i'm thinking of upgrading my laptop acer aspire 5104 to Windows 7, but i couldn't find any drivers for the hardware.
I've also searched here, but no result
If there are, can any of you please help?
have drivers and software for the video camera. win 7 seems to always install usb 2.0 drivers even though I install the previous Vista suyin NB driver.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a new laptop for myself and chose the ACER Aspire 5349 series. It functioned properly and without fail for a week and then problems arose. My laptop began to shut off randomly and without warning. This happens if I am on battery or plugged in. To turn it on must remove any sources of electricity (power cord and battery) and then must hold the power button for 30 seconds once I release I must put the power cord back in start up the laptop then add the battery. This has been happening about 90% of the time and very randomly.

MY daughter was having problems with it simply turning off. After looking at and running Real Temp and Prime 95, I believed it was simple over heating .It is under warranty so I took it in for repair, I just picked it up and they said the fan and vents needed cleaning, that is why it is getting hot and shutting down.Now I re-ran Prime 95 and it still shut down after 1 hour roughly. Real Temp said it was 89 Degrees C.
So is this normal for laptops??? I costume build my PC and it never shuts down on running Prime 95. Even I did overclocked it.
Can blu ray DVDs be played on a acer aspire 5733 series model laptop??
View 7 Replies View Relatedi recently put Windows 7 Build 7000 on my Acer 5100 laptop, and i love it. the only problem i am having out of it is i can't get any of my USB's to work on it. i have tried nearly everything that i can think of to try to get them to work, and have succeeded twice, only to be let down later. the first time i got them working, they worked great for about three days. the second time, though, only three hours. If anyone can help me out with this problem i would greatly appreciate it.

I have an Acer Aspire 1800 that I installed Windows 7 RC onto. I was completely impressed with the ease of the installation and how it seemed to find a driver for everything on my laptop. Well almost everything. Apparently the Os can't find a driver for my wifi and the manufacturer doesn't seem to want to help.
Has anyone else used this particular laptop and ahd any luck? I hate that the only thing not having a driver in the Device Manager is the WiFi.
