View 7 RepliesI was wondering if there was a way to get 32bit software to work on XP64? I just built a computer and am using the '30 day trail' person of a copy we already had. After it's over, I either have a worthless system or have to pay $150 for a copy of XP Pro. Or, another option I have is a copy of XP64 from my school, which I received with XP Pro (you can only buy one copy for lifetime). I'd like to use XP64 but most of the software I use are free software (AVG antivirus and SpyBot being the two main ones) and they don't work.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am about to purchase a new laptop for college and work purposes and I am debating whether to go for a great deal on a laptop with Windows XP Professional already installed and full MS Office Professional, or to get a home premium version of windows 7. I need to have excel and power point and word at least, if not outlook and publisher too. I simply can't figure out which would be my best option, any suggestions?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOur application using MSJVM suddenly stopped working on one of the computers. The user claims that the application worked well about a month ago and stopped after that. The precise time when it stopped workign is not knwoen. He does not recall running any Windows updates etc., after that. Is there any way we could use system restore or something like that to find the difference from the current configuration to the one about a month back?
