I have been going crazy trying to get my Canoscan 4200F to work with Win 7 64 bit Home Premium.
I downloaded the 64 bit driver from Canon & under "Device Manager" it says that it is working.
I try to use "TWAIN" in several photo editing programs & it says " cannot connect to device, Cable may be unplugged". When I select Device in the photo editing software it lists "canoscan 32-32"
Some times I get a notice that says "Must use WIA driver",
It works great under Win 7 RC-1 32 bit using paint shop pro 6.
This may be hopeless, but I have an ancient Canon flatbed scanner Model CanoScan FB 620U. Does anyone know where I might find a Win 7 driver for this old beast?
I select printers & devices select canoscan lide 500f my scanner I get a message saying a wia driver for the scanner to operate I can not seem to find a wia driver for the scanner Help. I have win 7 64bit.
I can't get my canoscan Lide 30 to install on my new computer with windows 7 64, and canon are only saying buy a new scanner cause they don't have any drivers for it. if someone knows how to fix this.
I'm looking for a driver (Windows 7) for my canoscan n1240u scanner. All I can find are places that want to download a "driver-checker" and offer to fix drivers they claim are out of date. I don't trust these places, and Canon itself doesn't offer a driver for Windows 7.
i just installed my canon scanner driver from the CD inot my new PC window 7 - but it can't be found after installation - i think i need a driver compatible with window 7 - right?
My original CD that came with the CanoScan Lide 35 scanner is not recognized by Windows 7 on my new PC. I have attempted to download the latest available drivers for the scanner, but they do not work. With Windows 7 so new will a new driver be available soon?
