Lexmark X5150 Don't Print
Jun 14, 2011I recently install Windows 7 Professial x86 on my computer and I would like to install my Multifuctions Lexmark X5150.So I browse on this forum and I find out about compatible mode. I try with windows vista driver but only the Scanner work the printer driver does not connect.I uninstall everything and try with my CD and run with windows XP compatibility and the printer driver connects and the scanner too I can use the scanner but when I try to print anything with word or a test page or a page from internet, or anything the printer don't print, so I went to device and printers, open printer status and when I send something to print the printer said it's offline and doesn't print anything.

Jul 29, 2011people i selected the vista 32 bit version but at the end of installing it says if usb is connected and power on insallation should continue but it did not and canceled it but in my folder printers and faxes there is an pictogram with the name lexmark Z600 series with a yellow triangle warning me something is wrong and when i follow the steps to correct the problem it comes up with:there is no newer version of your driver.

Feb 22, 2011I will be the first to admit that when it comes to drivers etc, I'm not an authority or really a person with a great deal of knowledge etc.
I have a Lexmark x342n All in One printer (print/copy/fax) and have not used it for quite some time as I just use the university printers. However with university being on holidays I was hoping to use the scanner however, now that I have Windows 7 (I used to use Windows XP) everything but the Scanner Interface has a driver for it when I plugged it in.
I have tried on the Lexmark site and used the drivers there however these all create a new printer in my control panel -> printers area that does not print at all, yet the printer that appears in the same area when Windows 7 automatically installed drivers upon plugin will print but not scan. When I try and find a driver for the Scanner Interface it just says that "device driver did not install properly"
