Via HD Audio Deck Incompatible Audio Driver

I am having trouble with my audio drivers (Via HD Audio Deck), I have tried installing them with compatability mode: Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) The driver installs but most of the features don't work and exits the program.

I am currently using Asus p5kpl-cm mainboard (socket 775), and running 2 operating systems: Windows Vista 32-bit & recently installed Windows 7 RC 64-bit The exact same audio drivers work for vista 32-bit.

Answer:-

Have you tried running the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP or Windows Vista? To do this, right click on the program .exe and open the Properties menu, then navigate to the compatibility tab and select "Run this program in compatibility mode for..."

Realtek AC'97 Audio For VIA (R) Audio Controller Drivers Issue
I just installed Windows 7 and it seems awesome! The biggest problem so far is with audio drivers. I have MSI KT6V LSR motherboard (using VIA KT600 north bridge and VIA VT8237 South Bridge). I got the sound to work by installing drivers, but after I reboot the computer, sound didn't work anymore.

The volume icon in notification area shows a red cross, and when I click it, Windows starts a windows "Detecting problems". After that, it says that reinstalling the driver might help.

Switching From HDMI Audio Output Back To Built Audio Output
Win7 RC (64 bit version) Recently I had to plug in just a monitor and speakers to my system (and unplug the HDMI TV input).  Per the control panel, it correctly states that there is no HDMI device and standard line out is the active device.  (Little bar graph goes up and down as audio supposedly is being outputed).  (If I boot XP the audio works just fine.)

My question is can anyone provide a pointer to where to look to see where the audio stream is going (I think it is still heading towards the HDMI port).

Hardware - I7, MSI X58 MB, ATI 4350 graphics card, NO audio card (just built audio).

Audio Driver On MSI MB
I recently downloaded and installed Windows 7. My motherboard is an MSI K9N6PGM2-V with realtek onboard audio. I have tried the XP and Vista drivers and still can not get the sound to work. The device manager shows the driver installed. The volume is turned up. I may try to upgrade the os from a working XP copy to Windows 7. Anybody have any other ideas or solutions?

Hp Dv4125us Audio DRIVER
I put the beta into a relatively older laptop, hp dv4125us and everything works great except for the audio. The device is a Soundmax Integrated digital audio. Whenever any type of video or audio is played, the system freezes. I'm pretty sure that it's an incompatible driver, but i can't seem to find the right one. Any ideas?

Issue With Conexant Audio Driver
I'm experiencing some issues with my Conexant audio driver and I'm hoping someone could help me out. I have a Toshiba P100-437 laptop and for some reason my audio stops working after a couple of reboots. So here is the scenario:

I install a fresh copy of Windows 7. It installs a "High Definition Audio Device", provided by Microsoft, version 6.1.7600.16385, date 2009/07/13. When I do a windows update, it installs a driver by Conexant: "Conexant High Definition SmartAudio HD2". The sound works for a while, until after a couple of reboots when it just suddenly stops working: the equalizer in the volume control is still moving up and down but no sound is coming out of the speakers.

So I force the driver back to the Microsoft's "High Definition Audio Device", after which it works for a while again until after a couple of reboots and then its dead. Does anyone have any other drivers I may try or perhaps any other solutions?

Audio Driver For Asus M2N-MX
I've got an Asus M2N-MX motherboard without the optional S/PDIF connector. Under Vista Professional 64-bit I was able to plug my speakers into the line-out socket and get sound using the 64-bit driver from the Asus website. Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit assumes I've got the S/PDIF connected so I don't get sound from the Line-out socket. I've tried installing the Vista 64-bit drivers I used before but these don't seem to work, even in Compatibility Mode. What can I do to get the sound working again?

Intel D945gnt Audio Driver
I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit build 7600 on my machine and I'm having a problem with the OS not even recognizing my Audio hardware. I've visited the Intel site and I don't see any available options for drivers there...just the following:

RAID: Intel® Matrix Storage Manager Driver for Intel Desktop Boards

I've pulled this down and I'm not quite sure how to install or if this will even correct my problem. All I'm seeing is a red X over the audio icon and when I hover over it I get the message "No Audio Output Device is installed." I had no problems with the device with XP 32 bit. Any suggestions?

If you have previous drivers installed, this will uninstall the old ones and then restart the computer. Run the driver install again and you're good to go after another re-start.
