Iiyama Vision Master Monitor Problem
since today I've got Windows 7 RC1 64Bit installed on my PC & I've got a cruel problem. I have an iiyama Vision Master Pro 454 and a desktop resolution of 1280x1024 with 100hz - until today! But, it seems to be, that this is not possible with Windows 7. Every time if I try to want to set the hz value to more than 85, the monitor automatically turns the value back to 85. In Counter Strike 1.6 it is the same. I've played with a resolution of 640x480 with 150hz. But now, everytime I start the game, it is in the window mode with 60hz. In the Nvidia System control there was an option where you can configure user-specific resolutions to get higher frequencies (like in CS 1.6, 150hz), but it's impossible to change there anything. I've already installed the latest Nvidia drivers for my 8800GTX and the monitor drivers as well. I have found an tutorial, but it doesn't helped me as well: GF8800GTX / Vista 64-bit / refresh rates > 100Hz ? Maybe someone has an another idea to help me?

Can't Set Native Resolution For Samsung 22 Monitor
I don't know whether this is a Windows 7 problem or a Catalyst problem, but here goes... I have installed Windows 7 (clean) and the latest Catalyst drivers for my ATI HD4850 card. My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 2243NW, a 22" panel with a native res of 1680 x 1050. I have installed the monitor driver from Samsung's website and the monitor is now showing correctly in device manager. When I right click on the desktop and choose "screen resolution", the "change the appearance of your display" screen offers only "display device on DVI" ion the drop down menu, not the Samsung monitor, and does not offer me the native resolution. The nearest is 1440 x 900. If I click "advanced" I'm taken to the catalyst driver screen which correctly identifies the monitor, but bizarrely still offers only the same choices of resolution as the Windows 7 screen. 1680 x 1050 just isn't there. Can anyone help me get my monitor to run at native res in Windows 7?

Monitor Doesn't Come Back From Sleep State
I went to sleep last night with the computer on (Windows 7 7077) like always and this morning it's still on but none of the usb devices are working, monitor doesn't come back from sleep state but the fans on all the components are still spinning. I tried hard rebooting 3-4 times and still nothing. I let it sit and cool off for a bit and still nothing. Anyone know what the problem could be? I was thinking it was the motherboard but then wouldn't the ethernet light be off if the board wasn't working? The only thing on the computer the has been overclocked is the CPU which I took from 3.0ghz to 3.8ghz and it's been running fine on the stock cooler for the past 6 months almost and then bam it's like this. I don't think it could of been over heating as the temps usually run 30C at idle and 50-60C at full load and the side is off of it.

ColorNavigator Monitor Calibration For Eizo Monitors Doesn't Work
When I start ColorNavigator to calibrate my Eizo monitor it says: "No adjustable monitor can be found" and wont start. The usb cable is connected and the monitor is identified by the pc in device manager usb list. It worked in Vista. I have tried to start the program in compatibility mode for Vista and XP but it doesn't work. This is a good reason for me to finally jump back to XP and eventually go all Mac...

Dual Monitor - Edge Resizing Doesn't Work On Inner Quarters
I have been very successful with my Windows 7 beta installation. My main issue at this point is that when using my dual monitor setup (which worked perfectly right out the box) with my Nvidia 8800GT video card, is that the edge effects (resizing window to half screen) does not work for the left side of the right screen and the right side of the left screen – AKA the middle of the 2 monitors. This is quite a deal breaker since I can get half screen windows on the outer extremes of my monitors but not in the middle therefore negating the effect of the excellent feature.

Extended Monitor From Laptop Doesn't Default Laptop When Unlocked
I have my HP 8530 docked on an HP docking station which has an external monitor connected to it. I extended my desktop between the 2 and made the external monitor the primary display. When i un-dock the laptop it does not auto change this and make the laptop screen the default again so all i can see is the extended portion of the laptop. Is this a feature or a glitch?

Dual Monitor Display Cut Off On One Monitor - Nvidia Gtx 280
I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and am experiencing a dual monitor problem using my nvidia gtx 280. I am using driver version 8.17.11.9562 according to control panel. One monitor is an ASUS 19" and the other is an ASUS 22". The left 19" monitor displays perfectly but the second 22" (right monitor) has the display shifted hoirzontally to the left so that part of the screen is cut off. I have tried to adjust this using the monitor's horizontal adjust feature but even when it is adjusted 100% to the right (deFault is 50%) part of the display is cutoff. Does anyone know of another way that this display can be corrected?

'doesn't Have A Valid IP Adress' Error
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Evaluation version 7100. The driver for the ethernet connection is some sort of Intel driver built in with the Dell E520 Motherboard. The thing is, the wireless works. I use a D-Link Xtreme N Desktop Adaptor (DWA-552). But my computer is in such an awkward location in the house that it's not really an excellent option, so I got 20m of ethernet cable to hook up my PC to the router which is a D-Link DI-614+. The Router and modem are connected to a PC that is running Windows XP. When I plug in the cable to my computer it sorts it out for a while but it ends up saying it doesn't have a valid IP address? This only occurs with the ethernet cable and not the wireless. Could this be a case that my computer is too advanced? What if I rolled back to 32-bit or XP? The drivers for the DI-614 are already at the latest, and D-Link discontinued support for it like 5 years ago. There are several other computers in the network and they work with the ethernet cable and wireless too, but they're all XP. So it's probably something with Windows 7. Having stable connection to the internet is just the main goal I want here.

Samsung Monitor Driver
I've had an ongoing problem with this for some time now. You can see here that my Device Manager tells me that I'm missing a video controller, and also in that post is my inability to watch full screen videos online. Here, I talk about the problems I've had with my display driver crashing. Now, yesterday I downloaded Photoshop, and as it opened, a window popped up saying that my "monitor Profile" is defective and needs to be calibrated (See first attachment). If I choose to Ignore Profile, I can use Photoshop as usual, but everything I export has an irremovable yellow tinge. If I choose to Use Anyway, there is no white in Photoshop's color pallet, only the same yellowish color. This got me thinking for the first time that my monitor was the cause of my problems, so I searched online for Samsung 2243swx drivers. On their webpage, they had up for download only one driver, which is for a VGA graphics card (See second attachment). I've been running a PCI graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS), and I was wondering if this could be the problem. Would you say I ought to buy a VGA graphics card?

Samsung SyncMaster 943NWX Monitor Problems
I have an old HP Pavilion t730m desktop pc. It has an onboard Intel 82865 G Graphics Controller, with a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 943NW lcd monitor and 2.0 GB Ram and Pentium 4. Currently it is running on Windows Vista Ultimate without Aero Effects, but everything else is working perfectly. I would like to upgrade to Windows 7, as a matter of fact I've done it twice now, but whenever I do it I have monitor resolution problems, either I'm stuck with an 800X600 resolution or other options but not the current resolution of 1440x900 that looks great. So I have restored my backup of the Vista installation. Sometimes when I change the monitor resolution, I get an incomplete screen display and a black bar on the right end of the monitor. I would really like to upgrade to Windows 7 since my computer seems to run better than with Vista, but the screen resolution is very annoying.

Can't Stream To Samsung TV
I just got a new Samsung LN46B750 TV. On the PC side I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (RTM). The Samsung sever app does what it says it will do, although it's not terribly exciting. I would like to be able to stream from Media Player (and, ultimately, Media Center). Media Player can see the TV but the TV does not see Media Player when I try to Play To. MP gets hung with a message "Contacting Media Server". (The TV has the latest firmware updates.) Can someone tell me what I need to enable to make this work?
