WEI Index Not Showing Motherboard Name/model
Aug 2, 2012So when I open up windows expereince index to get my scores I hit view detailed info/print thingy. When it opens it does not show my motherboard manufacturer or model name and it kind of bugs me. My old custom built pc didn't have any problems with that and now my new one does. Mar 25, 2012I have a burnt up motherboard in my laptop. My question is do I have to match the exact model to the one that is in there already inside? Or can I get one alittle cheaper? The one that is inside is around $200, and I was hoping to spend a bit less.Me and hubby can replace and change out anything on a desktop, and even build one from scratch.But laptops aren't our thing.This one is an ASUS K52F REV 2.0. Any suggestions, or do I have to match it up with what is factory?

Mar 6, 2011i just finished my build and i have no idea why i went for a motherboard with 2 slots for ram it can hold up to 16gb but luckly ebuyer sent me out an extra 4gb of kingston hyperx ram so i have 8gb all together but theres a problem theres 4 sticks ! obviously i wouldnt want to send it back so what do ya think either upgrade my motherboard and smash the extra 4 gb in there or keep to my original one i dont have money to blow atall im really struggling if its something that will really make a difference ill go with it if not then ill just keep to my original and when i come to buy a graphics card i will get a 2gb graphics card to help with gaming?
