I would like to have all of them in one inbox when i get mail like outlook and windows mail?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI did the SP1 update on the weekend. I don't know if this is why this has happened but Windows live Mail, when opened, is now empty. All of my emails, settings, contacts and accounts are gone. I can see all the folders when I look under C:Users... but I don't know how to restore all of it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get way from the nightmare of Windows Live Mail 2011, mostly due to two bugs that are still in the latest version of the program.
I'm trying to migrate from WLM2011 to Outlook 2003 and I have run into a brick wall on importing my email accounts. Microsoft has extensive help pages on migrating TO Windows Live Mail, but apparently they do't think anyone would ever want to go FROM Windows Live Mail.
There is a good article at Migrate from Outlook Express or Windows (Live) Mail to Outlook | HowTo-Outlook which covers migrating the messages and contacts, but no one seems to have found any way to get your account data from WLM into Outlook. WLM will export the account data as iaf files (just like Outlook Express did) but Outlook doesn't recognize the iaf files.
I found a couple of old Outlook help pages that talk about importing IAF files, but the procedure shown does not work because Outlook doesn't ever give you any chance to tell it where to look for the IAF files, it just says "No internet accounts were found to import"
I use Outlook 2010 to process several email accounts. I noticed a few days ago that a couple of the email accounts had vanished from the list. I also noticed that one still present was not sending or receiving. I tried re-entering the password and when that didn't work I deleted and re-entered the account. It tests fine but the test message never shows up in my Outlook inbox. It does show up immediately on my phone when I check my mail there.

I tested the accounts from home and they work?The office computers are running office 2003-2010 so its not a problem with versions.All computers run off the same network which doesnt have a server or any external firewall. They all run off a home style network.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been running windows7 for a year now on my pc. Its super fast and I love it. However; I have struggled to get Home Groups to work, and there are some other aggravating issues that I think I'll clear up by re-installign windows. I'll be using my family pack of Windows7 Upgrade DVDs to get it done. Currently, I have a kingston 128 (maybe its bigger, don't recall) SSD that I keep my OS on. I have a 1TB HDD that I keep my data, user profiles, and all temp files on. So, I currently have a drive letter "D" that is the 100MB reserved partition. I already don't like keeping all my stuff on a second drive, but the idea that its on "F" is really odd to me.

When I right click on the file, and click send to email recipient, i get an error telling me no email program is associated to perform this action.I don't have any stand alone email program s installed. I strictly use web based email (gmail & hotmail) as my mail programs. I do not wish to install a stand alone program such as outlook or Thunderbird. How can I associate my request to email to a recipient to automatically go to my web based email platform (gmail or hotmail) and send the mail?I cant seem to find a hack or a small program to install to tell Windows 7 to use my web based email as my program!

In XP and using Opera browser, if I clicked on an web page's email link, my email client (Sylpheed) would open with the address inserted. With Win 7 and the email defaults set, it won't. Instead, it always returns an "Internal communication error" page (example link: Contact Us | PCWorld). Below are screenshots of my Win 7 email defaults and Opera preferences setting. One thing I'm not sure about, if it's at all relevant, is where Opera is picking up the default application from. In XP, it picked up Opera email as the default. The Other Application file location shown is exactly the same in both, except for the drive letter.

Activesync works perfectly on my phone so that portion of the network is open at my work. I have been doing some reaserch and in order to get Outlook to sync with Exchange Server without VPN, RPC over HTTP or Outlook Anywhere must be enabled on the network. I know for a fact that our IT department have that portion disabled.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe husband uses Windows Live as his email client and the wife uses direct Road Runner.They both use the same computer.hen the husband tries to send email to his wife's email acct, she never receives it.Yet he can send emails to me and I am a Road Runner email address. So I know that his Windows Live is set up correctly.His wife's email is working fine directly through Road Runner as she can send and receive emails.SO... Seems to me the issue has something to do with using the same computer and he never signs out of Windows Live. (I personally use Outlook as I am a business and am not familiar with Windows Live)

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen in the my document folder - there is an option to highlight a file and click the "Email" link which is present on the light blue bar at the top of the screen.On another Windows 7 machine I have seen - a dialogue box pops up when you click this link and you can choose which email client to send this the file to.Does anybody know how I can make this happen - and get such a dialogue box to show options for AOL 9.6 software and or Outlook 2007 / Windows Mail. I have all 3 running on my system and different email accounts setup in all (happy to leave it that way).
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the seemingly common issue with the last user and the 'other user' showing on the login screen, and once I finally dealt with it (well sort of, but that's another post for another time), I was back onto the standard user account I was missing, and was happy to be back with my old files. When I was dealing with that whole login issue I had been using a new account I set up that would work for the time being. Once I got this account back, I deleted that old account but chose "save files" (or some phrase along those lines) and assumed they'd be under the account 'Administrator'. But I looked on my files logged into Admin and in that folder, nothing is there.So then, I typed in C:Users in the start bar and found a list of ten or so accounts I managed to angrily make and use and not use in the last few months. All of them, one or two more than the others, have files I need. My question is this: Is there anyway to "combine" all the files from these accounts, since they seem to still exist although the accounts don't since I click on them from the list and up come the files, and have them on this account I'm logged into that I've gained back?

When I decided to delete them, I chose to keep the files just in case. Now I realize I don't need them but it won't let me delete them.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have installed two ssd's in raid 0 configuration all I want to do is tranfer my e-mails from my old C drive, I tried easy transfer but it did not transfer my e-mails or accounts. I did what was previously suggested on this forum, I booted from my old C drive exported my e-mail accounts to a folder on another drive then booted from my new drive and imported them it worked, I got the accounts but no e-mails is this correct ? Where are e-mails kept in win 7 if I could find them I could copy them to a folder then copy them to windows live on my new C drive

I click the little "ok" button and see two user accounts, myself (BlackViper) and "Other" with no picture, and a blank for the password.I have no password on my account, but when I click on the icon associated with my account, it asks for one. I can leave it blank and log in just fine.I then "log off" and see three user accounts at the log in screen (Administrator), (BlackViper), and (Anawvyah). At this point I can access any of the three, and they all work just fine and the correctly associated pictures are there...

I can have only the admin account with these other accounts deleted without it causing any computer problems correct? I believe this is the case but I just want to make dang sure first.

View 3 Replies View RelatedA month or so ago I noticed I could not listen to Cartalk (A PBS radio show) online when I always could before. Tried to troubleshoot. Reset IE8 and still no joy. It works just fine with Google Chrome so I know it is related to IE8.
Just created a new account (standard vs. my admin) and of course I can listen just fine on that account. Again tried to troubleshoot. Looked at add-ons. Made them identical, still no joy. Once again completely reset IE8 and still nothing.
So why would the website work just fine with the standard account and not my admin account? This is driving me crazy. I know I can use the standard account or chrombut I really want to know why this is happening.
not all my user accounts are showing it shows the user account of the last person that logged in and then it shows other user then when i click on it i have to type my user name and password in i dont want other users to show up just all the accounts
