Error Message From Adobe Reader

I installed Win 7 RC1 on my Toshiba Satellite A135 as an upgrade to Vista Home Premium.  I already had Adobe Reader 8 installed and it seems to work allright when I use it to open a file.

When I log into my secure, online banking site using IE8, Adobe starts up also and displays this message:  Cannot use Adobe Reader to view PDF in your web browser. Reader will now exit. Please exit your browser and try again.

I have tried running the application compatibility tool and found no issues.  The browser continues to work fine, so I'm not sure what would cause this to occur only when I log into this one particular site.

Shuttle Card Reader PC 23 (USB) - Error Code 10
I have tried several times to use my Shuttle Card Reader (PC23) that is connected to my mainbord on a free internal extended USB connector. Error message : Error Code 10 - can`t use device.

If I insert a SD Card in the SD slot on the Card Reader, and use the hardware trobleschooting in Windows 7 RC : Win 7 can reconise the SD Card and I can use it, but only during the session.
Next time i start the system I have the same error as before.

For this 4 in one Card Reader there is no Driver for Win XP or Vista nesesary, so i think there normally no driver needed for Windows 7 RC either.

Easy Transfer Error Message
I hope someone can help me. I recently installed Win 7, and I used easy transfer to move from 32 Bit Vista Home Premium to Win 7 64 Bit Home Premium. I did a custom install, but I did not format the partition. Everything worked great - iTunes, Outlook, and all of my pictures and movies came over.

I repeated this same process with the same transfer files on an identical machine and I am getting the following error:

'Windows Easy Transfer couldn't open the file' I'd believe this except that the same file worked 2 hours ago.

Has anyone seen this error? Anyone have any ideas to get all of my files out of this archive?

Path Is Too Deep : Error Message
I installed Windows 7068 in my Asus G2s Notebook, and everything worked just fine for like 2 months. But, the 7100 version was released, and i wanted it, so i backed some important files up, and formatted my computer. The installation was fine, but, when i was restoring my files from the backup, there was a particular file that wouldn't copy.

It is Fallout 3.iso file. I tried copying it like, 10 times, and everytime i tried to copy, it would stop at 2.4gb +-. After it stopped, explorer wouldnt respond, and its process couldn't be finalized. So, the only solution was to shut down the computer. I tried many things, to see if i could solve the problem (without any sucess)

-Gave full permission to the Folder and Hard Drive

-Tried to copy the file inside the HD and copy it again to my hard drive, but even copying inside the HD, it would stop at 2.4gb.

-Tried many other things, with no sucess.

Until i tried it on my mom's XP Notebook. I copied it, and on 2.4 GB it would say : Cannot copy Fallout3.iso Path is too Deep

Tried everything, but none of it worked.

Error Message When Resuming From Hibernation
When coming out of hibernation in Windows 7, I get the following error message:

"Your system's firmware did not preserve the system memory map across the hibernation transition. If you proceed with resume, your system could behave in an unexpected manner after resume completes. It is recommended that you save all your data and reboot after system resume finishes. Kindly check for a firmware update with your system vender as it may fix this problem."

Windows 7 continues to resume and I have not noticed any problems once it resumes.

I am dual booting Vista 64 bit SP2 and Windows 7 64bit on an HP DV3510NR. I recently flashed the latest bios version for my system dated May 2009.

I have no problem resuming from hibernation when booted into Vista. Has anyone else gotten this error message. Any thoughts on how to go about solving this?

IE 8, Error Message, No Such Interface Supported
I installed Windows 7, Evaluation Copy, Build 7100, about 2 weeks ago. I installed the upgrade from Vista. I was using IE 8 with Vista for several months.

For several days I used IE 8 on 7 without a hitch. Suddenly, I began receiving an error message on certain sites, "no such interface supported", when I attempted to go to a next function on a website, namely a function that would open a new window via java script.

Based upon various postings, including on MS forums, I reset IE 8 (although was unable to do so except through the wizard in MS Fixit), rebooted, etc. Did this a couple of times. But, have been unable to get rid of the problem.

I also tried replacing various .dll files; however, the attempts were unsuccessful.

Based upon what I have read, this has been an intermitent problem with IE all the way back to at least IE 5. However, I have been unable to find any fixes on MS; and none on forums that seem to work for me.

In the meantime, Firefox works without a hitch. So does W-7 (in fact I love it), except for this issue.

Cannot Open Outlook - Error Message
I am using Windows 7. After installing Office 2003 about a month ago, I just started having problems with Outlook. I started getting error messages after waking up the computer from sleep. I don't remember the errors but it was saying something about the pst file not being available or something.

I would try to delete a message, but it would give me that message and also, it stopped receiving messages. Just got the Send/Receive error message. I would try to do a find in contacts and it would give me that error message.

So, I called HP b/c this is a pretty new computer. One tech figured out that Outlook was corrupt. Who knows how? I had to leave and was instructed to call back when I got home to unistall and reinstall Outlook. I just called HP back and spoke with another tech. Well, we tried to Repair Office. When it was finished, I tried opening Outlook but it won't open. I got this message:

Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook Window. The set folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if the situation persists

We tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office twice, but we are still getting that message. I cannot open Outlook now.

Win 7 Installation Error Message
I have two 160GB SATA hard drives in a RAID array. A 47MB Fat Primary partition contains BootMagic which controls a 7.7GB NTFS Windows XP Primary partition and a 58.6GB NTFS Vista Ultimate Primary partition. I formatted the Vista partition from the XP partition using Partition Magic and disabled BootMagic and set the 58.6GB partition active.

I then restarted the computer and the Windows 7 ISO DVD started just like a Vista installation DVD. I used the RAID floppy when requested and the files expanded successfully but shortly after that the following error message appeared:-

“Windows could not update the computer’s boot configuration. Installation cannot proceed.”

I then restarted the computer with the Vista DVD in the drive and the installation went through as normal. Is this likely to be due to a corrupt file in the Windows 7 download or a problem Windows 7 has with my boot arrangement that Vista did not have?

Unable To Install, No Error Message
I've been trying to get Windows 7 working for a couple days, without success. A friend of mine told me about this forum, so I figured I's try my luck and ask my fellow Windows users.

I have a valid, working copy of Windows 7 build 7000x32 on disk. The same disk has been used on other computers and works fine. However on my machine, it begins the installation just fine, until it reaches the blue Windows 7 background screen. Then it stops. No error, it just stops working.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I find it extremely frustrating.
