i recently installed a rtm windows 7 pro on my laptop (upgraded from xp), and now i'm starting to run into a little browser issues involving adobe flash.
Internet, and other video sites seem to work just fine, but for some odd reason, a couple sites, such as kotaku.com, always initiates some random adobe flash 9 "where is the debugger or host application running?" popup error. the real annoyance is however, that this message pops up repeatedly for maybe 8-10 times before this second error log message is displayed. i have no idea what this message even means.
i noticed there is a new adobe flash 10 version out, as well as shockwave 11, and have installed both, but in my firefox's browser plugin menu, shockwave flash is still listed as version 9... is there a way to completely remove this?
I run 7 64bit and when i try to install Adobe Flash Player for Firefox 32bit, it says "This program has been blocked for your safety" and doesn't install at all.
I'm administrator and there is no other user. I turned UAC all the way down but it didn't help. How can i install it?
i am having problem watching Internet videos. i can only hear the audio but the screen remains black. i tried to access the flash player settings but it is grayed out (there is no access to it). i have the latest flash player and my browsers are also updated.
i clean boot my system and installed latest adobe flash player on ie 9, ffox 4. i've tried all media sites like Internet etc. the flash player won't deliver full sound. it starts correctly, no video issues but after few seconds the sounds goes way lot, gets choppy..i've had no success in finding a solution to this. i've tried uninstalling flash player, installing archived versions...but no luck.
my pc is: win 7 pro 64 bit, amd phenom ii x4 955, 4gb ram and ati radeon hd 5770 gcard etc.
I have been experiencing BSOD on my windows 7 x 64 system. The computer is a home built computer as follows system built in november of 2011:
MB: Asus M5A99X EVO CPU: AMD FX 8120 Memory: Patriot PG34G1333EL Video Card: HIS Radeon HD 6970 OS Hard Drive is a Seagate ST310005 28AS SATA Hard Drive
I have installed the latest drivers and BIOS
The problem occurs when I am running Firefox 10.0 or Adobe CS5. On the surface I am guessing that I am having two issues one with the memory and one with a conflict on the video card. What I am not sure is if one problem is causing the other to occur. The Blue Screen message is MEMORY_Management I am also getting a message when Firefox crashes that it is a conflict with the video card. On occasion when I start adobe Photoshop CS5 from Adobe bridge I get a message that Photoshop has temporarily stopped GPU on the video card. I have run Memory checker and it finds memory problem but it is not specific if it is the RAM Memory or Video Card memory.
i cant get adobe flash to work in my rc build 7100 installed 5may to work. i have now tried about 10 times. it installs but i find the plug ins do not work in my browser ie7 and chrome. can someone advise me.
Win 7 Home Prem, MSE, SpywareBlaster. Adobe Flash appears to d/l, but the only place I can find it is Control Panel/Programs & Features. I've disabled as much of my security software as I can and then d/l it, with the same results.
I'm running Windows7 RC1 64bit. Most internet pages want me to download Adobe Flash Player. I suppose no one has told Adobe that they don't have a 64bit player. So, whether I say yes, download it or no, don't download it, the nagging continues.
Everytime I visit a site that uses Adobe Flash, it tells me I need to update to the latest version.. I download and re-install, and it works for awhile.. But eventually it asks me to update to the latest version again.. I keep updating to the same version, there is nothing new.. Why does it keep asking me to update, when I have the latest version?
I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I want to switch to 64-bit IE, but I can't find a 64-bit release of Adobe Flash Player (even alpha or beta). Can you help me?
i mean, it's enabled, but say for example, Internet, i click on a video, the player pops up and just freezes. then firefox freezes, same with ie. i'm on the latest version of flash.
I'm about to just reinstall Windows. Recently the sound on anything that uses flash in any browser is constant skipping/popping. The video timer moves as usual too. Any games, movies, etc. work just fine. I have tried about 5 different flash versions now and none of them work. I have tried to reinstall browsers too without luck. [code]
Can anyone figure this out? Operating Windows 7 (64 bit). Adobe Flash Player was working fine couple of days ago; after a Windows update, it no longer works. Tried to reinstall Adobe Flash 11, goes through installation process, completes it, brings up box that says "you are now using Adobe Flash Player 11." However, I can't watch videos.
good morning everyone, I've been reading on a tech site that Windows 8 will not run adobe flash player, then I came to doubt, as the videos will run from the internet without this plug-in?
my computer is about a month old. i am running windows7 (64 bit) and my browser if firefox. whenever i view a Internet video, once it's over, it hangs up for about a minute. i get the message "adobe flash plugin has crashed".
I just bought a now CPU with Windows 7 64-bit. I'm using IE 8.On a few internet sites, I'm told that I need the lastest version of Adobe Flash Player. After I down load it (from the Adobe site),I'm still told that I need it. When I check the un-install a program screen, it's there. When I tried to install the player again, the screen tells me that it's already installed. I also find a "fix" for IE 8 and Adobe Flash Player that I down loaded from there site. Still no luck with IE 8.I installed Goggle Crome on the advise of a friend and the same internet sit that told me to install the player is working find.Is there any way to get IE 8 to reconize Adobe Flash Player.

I use FF on Windows 7 and FF and Adobe Flash keep crashing when I play games on Facebook. I would like to go back to Windows XP because I did not have this problem at that time. I have tried to uninstall or clear Windows 7 but it won't allow me to go back to Windows xp. Sick of my programs constantly crashing. Definitely something to do with Windows 7.
