good morning everyone, I've been reading on a tech site that Windows 8 will not run adobe flash player, then I came to doubt, as the videos will run from the internet without this plug-in?
I just bought a now CPU with Windows 7 64-bit. I'm using IE 8.On a few internet sites, I'm told that I need the lastest version of Adobe Flash Player. After I down load it (from the Adobe site),I'm still told that I need it. When I check the un-install a program screen, it's there. When I tried to install the player again, the screen tells me that it's already installed. I also find a "fix" for IE 8 and Adobe Flash Player that I down loaded from there site. Still no luck with IE 8.I installed Goggle Crome on the advise of a friend and the same internet sit that told me to install the player is working find.Is there any way to get IE 8 to reconize Adobe Flash Player.
I'm running 64 bit win 7 pro and cannot download adobe flash player. I've tried several times without success.... there seem to be issues with win 7 explorer and adobe flash player. I can download Flash player.
I disable my (Avast) anti-virus program, but I don't know how to do this!

I have read other posts suggesting that AFP work with Win7. what am I doing wrong? I'm using the 64-bit version of Win7. which OS do I select from the Adobe download site? I had had assumed that Vista would be the closest option, however, I am no closer to viewing online video content having installed AFP.
My Adobe Flash Player doesn't work, everytime I go to a video on the internet, a box with a circle, triangle and square comes up in the corner, when I install it and open IE, my dad's favourites and stuff shows up, but when I close it and open it again, it goes back to mine and IE doesn't work again,
When I access a video I get a message from "Adobe Flash Player Storage Settings: Local storage settings is requesting permission to store information on your computer" then two buttons, Allow or Deny.

I am running Windows 7 (32-bit) SP1. IE9 for my browser and my problem is everytime open a new session in the browser I am asked at some point to install Adobe Flash Player all over again. It will install successfully everytime, however, it is very annoying that I must re-install this software every-single time. Additionally, I see that in my 'Services' Adobe Flash Player Update Service is STOPPED and It will not START regardless. Manual, Automatic, Delayed.does not matter the Service will not START.
