I cannot make connection between my Laptop and my phonecell by bluetooth. I have turned on the bluetooth device both in My laptop and My phonecell. They can find each other. But the conection always fail because my windows 7 cannot find the bluetooth peripheral device driver on update windows 7.I have even downloaded drvupdate-x86.exe, but it's not work too.

But computer is informing that bluetooth peripheral devices are not installed successfully. I can`t transfer any file from the phone to the laptop. Because phone does not find the laptop via bluetooth. But I can transfer files from laptop to the phone.

I have the drivers installed and everything seems as if it should be functioning properly. However, I am not able to pair my two Android devices or my Turtle Beach PX5 headset. I was able to connect with my printer so I'm sure the device itself is working properly. I'm just not sure what I am doing wrong with my other devices.

So on to trying to connect: I go to "Add a Device" and search for Bluetooth devices while I turn on the searching mechanism on my NXT Lego brick. However, my laptop is unable to find it. I know the brick's bluetooth is working fine because it was able to connect to my iPod and even an outdated flip phone. To you NXT owners: what can I do? I will give additional information if inquired.

Right now, I have to go through several windows to get to a "connect" button, when it really should just be a double-click on a "connect" shortcut. So far, my google searches have only turned up instructions on how to make a shortcut to "Bluetooth Devices" window, that shows your paired devices but does not have a "connect" option for them. So for my purposes that shortcut is useless.

I want to use it with my laptop as stereo headphones (listening music) + internet telephony headset (voice chats, skype etc). First of all it was pain to connect the this headphones with laptop. It took me many many many tries to pair this correctly. Now that its connected, I cant get it to make a connection between laptop and headphones. I tried pressing the button on headphone to initiate a connection, and also tried to make connection by pressing the connect button in headset's bluetooth control window with no results. However it does connect once in a while (I would say less than 10% of the times). The same setup used to work fine when I had vista. What is wrong with Windows 7?

I bought a cheap USB bluetooth dongle to enable my PC to connect to my bluetooth devices and these headphones don't work. My PC pairs fine with my phone so I don't think anything is wrong with the USB. It discovers the headphones when I try to add a bluetooth devices and recognises them as headphones but when I go to add the device I get this error: "Adding the device failed resulting in an unknown error. The reported error code is:0x80004005." I've had a look and I've read a few things about Windows 7 not supporting A2DP but I don't really understand what to do about it.
My setup:
Windows 7 64bit Prof (on a suped up PC)
Asus BT211 - BT 2.1 + EDR (full A2DP support with latest Windows 7 64bit drivers - Broadcom Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR driver version 6.3.5.430 (4/8/10)
Sony DR-BT101 Headphones - (Microsoft says they're compatible)
PROBLEM:All BT devices successfully installed and appear to be working. I can even find the A2DP device if I show all hidden devices in Device Manager. The headset pairs with no problems, Remote, Headset, Handsfree Telephony, and Audio Sink Services are available under device properties. However, non of the headphone services are available under "Playback Devices" or "Recording Devices".When I right-click on the Bluetooth system tray icon and select "Open Settings" then click on the "Audio" tab I can see all of the active services from my headset. All services show "disconnected" below them. When I right-click on a service (with the headphones on and in connectible mode - steady flashing blue) I can select "Connect" (the only place in Windows 7 I've found the connect function). When I try to connect, it shows "Connecting" for a minute or two then goes back to "Disconnected". The headset never appears to respond.SO... basically it appears everything should be working, but for some reason it isn't. I can PAIR but I can't CONNECT. I can install services but I can't actually use any of them.
I've tried everything, there must be something I'm missing. Others have said they got these headphones working with Windows 7, many have also had problems not just with these headphones, but a whole range of BT devices and connecting to Windows 7.I also have a Logitech BT MX5000 keyboard and mouse combo and they work fine.... well, when they're not lagging out or dropping out, they work fine.
Does anyone knows whether the Acer Aspire 5253-BZ661 laptop has a built-in bluetooth device in it? Reading from articles on the internet, I don't see any information regarding this laptop's particular model having a built-in bluetooth device in it but has a bluetooth driver and suite ready for the download at the acer main site.
View 6 Replies View Relatedjust last night after i was finished playing skyrim for the night, i saw on steam that i had no connection. so i looked towards the internet bars icon next to the clock and saw a yello triangle with a "!" in it. so i disconnected and reconnected but still the yellow "!". so i just decided i would try again tomorrow (today).when i woke up today it didn't have that error, so i decided to go to Internet on chrome, but it had that "webpage not available" (wouldn't work for ie either). i figured it would soon fix itself like it always had, so i tried playing mw3 on my xbox, but it wouldn't connect to live either o.o and when my mom wanted to watch netflix on the living room xbox, she couldn't connect either! then i figured out it was definatly my modem that was refusing to connect to anything.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a large screen TV that I need to run PowerPoint presentations on, and maybe video. The IT department set up Cat5 from the PC to the TV, but I cannot get anything from the PC to display.
I am trying this on two different computers. One is XP Pro, and the other is Windows 7 Pro. I would prefer the XP machine, but will sacrifice the Windows 7 machine to this if I have to.
Both the PC and the TV show connectivity at the ports, but there is no display on the TV. Multiple Monitors do NOT show in either machine.
I CAN connect to internet just fine using my wifi BUT I CAN NO LONGER connect to 198.192.1.1!!! Any idea how to solve this problem? I'm using a Dell Insprion 1545 and Win7 32-bit. I never had this issue before, jut popped up when I tried using ICS on a different laptop, an IBM thinkpad T42 also using Win7 and connected to the same network via wifi. Again I can connect to the internet just fine on all my laptops, but 192.168.1.1 (for my netgear router) returns "unable to connect" page!!! have verified (via ipconfig) that my gateway ip is 192.168.1.1. I have valid IPs on all the laptops, but cannot connect to router setup page.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Deltaco USB bluetooth adapter that I want to use to connect a wiimote to my computer to play games with.But when I plug the adapter in, the computer acts as if the up arrow-key is being constantly pressed down, making it scroll upwards or flip through options constantly. Nothing short of unplugging the USB-adapter makes it stop.This is terribly annoying. When I was using a evaluation version of Blue Soleil this problem went away when I fiddled with the wiimote.
Now I'm using Toshibas Bluetooth Stack for Windows though, and it wont go away at all. The wiimote works, but I can't do anything on the computer at all due to this.
