Ballmer Backpedalling, Keep XP
Apr 24, 2008
MS is scared no one will buy windows anymore if they force vista (the worst OS microsoft ever made) onto people. so now they are backpedaling. I predicted this also. I knew they could not get rid of XP and force vista-crapista on to everyone. XP will not leave at all, until windows7 is out. And if windows 7 is like vista. well bye bye microsoft, ubuntu (new release today by the way) and MAC OSX

Ballmer says MS will keep XP if there is customer feedback, but he says he is not getting any to keep it. How to I send him or MS an email asking them to keep selling and supporting XP? Vista (I have it and do not use it) is a DOG and bloated resource hogging POS. XP is the greatest OS MS ever produced and I would like to give Ballmer that feedback.

Microsoft: XP Extension Is Not Happening Remember that little bit from Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, in which he noted that his company would do the customer-centric thing and extend Windows XP's life cycle if there was enough demand? Yeah, well it turns out that was just a joke. Microsoft returned to its iron curtain ways today with the following statement issued in the wake of XP-Gate: "Our plan for Windows XP availability is unchanged," a Microsoft spokesperson said. "We're confident that's the right thing to do based on the feedback we've heard from our customers and partners." Well. There you go.
