Pavilion Zt3000 Notebook Internet / Driver Problem
I'm using windows 7 beta on an old hp pavilion zt3000 notebook built for XP and W2K. Now, I can't connect to the internet according to the device manager there is a "network controller" driver missing.
I already tried to use the CD I have, I downloaded stuff from the internet, I tried to install it using the compatibility mode but nothing works.
I still can't connect to the internet. It only says it can't get an IP which I think is because of the missing driver. I tried using cable and Wifi but neither of them seems to work.
I can't get any vista drivers for my notebook cause it's simply way to old.

there is no way to get into the Internet. I tried almost everything like using XP drivers and stuff, even installing in the compatibility mode. But still there is no way - not wired and not wireless. I suppose that my computer doesn't provide any vista drivers because it's way to old. any suggestions to solve that problem apart from just using a different machine;)

Audio Driver For HP Notebook Pavilion Dv2312us
It's not a huge problem, but just found out the WIN 7 audio driver for my HP notebook Pavilion dv2312us will not be available for another 2-3 months. Using the current driver, I get a POP sound when it goes into sleep mode or shuts down. I also don't have a mute function. I hope the POP sound is not damaging to the computer. I was on the driver page for this computer and the Win 7 audio driver is not listed. So then I went into a chat - he gave me a driver that wasn't compatible at all. Had to go back to my other generic IDT driver which causes problems above.

Windows 7 x32 installation stop after checking the disk that has no driver found to continue with the installation. My Pavillion notebook has a Intel(R) 82801GBMÂ Â SATA AHCI Controller (Mobile ICH7M) where even I reload the specific driver files through USB stick could not complete the installation process.

HP Pavilion M9350f Internet Problem
I recently posted a problem relating to my pci-e wireless network card not being detectable at all by windows 7, while when i go back to vista, it works fine. This means I can't get Internet for Windows 7, leaving it useless in many ways. Now I tried every single driver that's listed on HP's website (Select software and drivers*), and whenever I try to install any of these drivers, it always comes saying that my system does not meet minimum requirements. My system is great, (I'll post stats below), so I know it has to do something with the drivers not being capable with windows 7. I tried running all of them in capability mode (Vista, XP, so on), with no luck. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get this Network Card: (Ralink Technology Corp Ralink Technology Corp pci-e network card) to work with windows seven? Maybe Im not using the right driver^^look at website above, so if Im not can someone lead me in the right direction? Overview: My computer's running windows vista and windows 7(on another partition), does not pick up my pci-e network card while running windows 7. I tried the drivers from the website listed above that has all of the latest drivers for my system on windows 7 itself, with each one saying my system is not compatible (9998) <<that must be error code. Tryed running them in capability mode, didn't work. They all worked on vista. p.s. i tried driver wizard with no luck. HP DV1648US Notebook And Win7 HD Audio Driver
I have an HP DV1648US laptop that I installed Windows 7 Professional on. On the HP Website, HP states that they will not support Windows 7 on this laptop. The installation went fine and the systems runs. The only issue is that the HD Audio driver that Windows 7 installed failed. I uninstalled the driver, went to the HP site and downloaded the Vista Audio driver and it appears to function (This device is working properly). Problem is I hear no sound. The first time I installed it, the sound did work. After running all of the updates from the Windows update service there is no sound. Nothing is set to mute or anything else I can see. Am I missing something?

Notebook Nvida 8200m Driver Problem
im running a 8200m on my compaq, the problem is....windows update wont give me the nvida driver update option...and when i go to device manager or advanced options to view the card properties and im told i have a 8bit gpu with a total of 14mb of gpu memory...it does however recognize its a nvida chipset....any advice? computer runs like crap without drivers

Missing Base System Device Driver For Notebook
I've did a clean install of windows 7 on my notebook (compaq). On my device manager, it reflects missing driver for 'base system device'. I tried locating on HP's website but to no avail. Tried updating from microsoft doesn't seem to work as well. Can anyone help?

Nvidia Notebook Display Driver Update Crash
When i got my windows 7 (64 bit) i deleted all my vista off my laptop with the drives.I then installed windows 7 64 bit ultimate and used drive genius to update my drivers all of my drivers work great. Then i decided to test the new windows and got system accesses and edited the imageres.dll (could not put it back in) and i used my disk and blu blu blu reinstalled windows 7 a few days later i try updating my drivers but every time i update Windows 7 Nvidia notebook display driver it crashes my system and i use my restore point (i make lots) Is this a Nvidia driver update issue, did they mess this update up or is it something else and please tell me how to fix this (by the way windows 7 is great!)

Microsoft Optical Notebook 3000 Mouse Without Driver
I find rather strange that Windows 7 doesn't have a proper driver for the Mouse that is developed and sold by Microsoft. I found HID compliant Mouse in Device manager instead of the Intellipoint. I'm having some problem regarding the pairing on bluetooth with my Sony Ericsson K810i. I'm trying to pair my phone with my PC, using SE Pc Suit 5.0 and Windows 7 RC. I have a HP 6730s notebook PC with built in bluetooth. Everything worked well on beta, but on RC, afet i enter the paring code on my phone the bluetooth connection disconnects. I've also tryied paring with other phones, but the same problem appeard. I've tryied to search for new drivers, but couldn't find. Any idea why it worked faultess on Windows 7 Beta, and can't get working on RC? What should I do?

I have a HP Pavilion dv5250 and I downloaded the vista video drivers from HP's website and the say I'm installing them on the wrong OS and ends installation. Has anybody found a way around this issue? I know this is HP's fault, not Microsoft's. I am running a Nvidia GeForce Go 7400.

Graphic Driver Hp Pavilion Dv9700 - BSOD
when I install the graphic driver for windows 7 it gives me the BSOD when I boot up the computer. The reason is the nvlddmkm.sys file that gives the BSOD. The only way to boot it up is to run it in safe mode. I got a hp pavilion dv9700 with nVidia GeForce 8600M GS with 512mb.

HP Pavilion Dv6000 Graphic Card Driver
I have installed Windows Seven on my HP Pavilion laptop. Everything works just fine, except the Aero feature. The taskbar, for example, is dull and grey, instead of being glass-like and transparent. I did a problem sweep with Windows, and it said that I had to install the graphics card driver. I cannot seem to find it, however. What am I supposed to do?

Driver For Ralink Wireless LAN Card On HP Pavilion M9350F
For some reason, Windows 7 does not find any adapters on my computer. I have heard that Netgear does not support Windows 7 yet, (Aren't vista drivers supposed to work on Windows 7 anyway? I have a WPN111 adapter) so I'm using a built in pci-e Ralink for my adapter that came with my comp. I downloaded the most recent driver for it off of HP's site, but when I install it on Windows 7, it comes out saying that my system does not meet the miniumum requirements.

I just installed Windows 7 Beta on my HP Pavilion Dv9000 laptop and everything is working really well, but in device manager I have 2 items listed under Other Devices that say Base Sytem Device. I am assuming I need some kind of driver for them, but I am not sure how to tell what they are or what driver they will need. How do I figure this out? If I get the properties of these devices under the general tab I see Device type: Other device, Manufacturer: Unknown, and Location: PCI bus 9, device 9, function 3.
