BSOD When Closing League Of Legends?
May 9, 2012
Im getting PFN_LIST_CORRUPT and MEMORY_MANAGMENT BSOD's very regularly when closing out league of legends games. The BSOD's only happen at the end of a LoL game when you press either victory or defeat, then there is a black screen for a few seconds while the game closes and either BSOD's or goes back to the score screen. I have 3 DMP files to be analyzed. WhoCrashed says that the latest crash was caused by driver "shareduserdata.sys" , i couldn't find this driver on my computer.

Just recently, my laptop has started BSoDing only while playing the game league of legends. I can be on my computer doing anything else for hours, but half an hour or 5 minutes on this game will sometimes crash my comp. It is relatively new (1.5 months), so hardware should not be an issue, correct? I have run memtest+ for 2 passes and it came up with nothing. I included a dxdiag report for system specs and hopefuly all of the required files.

So I have been having freezing problems for some time, the computer freezes and whatever sound was playing loops. I then reset the computer and it works okay for a while after. It normally freezes when I'm playing a game.
Just recently I had a BSOD which I don't normally get so I decided to post here since there was a new symptom. I have ESET Smart Security 5.0. I have included the report.

I got a BSOD a few hours ago while playing League of Legends. The computer that I am using is recently built with all new components. After my first BSOD, I was not able to get the minidump. Soon after, I replaced the MOBO and video card. Now, I just got a BSOD but this time i have the minidump.

I got a random BSOD while playing League of Legends on a new custom made gaming computer, which rapidly disappeared as the computer restarted. I selected to restore (as recommended) and got the same screen but it stayed. The only information provided is an error code of 0x000000F7...I attempted to start the computer in safe mode however I still got the same BSOD.Now the computer refuses to even start with no signal output to the screen. I also tried disconnecting all usb devices (mouse, usb wifi adaptor) due to the type of error but with no success. After a long time being off (I was out helping a family member out) I came back and tried once again and it logged on fine. I proceeded to run the windows update and before I could look at the drivers and error log I got the BSOD again. Now its back to no signal/startup.

I have windows 7 professional 64 bit, and I have BSOD's (Hi camandros, welcome to the group?)
PC:
intel core i3 540 @ 3.07GHz
4GB ram ddr3 800MHz (not sure the speed )
ATI radeon HD 5770 1GB
The problem is that I get BSOD's and I can't find a reason. Sometimes it happens right after windows starts, most times I'm gaming and others it seems just random.

I recently installed windows 7 64-bit. Everything's running great except for when I play games. Certain games will for fairly long periods (hours of game play) while others will crash within an hour. The only games that I get to enjoy are League of Legends, Batman: arkham asylum, and Fable III, the last two happen to be microsoft games. Others such as, battlefield 3, FEAR, FEAR 2, metro 2033 and others always seem to crash on me

During this time when ever i tried to play league of legends it would crash on the load screen. I bought new ram and every thing was fixed. Well, that issue is happening again and I've experienced two BSODs in the last couple months. Here is the thread from my issue before: Random BSOD, SF Diagnostic tool zip file attached.

i usually started to got alot of BSOD after closing games like PES 2012 or S4 League and this is becoming annoying . I used WhoCrashed v3.06 (HOME EDITION ) to analyze my BSOD and this is what i got after my last BSOD error when i closed a game: [code] I can't understand what those two BSOD means , but i think they are the problem . I will attach the dump file i got and the files that i got from the SF Diagnostic Tool.

I have:
Dell Laptop Inspiron 1440
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM Full
3 GB Memory (2 Gb and 1 Gb sticks)
On board video
On board sound
Intel Dual Core Processor
After I removed an iPod from my laptop I never had installed before I got the BSOD after I restarted the computer. The message stated "Windows failed to start a recent hardware or software change may be the cause". I have tried startup repair from the OEM disc and have had no luck after 5 or more tries. I can boot into safe mode fine and connect to the internet. It will not start normally. The two options you get are start normally or launch startup repair and both of these fail when attempting. It always shows the error code 0x0000007e but some of the code in the parathensis change each time I boot the computer.

If you don't believe me, install it and reboot -- you get a Windows is repairing install screen, wait about 1 hour and it will fail to repair, rebooting is the only option -- you'll be stuck in this cycle. The problem is actually with StarForce copy protection, but the more serious problem is that Windows 7 claims to block the StarForce driver install but it actually does NOT!!Wonder how many other copy protected games will do this.So much for security and so much for compatibility.Since I'm not a fanboy of any OS (although I prefer OSX), I'll post how you can recover from this disaster called Windows 71. during boot process, hit F8 to get the boot loader options (i.e. Safe Mode, etc.)2. There is an option to "permit unsigned drivers", select it3. Windows 7 will not boot4. Go find the unsigned driver (good luck as this will vary from copy protection scheme) and remove itAs far as StarForce the driver is under Hidden devices under Plug & Play devices. You can also download a removal tool from StarForce web site.

My desktop PC running Windows 7 64 bit behaves erratically when I close it down using the Start Orb - shut down button. Sometimes it closes down fully on other occasions the computer goes into a deep sleep, (the hard drive light continues to flash, the fans are running, the monitor screen goes off) but it will not respond to either the keyboard or the mouse, both of which are connected by USB cables.I then have to close down the computer by holding in the power button for about 10 seconds. When I next require the computer it boots normally and seems oblivious to its shut-down problem.I always ensure that no programs are running when I shut down the computer and cannot see any clues regarding what I was last doing before shut-down that might trigger a problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the USB device drivers to no avail.

I just got a new HP laptop running Intel Core i7 and Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm also using IE 9. A lot of times when I have a tab open in IE9, and open a new tab, either by clicking on the new tab, or a link inside the current page opens the new tab when I click it - when I'm done with what I needed and go to close the new tab, I get an error message 'Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working' IE freezes until I close the error window. It doesn't happen every time a new tab is opened - I just can't narrow it down to what is actually causing it.
