Reinstall - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Apr 25, 2006

First and foremost, I understand how it is annoying to have numerous computer-illiterate people join, ask a question, and then leave, but please bear with me. My graduation from high school in June relies on this problem being solved. Anyways, on to the issue.Recently, my computer's (I have Windows XP Home) spyware/adware problems have increased dramatically. My browser (Firefox then, on IE now on a seperate computer) got hijacked frequently, pop-ups were unbelievably frequent, and I experienced the general spyware annoyances. I ran various removal programs daily (Ad-Aware, Kaversky, Xoft-Spy) but more and more spyware programs kept coming.

BSOD On Startup Error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Nov 25, 2009

I'm getting the BSOD when I'm booting up my PC, and there are lines and such on the screen. It's the following error: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA 0x000000050 (0xF8A33DBC, 0x00000000, 0x8052B8F8,0x0000000000)
I have a Dell laptop, Inspiron E1705. I'm using Windows XP, Service pack 3. When I run it in safe mode the following is across the top of the screen:

Windows XP (R) (build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.090804-1435: Service Pack 3)

It BSOD'd the other night after I was browsing the internet. My computer was acting really sluggish, and I restarted it. Then I got the BSOD. I left it for the morning when I re-started it, and it started fine, for a few minutes, but after a minute or so I got the same BSOD. This happened several months ago and I fixed it by opening up my PC and re-setting the video card. I did it again and this time it didn't help any...........

Oct 11, 2006

Whenever i try to start a file for microsoft word(office version 2003); windows shut down abnormally and system shows an error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA on our beloved ''blue'' screen. system dumps memory and the count goes till 99 and after that i restart my machine and problem is still there. I dont let windows update itself automatically i.e. it has to ask me for update installation. I have also tried to re-install microsoft office 2003 on the machine but even that didnt work.
