Know What Hardware Motherboard Supports

Apr 22, 2009

I have a laptop and desktop, but the desktop is five or so years old. I need a new one, and retail is too expensive, but if a built one is even more expensive, I don't care - I make it and can upgrade it. How do I know what hardware my motherboard supports? I have seen computer cases with a component at the front that shows the stats (CPU Usage, RAM Usage, Hard Drive Usage, and a lot more) Is it part of the case? If not, where can I get it? What is it? Where would I go about getting RAM with LED's? Thats all for now, but I could add more later.

Nothing special but, it's a lot better than what I have now. What I would to know is if anyone knows what bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium the HP A6300F ships with, whether it's the 32 or 64 bit??????  Also, I would like to know if it supports Windows DVD Maker? Lastly, does it's dvd drive support all types of dvd burning or do I need other software also?

Vista 64 Supports Blue Tooth

Jan 3, 2009

I wanted to know if Windows Vista 64 natively supports bluetooth ? My bluetooth dongle adaptor is a BCM2045 and it comes with a software called Blusoleil, but I didn't want to install 3rd party software to control my bluetooth devices. When I plug it in, Windows try to find a driver but can't find it. If I install the software that came bundled (blusoleil) it works fine. But then I need to use this software to control devices. Doesn't Windows have a built in bluetooth software to control devices ?

Invetel Wireless USB Adaptor Not Supports This Device

Dec 26, 2008

Ive had a new PC for Xmas and its running Vista Home Premium 64Bit. Im looking for drivers for my wireless adaptor its a Invetel Wireless USB Adaptor (UR054g) Device Manager/Windows Picks it up as Cohiba 3887 Rev0

The company no longer supports this device, i remember they havent released a version for vista 32bit either, but i managed to get it working on Vista 32bit by using drivers for another wireless adaptor (I cant remember what one) If anyone has heard of this, knows any drivers that will work or has any they think might work please give me a link, ive been randomly trying different drivers all day, the closest i had it one that started to install but then i got an error saying the System Cannot find the specified file Here is a screenshot So if you know any drivers, have any to suggest or know what the above error means please post ASAP

Windows Mail No Longer Supports Http Servers

Feb 12, 2010

Used to access my Hotmail account using Windows Mail. After re-installing my O/S, Windows Vista Home Premium, I can no longer set this up. When I get to the point where it asks for my e-mail address I input this, click on next, and the message "Windows Mail no longer supports the http servers used by Hotmail.......". I remember this happened when I bought my computer but managed to get round it, but can't remember how. I have a paid subscription to Windows Live Onecare and believe this is something to do with the "paid " subscription referred to on other threads.
