Nvidia And ATI Drivers Issues
Long story, starts with my right click starting to lag for about 2-4 seconds whenever it was clicked about a month or so ago. At first it was intermittent then all the time and it affects the right click everywhere (desktop, applications, games). I discover its not the mouse, but I have no way of knowing what it is so I bind the side button next to it to right click and live with it and after about 3 weeks it goes away. Then my 8800 gts dies while playing COD6 and I order an ATI 5770 to replace it, thinking its toast. While its being shipped I cook the 8800gts successfully in the oven and its back to working fine, but I've already ordered the 5770. Once it comes I uninstall all my nvidia drivers and run driver sweeper in safe mode then install it, but I can't get the ATI drivers or catalyst control center to run for the life of me. I talk with XFX tech support for a few days and I did everything I could before concluding there was no way I could make it work without reformatting so I return the card for a refund. Now back on my 8800gts for about 3 days the right click lag just started up again after several hours of doing some work on Visual C# 2008 Express Edition. Now the XFX tech supports best idea was that there was something wrong with my .NET framework or C++ redistributable. Now that I've been working in VCEE for a few hours, both would have been used and thats when the right click lag came back so I'm thinking there is an issue with something in one of those. When trying to get the ATI drivers to work I reinstalled .NET framework 1.1, 2.0, and the C++ redistributable. I'm looking for any ideas on how to fix mainly the right click lag and possibly the ATI driver issue, but I returned the card so that doesn't really matter anymore.

Win 7 Video Drivers From Nvidia
I have the RC version of Windows 7 installed and the WDDM drivers seem to work ok, but every time I update the drivers to the official WHQL drivers off nVidias web site they install fine but then DX10 fails to work (ie Hellgate London in DX10 mode). Is this a known problem or should a person just stick with the WDDM 1.4 drivers that come with Microsoft's update.

Video Drivers For Nvidia 6800 XT/GS Don't Work
I cant find any video drivers for windows 7 That will work, My machine stats up likes its loading windows then just shuts off?? I uninstall the video drivers and it starts up fine with bad graphics?? So i need correct drivers. I had to put xp back on my machine to get back up and running. ANy Help With the drivers would be greatful. Really would like to give windows 7 another shot.

Asus M3A / ATI SB600 / ATI Chipset RAID Drivers 64-bit
This is my first post but after searching the internet trying to find RAID drivers to work with 64-bit Windows 7 when using an Asus M3A motherboard, or another model using the ATI SB600 RAID driver, I have discovered a lot of people are having an issue and are having to use IDE emulation mode. I was lucky to stumble across this post on the AMD forums with a working driver: AMD Game Forums - SB600 RAID driver for Windows 7 If this driver ever gets removed I will keep a copy, please send me a message on this forum and I'll email it to you, it works! Several people have suggested downloading combinations of drivers or forcing the use of older ones, but this one does work straight away, no hassle.

ATI Video Driver Problem
I've installed the lastest leaked version of windows and am having problems with the video drivers. I'm running a 3 year old Asus laptop, W3000 series and can't get the screen res above 1024x768, I've tried lastest ATI vista drivers and the ATI windows 7 pre-release driver without luck. Will have to put vista!! back if I can't get this sorted. It runs very quick now.

Ati Video Driver Keep Crashing
PC got good cooling i check my flow and it moving past CPU and Video the most air OS Windows Vista 64bit and Windows 7 64bit Both OS My mobo has onboard video and whe i pull my video card out and run off on board it still does this driver crashing my video Card driver keep crashing in both os at desktop alll the time and it just keep doing it i just be watching a video on line or just looking at stuff or on web or anything even game all suddden my pc frozes for sec but my mouse moves and then go black and then back to desktop like nothing happen and windows keeps and it doesnt do driver crash when i am in games like OFP2 and i tryed older drivers and newer drivers and i just dont know what to do i about to pull this card out and see if it does it on g@y onboard video that came on this board.. if anyone could show me any light or any info on what i should do or need to do lmk.

NVIDIA NForce 6150SE And NVIDIA MCP61 Drivers
I got motherboard: Asus m2n-mx se plus. Video Card : nVIDIA nForce 6150SE (6100-430), Onboard Audio : nVIDIA MCP61 , D-Link DFE-520TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter . My Motherboard comes with Vista drivers, but I heard that even that are creating problems for video and audio. Should I download any specific drivers beforehand?

AGP Card For Nvidia Or Ati
Given the choice of nvidia or ati chipsets, if you needed a supported AGP video card for W7, which would you use? Not looking for a one-off card, but one that fits within the nvidia or ati unified driver model and is supported (preferrably with inbox drivers).

When I first installed the OS I used windows update in order to install a driver for my vid card. I am now trying to use a driver from nvidia. I go through the entire process of installation smoothly, restart, but when I go back into the device manager the same microsoft driver is there.

ATi And Nvidia Driver Under Win7 For Physx
I have a hd4870, and I want to use a 9500gt as a PhysX acclerator. I could install both driver and both cards ready and I see them in device manager. But in the Nvidia CPL I couldn't see any option for Physx. I have one Monitor and both are connected to it. This is not the biggest problem in the world, but maybe others have some experience with that and can tell me.

Detects ATI Instead Of Nvidia Graphic Card
So I installed Windows 7 32bit a couple of days ago and I have tried to install the drivers for my NVIDIA 8600 GTS ever since without success. I downloaded several versions from nvidia and none of them work. The weird thing is is that according to device manager I've an ATI X1200 installed. I tried uninstalling it and installing nvidia drivers but it still doesn't work. Im clueless, since I have no experience in solving problems with my graphic card. So, if anybody got some tips and things for me to try, I'd be grateful.

H.264 Hardware Acceleration And Ati Video Cards
I'm using an ati 4870 and a hauppauge HVR-2200 tuner card to watch New Zealand freeview (h.264). The high definition channels - tv 1, 2 and 3 and the HD preview channel - are working somewhat ok (though with some issues of stuttery playback especially after changing channels, although this is relatively minor). However, the remainder of the channels fail to play back properly. My tuner card finds them fine, and when I try and watch them I get the audio tracks fine also. However, the video is always incredibly stuttery and full of artifacts and is often predominantly green. It's not at all watchable. I've heard that this is a recurring problem for people trying to watch hardware decoded h.264 on an ATI graphics card on any operating system. So my question is this: Has anyone found a solution? Is there a way to tell media center not to use hardware decoding and use software decoding instead?

Issue With ATI Radeon HD 2400 Video Card
I would send in a report from the windows 7 desktop but I can't access it, sort of. I was having issues with the installation of Windows 7 and kept getting memory dumps each time. Looking at the dump file it would be the following BugCheck 116, {fffffa8005218010, fffff880034207e8, 0, 2} Probably caused by : atikmdag.sys ( atikmdag!Dispatch_CollectDbgInfo+0 ) So the file is a driver for ATI videocards. I have an onboard video card also so I removed my ATI and installed it using that. Works perfect. No issues. I then downloaded from ATI their beta drivers for Windows 7 (Catalyst) for both x86 and x64. I get another error but that is with the Catalyst itself. I get error "Error Detecting" or something like that, but that is for ATI to look at. Now, I thought ok, it's my ATI Video card. But my wife has the same PC as me, so I took out her video card (damn she was not happy about that) and I installed it in my system. Rebooted PC to Windows 7. Same error message. I am installing Windows 7 on the following PC Acer Aspire M5100 Dual Core (AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 6000+ 3.0Mhz ATI Radeon HD 2400 w/256 megs 4 Gigs of Ram 500 Gig harddrive SATA. Has anyone alese who has an ATI 2400 card been able to install this?

ATI 9250 PCI Video Card Problem
Well either 7 is to advanced for this little PCI video card or ATI is falling behind. I just installed 7100 build or the RC (if it really is lol) on my older P4 2.8 with this video card installed and I can not for the life of me figure out a way to get the drivers installed for this card. Right now the default ones keep my display under 1280 by 1024 that the monitor should be at and the 7 drivers off ATI's site don't work. Windows is calling it "Video Controller" and I try to update with no luck.
