the files out to your hard drive.
2. Plug your scanner in and let windows 7 complain that it can’t install it correctly.
3. Open your Device Manager and right click the unknown device it has detected.
4. Click Update Driver and browse to the location you placed the driver files.
5. Choose the CX3200 driver and tell Windows you want to install it anyway, even though it isn’t known to work with your hardware.
Any TWAIN compliant scanning software should work fine now with your Epson Perfection 610!
